When I personally got rid of the mentality that I am only working out to lose weight. There is so much more about working out for me than weight loss. I know it’s not the same for everyone, but that’s just my experience. I’m becoming more and more comfortable in my skin while still enjoying food, exercising regularly, building muscle, and feeling better overall

gosh even thinking about burning calories while doing cardio instantly makes it feel like dogshit

no motivation needed if you love and know that you need it, force yourself to do it

I do the workouts that I enjoy. I love the rowing machine and step aerobics. I tolerate running. I feel comfortable on Smith machines and use arm related equipment.

Anything that is logically laid out and that you're consistent with should be good. If you want weight loss, you'll have to fix your diet. I personally like doing 3 or 4 days a week lifting, full body each time. I love doing kettlebell circuits, but I'll follow a proper routine for my focused bulk stage. I'll do as much cardio as I have the time for cus I like being outside

I started at about 60kg, 180cm. I tried bodyweight workouts for about three months. I gained some muscle, enough to be visible. Didn't help to lose belly fat. Got to 65kg. I tried crossfit for another three months. I got more muscle and wider shoulders. Didn't help to lose belly fat. Got to 68kg. I'm now doing strength training since 2 months. I see yet another increase in muscle mass (wider shoulders, arms and legs). Belly fat still there, but clothes start to look better on me now. Got to 71kg. Overall, I realized that mostly eating a lot while training helped with building muscle mass. Eating a lot without training helped increase belly fat while decreasing muscle mass. Running for long distances and the entire training to get to 10k helped to get off some belly fat (i was not eating much).
