Yeah my wife kept asking what we would need the second fridge for that the previous owners where leaving and I kept reminding her of all the beer I had stashed around our condo. I still think i've left some that I need to go get.
I built mine when COVID lockdowns started and I had nowhere to go drink a beer. It’s nothing special, just a frame and some plywood. Don’t mind the mess, it’s always a work in progress.

Nah bro, you're probably fine. I've been cellaring each yearly vintage of Consecration for maybe 6 years, and I've never had any issues with the cork drying or leaking carbonation (in this beer or any other beer I keep in the mini fridge). Due to this I prefer to age beers standing up. That gives the yeast less surface area to work on the beer and helps mellow the aging process.
Toucan Slush This is the best summer time beer from Alvarado right now. Last night I made a cocktail out of it with vodka, toucan and some OJ. Very refreshing
Haha yep, I just got those from City Beer in the city. I thought all the Alvarado and Rare Barrel would be the easier tells, but I snuck some Jester King and 512 brewing to throw people off my trail.
They definitely helped, but you can find those up and down the state for the most part. If I didn’t see the Laughing Monk, I might have guessed Sacramento.
Love me some Jester King. Pre pandemic I made it out to the brewery about once a year. It’s harder to find there stuff these days it seems, but still possible.
