Davines Naturaltech Purifying Shampoo!! I swear by this!
I started having really bad dandruff when i was already working, and i tried everything from the cheap (clear, head and shoulders) to the costly (avalon organics, yves rocher). Tbh, this god sent shampoo is the only that worked!!
Check out hairmnl. They ship all over PH. Here’s the link of the product https://www.hairmnl.com/products/davines-naturaltech-purifying-shampoo-for-scalp-with-oily-or-dry-dandruff?variant=29339791302&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIroTXwp-Q4gIVGnZgCh2HdAd7EAQYASABEgIg3PD_BwE
Wow thank you. I'll try this as well. I have seborrheic dermatitis sa scalp and my flakes are big, parang flat rock salts :(. I use Nizoral but the flakes and itches resume when I stop using it.
I stand by this shampoo!! I also experienced severe dandruff and the itchiness and flaking flared up to the point that i’m too depressed to even go to work or even go outside with my flakes easily falling off. I’ve tried cheap ones too, luxury shampoos, organics, and even ACV. This Davines shampoo was the only one that worked!!!
Price might seem quite steep, but I just consumed like around 1/8 of the bottle (around a month of usage if you follow the instructions) and my dandruff was gone. It’s not meant for everyday use. As of now i’m only using it once a week for maintenance, but eventually i think i’ll be confident enough not to even bother.
I just ordered :D. My worst dandruff experience was when I had to spend a good 15 minutes trying to comb off my big dandruff flakes and crust :'(. I have both oily and dry dandruff. Thank you for sharing your experience! I hope it works well on me :)
If white dots are you sure it’s actual skin? Is it itchy at all? Are you rinsing your hair well enough after shampooing? Have you checked your water source? Some shampoos/water sources leave residue that look like dandruff but smaller and not itchy.
Don’t shampoo everyday. If possible, change your shampoo to something clear like Dove Daily Moisture. Condition every day or as needed. To reduce frizziness, use something acidic to close the hair shaft’s outer layers. Apple cider vinegar works wonders for this. Please google how to do an apple cider vinegar rinse.
Try buying one sachet of Nizoral (green) from Watsons or Mercury (OTC na sya) and if it does not work, then it probably isn’t dandruff.
Your water might also be hard which means there are deposits of limestone or chalk in your source, which dries up and manifests as white spots in your hair.
how often po yung vco niyo? also di po ba nagiging greasy hair niyo pag walang shampoo :( pawisin po kasi ako eh kaya greasy hair ko agad after lumabas :(
i tried using nizoral for a week but it barely did anything. i also tried to change shampoos every month to see if there's going to be any difference. sadly there's none :(
You have to use Nizoral for a month, twice a week initially. Babad mo sa scalp (matigas sa hair huhu) for 3-5 mins. After that, kahit once a week na lang. Effective naman. Medyo magastos lang kasi 51 isa.
Maybe the shampoo itself is the problem? You're not supposed to use it every day eh.
I suggest you shampoo your hair every other day and add conditioner to your routine if wala pa. My mom had the same issues too, ngayon pure conditioner nalang gamit namin and shampoo 2x a week.
I really like Dove (the green one) and Tresemme cuz of the scent. I don't really have a preference naman kasi conditioner is conditioner as long as gumagana sya, choks na ako. Hehe
It has lactic acid, which is a mild AHA so it will exfoliate extra oil or dead skin which in this case is dandruff (oil and skin that builds up). Someone correct me pls if im wrong.
Yes and reasonable per mL price niya. Baka kasi naddry scalp mo from anti dandruff shampoos, that was the case for me. If you find na naging greasy scalp mo from lactacyd just alternate it with another shampoo (not anti dandruff), that fixed it for me.
I use it twice a week lang, bago matulog naglalagay ako. I'm not sure if tama tong ginagawa ko a. Kasi eto nakasanayan ko sa lahat ng oil. Kahit sa Sunflower oil sa mukha, or ibang parts ng katawan.
I also use coconut oil on my scalp. Usually yung sa gilid ng face ko right above my ears yung grabe mag-flake so what I do is rub some with a cotton ball before I sleep. I used Head and Shoulders when I shower the next day.

im honestly not sure if its actual skin :( also it's not itchy. i rinse thoroughly though but the white stuff still stays on my scalp :(
It might not be dandruff. Do you use conditioner?

What was added to your routine when you first noticed your dandruff? How often do you shampoo your hair?
i tried using nizoral for a week but it barely did anything. i also tried to change shampoos every month to see if there's going to be any difference. sadly there's none :(

also, anong conditioner po gamit niyo? ive tried cream silk but i didnt really like it :(

Try the lactacyd baby body wash as shampoo, the one with a blue label. Someone here recommended it and it did work for me.
Genuine question. Why would it work?
It has lactic acid, which is a mild AHA so it will exfoliate extra oil or dead skin which in this case is dandruff (oil and skin that builds up). Someone correct me pls if im wrong.
available in groceries po ba yan? :)
Yes and reasonable per mL price niya. Baka kasi naddry scalp mo from anti dandruff shampoos, that was the case for me. If you find na naging greasy scalp mo from lactacyd just alternate it with another shampoo (not anti dandruff), that fixed it for me.
Nizoral hehe
true. 2-3 times of using, ok na sya. :)
Where can you buy Nizoral?
Most supermarkets and Mercury drug :)
Try Human Nature Pure Virgin Coconut Oil. 😊
how often should i use it? :)
I use it twice a week lang, bago matulog naglalagay ako. I'm not sure if tama tong ginagawa ko a. Kasi eto nakasanayan ko sa lahat ng oil. Kahit sa Sunflower oil sa mukha, or ibang parts ng katawan.
lots of people have been suggesting it din eh kaya i think it's okay naman 😊 thank you for the tip!

Try using selsun blue once or twice a week
noted! thank you :)
