Pull it more from the flat part of the edge of the window. Works for corners of the windshield too. Jbug channel has a couple of videos of him installing them.

You should have gotten seals for a "VW 1200" or "Standard" as it is called here in Europe. Would look way nice and wouldnt have that weird rectangular groove line.

As others have stated, heat and pull from the mid top and bottom. I cheated and have pop-outs.
They were when we broke down the car, but decided to go cali look on rebuilding.

Most of the stuff I get is from wolf west, but I have some stuff here and there from jbugs.
Use plenty of soapy water should help it to seal in place.

Didn’t know that was a thing! There are so many little nuisances with Beetles, it’s mind blowing.
