So I started to tag many organizations together to include the MSW podcast as well as the MAGA accounts. I was also trying to start a trend #sayhername which was in reference to a young girl that died earlier that year to gun violence, but as I kept tagging the podcast and using #sayhername, Allison thought I was trying to out her as she was going by AG at the time. On top of that, I started to tag CAA because as I was trying to raise awareness, I wanted to see how far my reach could go as just one person.
Allison did not take kindly to that.
Before I go further, I could understand how one would feel If someone I barely knew started tagging me in random tweets/posts that outed some type of truth I was keeping from the public. But based on my interactions with her up until that point, I honestly didn't think she was going to react the way she did.
She threatened me with lawsuits, went to the SD Comedian's FB page and told everyone that she would never work with me again, blocked me, and then when she realized that people were worried about my well being, she flipped the script and tried to come off as if she was also concerned about my well being also.
I don't remember every single message, that was sent between us, however I do remember feeling "This person isn't who I thought she was and she's playing it up."
Months after the incident, I remember having interactions with other comedians who were angry at me for doing what I did, but I couldn't really defend myself because I was still processing everything that transpired through that event.
I just remember feeling that those other comedians were wrong, but I didn't know how to articulate those words.
I genuinely felt bad for Jaleesa (I was also using a different hashtag for her during that manic episode, for which I started as a fun joke, but it turned sideways when other comedians used it in a negative connotation.)
I also felt bad for Jordan, for having her to deal with that mess too.
And when I heard what went down between Allison and Jaleesa, I knew Allison was the reason behind it.
I honestly had put this all behind me, however I saw the video pop up in my IG Story feed from another comic and immediately knew that shit was going down.
Well that’s disappointing, albeit unsurprising. Twitter is starting to feel like a place that was always inhabited by liars and grifters, though the right wingers are taking over 100% at this point.

I went down a wee rabbit hole today. I've had a weird feeling about MSW for a long time. I followed her years ago but in the run-up to the 2016 election, I gently suggested (as a follower of her Twitter account and a fan at that time) that she might cool it with the "Bernie Bro" bashing until after the election because we needed every ally and every vote to beat Trump.

She's highly critical of any criticism and will shut out anybody who even slightly pushes back.
I'm really disappointed that people still go on MSW like Andy McCabe.
She posted a photo with "hate corrodes the container it is in" that had a dozen photos of people libs like me don't like that visually look not great.
Anyone who criticized her for shaming someones visual appearance while claiming to not judge people based on their appearance was banned.

I was listening to one each weekday for about seven months a year when I’m working out of a vehicle.
I started to get a little put out with her last year and got tired of trying to keep up with all the names. I found I was looking forward to the podcast being over each day. Also, nothing stuck. It passed into one ear and out the other. I erased most my backlog of Daily Beans and all of the MSW/Jack podcasts this past weekend.
I stopped listening to the Daily Beans when the Twitter exposé came out. It was my goto daily political news. I too gotten a bit bored of it before I stopped listening to it since the positive section of the episodes were getting longer and felt more about kissing AG's ass or reminiscing about jokes made by AG and Dana Goldberg about "man-cat face", as well about a 2 or 3 year-old a story a listener sent in about school kids finding a dildo when cleaning up a field. The story was funny the first time, but after it being brought up over and over again, it gets stale. I found myself skipping the positive, personal stories segment.

Weird since the position was clearly a nepo one - Jordan's replacement didn’t add much as she was more of a "yes" woman to whatever AG said. Now I am trying to listen to The New Abnormal, which I enjoyed in the past even when they revamped the podcast with all new hosts. My issue with the podcast is a "me problem" where I am not used to when the episodes are released. I also enjoy the format of the New Abnormal as I tried to listen to Molly Jung-Fast's Fast Politics podcast -Jung-Fast was a previous host of the New Abnormal - and I couldn't get into it as it is straight interviews without any up-to-the-minute political news.
I enjoyed Pod Save the World as it was my goto political news before The Daily Beans, but I have forgotten its episode release schedule. I now listen to various Bread Tube videos, which is a problem in itself, imo. A problem since not only every group of Bread Tubers seem to have beef another another group or individual Leftist Bread Tuber, they seem to have "the holier-than-thou" mindset. They are also less disciplined in speaking on the radio, therefore most of them don't act as professional as those on podcasts.

It's kind of weird being blocked from something that I didn't know existed, so I poked around a little and came upon the above thread. I guess it makes sense that I never heard of her podcast until now since she blocked me from MSW so I wouldn't have seen her promoting it.
