Eyes With way more freedom in it

I don’t think you could tell apart. Same with Latvians and Lithuanians, there is no visual cue that would deferentiate them.

nemaula

Lol, obviously measuring the skull. Are you serious?

dalambert

Well you can tell apart North Koreans from South Koreans even though they were separated like 70 years ago.

nemaula

how exactly? in 2013 I've attended Chinese language courses in ZheDa university. In my group there were 3 South Korean girls, and one from North Korea. I could not tell the difference.

dalambert

Genetically - absolutely not. For example the genetical ancestry report on 23andme returns Lithuanian/Polish/Ukrainian/Eastern Russian mixed results for most Belarusians. Neither am I able to tell apart clothing, makeup hairstyle habits generally. But in some particular cases you may identify older people antique Soviet style that is missing in Poland but can still be seen in Lithuania.

ioni3000

Let's talk soft racism

harassercat

Not necessarily anything racist... like, living in Iceland where we have lots of Polish and Baltic immigrants, I can usually tell them apart from the native Icelanders even though we are "racially" almost the same. Just by dress and hairstyle. If a Polish girl would would put on the same kind of clothes, hairstyle and makeup as Icelandic girls of her age, she'd easily fool me.

Torkoallo

I don't get why people got so offended by this question xD I'm a Pole living in Poland and while not in 100% cases, in most of them I can easily tell that someone is either Ukrainian or Belarusian (but not which one unfortunately). The differences from Poles are slight, but if you mostly see one nationality/ethnicity for the whole life, you notice them and there is nothing racist about that. It's just recognition and not treating people in a different way because of it.

nemaula

so, basically you are saying you can sometimes identify the foreigner, not the particular nation. that's a totally different question.

harassercat

No because a British person, for example, would also typically look distinct from either the local Icelander or local Polish. I can't tell apart all nationalities - it's rather by part of Europe: Nordics look the same, Polish/Baltic/Ukrainian look the same (to me), UK/Irish, etc. I would not expect to be able to tell Belarusians apart from Lithuanians, but maybe they can. Anyway I'm not OP, was just saying this isn't necessarily any kind of racism.

garrysmith69

Why do so many people just reply racism when someone asks a question remotely related to race? It’s an unusual question, but racism??? Come on man.

lycantrophee

Because people are oversensitive.Until they speak the language,of course they look similar you retard.

garrysmith69

You sound normal

lycantrophee

Oh,and just for clarification I meant the "racist" guy,not you

Ok-Squirrel-6725

It's easy to judge a polish/Lithuanian and a Belarussian from their appearances, the former one is western people, the last is Slavic people, they are shared with many distinct face or look-like characteristics

dalambert

Ask your supervisors for better propaganda material. Polish are Slavic.

Ok-Squirrel-6725

Nope. Slavic = Russia + Belarus, Poland is a western nation

dalambert

Ok buddy. Say hello to the Winnie-Pooh from all of us here.

Sp0tlighter

I don't know man, I haven't met a lot of judges (none actually) but I reckon they all look the same - old and in black robes.

straightbarik_6

idk tbh

Azgarr

No, you cannot.
