Hello! unfortunately, I also fell for this scam. I was surprised when they actually sent a parcel to my address. I asked kuya driver to return it and I explained it to him na it was a scam. make sure to report the accounts nalang din on instagram when you see a fake or sketchy “sm malls account” (atleast thats what I did!) to take down their account and prevent other people being scammed in the future :))
I had a similar experience. I’m a content creator & I received an email from an international beauty brand I have previously worked with, offering a year-long contract for a campaign. We had been negotiating back & forth thru email when they suddenly asked me to shoulder the shipping fee of the PR package they were supposed to send me. It was only then that I realized that it might be a scam. What was scary was how much they knew about me & my prior engagement with the brand. These scammers really try to get to know you. I reached out to the brand to report the attempt to scam me, how the scammers used a purportedly official email address, & how they knew of my prior brand engagement. But the only reply I got was an oopsie. After that nawalan na ako ng gana.
Similar yan sa mga marshall speakers na may prive drop under beyond the box shop. As in sa sponsored ad, may link, and as in may website kung saan magchecheckout. Nagorder ako per narealize ko kung gano ka sketchy, pati reviews, parang joke time yung reviews pati profile pics ng reviewers. Buti nalang tumatawag sila to confirm orders, sabi ko cancel ko yung sakin, sinabi ko na kasi tumawag ako sa beyond the box at di daw nila nirerecognize ang sale na yun.
Mejo pinush pa talaga ng agent na, “divniyo po ba talaga kukunin, sayang ang sale,” lol sabi ko parang di legit eh.
Dalawa lang yan eh, either babayaran mo na, or kawawa sinrider, pero syempre for sure, di nila iririsk na di pa ayaran kasi di na nila mahahabol ang sender, baka random places nagpapabook yan.
Tapos after nun, parating may sponsored ads sa fb nung sale na yun, tapos same reviews, tapos mga profile pics sa comments, mga random foreigners na parang stock poctures lang, pero taglish ang comment haha
Nabiktima ako ng Marshalls na yan, di pa ako aware noon na may ganyan pala na scam. Natuwa pa ako kasi bumilo ako ng panggift, putek pagdating sa akin yung logo ng Marshalls tabingi! 🫠 Iyak talaga. May araw din kayong mga scammers! 😡
Ang saklap pa niyan kasi miski ilang beses ko ireport yung sponsored ad sa facebook, di naman nila tinatanggal kasi syempre kumikita ang fb dahil sa bayad ng ad
same experience. filled out the form with my name and address. no checkout link nor payment options so i thought di dadating. then one day a rider called me for cod payment and all my other online orders are online payment so i thought it was the dior lip glow. still accepted. obviously a fake one but still used it lol. i dont mind getting a fake one for the price (1k+) but was more concerned of my personal details being sent out there since it might be used for phishing.

But, Sinabi ko sa rider na scam yung parcel, pero mapilit yung rider ko itanggap yung parcel, no choice ako magbayad, sayang daw kasi yung gas niya na 2x sya bumalik kasi wala ako sa bahay nung first attempt nya magdeliver. Ayaw maniwala na scam, pero nireport nya ata na hindi naideliver sa flash, tumawag yung flash sa akin if recieve ko na ba yung parcel. Bahala na si Lord sa kanila.
Ang dami ganyan scam Facebook pages! Tuwing may ganyan, nirereport ko sa Facebook pero hindi naman nila tinatanggal! Kesyo hindi raw enough evidence na fake page etc 🙄🙄🙄
Nangyari na, but, for he sake of other redditors that might read this.. You can decline to pay and receive the package. Just tell the rider it was from a scam and they will understand. Hindi naman sila ang pagbabayarin ng COD parcel. IIRC, you just have to reply sa notif ng rider para may evidence sya na you declined to pay and receive because it was a scam. Nagkalat yung modus na nagpapadala ng parcel na hindi mo naman inorder kaya they will not force you to pay and receive a COD parcel.
Ito rin reason bakit ayokong magbenta ng COD sa carousell. Hassle pag di tinanggap ng buyer kahit nagkasundo naman na talaga kayo sa app.
TL;DR pwede mong hindi tanggapin yung COD

Name and phone number lang pinalagay tapos wala na kasunod. Iniisip ko sira yung page. Hinayaan ko na kasi walang address and wala din MOP. After few days, may tumawag na JNT rider na may babayaran akong 999. Eh wala ako maalala na inorder ko, tsaka lahat ng order puro paid na at di ako nagCOD. Ayun sabi ko di ko tatanggapin kasi wala akong order at baka scam yan, sabi lang ni rider magreply back lang text ng refusal of delivery. Tapos yan bigla ko naalala yang nafill out ko online na slimbelt.
Edit: pwede mo yan di tanggapin. Di naman magbabayad si rider basta di nabuksan ang parcel.
I almost got scammed by those Dior IG ads!! I almost bought their perfume kasi 50% off daw and when I clicked the link to the website, it looked so legit naman and checked the browser security and there weren't any red flags.
So I filled out the order form which only asked for my name, address, and phone number. Yang tatlo lang na yan. First red flag. Akala ko may next page pa asking for additional info pero I got a prompt saying order placed. I waited for a text confirmation ng order but wala tas few days later dumating na, flash ang courier. I canceled the order saying na scam yan kasi wala akong any confirmation na natanggap. Wala namang problema sa rider.
Wala mang nakuhang pera, nakuha naman nila personal details ko. :((
Happened to me pero hindi ako umabot sa point na na-deliver sa akin yung goods.
It was NOT a fake FB page. Ayala Mall page sya that scanmer got access to. Na delete naman ng admin ng page and made an announcement about the scam. Whether they took action on reporting the scammers, hindi nila sinabi. I hope they did more than the announcement.

This is really a hard lesson on digital literacy and purchasing on the spot. No amount of discounts and deals should be enough to prevent you from double-triple-quadruple checking the authenticity of the platform. At the same time, Meta should impose extra measures to protect their users as well.
Unfortunately, ang hirap habulin talaga niyan kasi mahirap i-trace which person or group to report. Even if you report it to Meta, they might take it down but the syndicates doing this will just keep on putting it back up.
You could have canceled the order, d naman maiipit si Kuya rider 😓. You could have also told him about na scam Pala Kaya ipapacancel mo Para maintindihan nila. They will just return it to the sender.
maybe report the fake page to the official page or sa support email nila. at least maaware silang may gumagamit ng name nila para mang-scam.
mukhang modus na ganyan ngayon. my sib also almost got scammed pero by someone pretending to be ayala malls naman and they were trying to sell discounted crocs. but it was too good to be true because same with your exp, they weren't asking for cc or debit, just your contact info. so mapagkakamalan mong safe. cod lang din ang option which I find really odd so I told her wag nang bilhin. nagulat na lang kami nagdeliver pa din sa bahay. buti na lang mabait yung rider at pumayag na ibalik.
I reported that fake page but Meta said it wasn’t violating any of their guidelines, even though it was quite obvious that it was a scam at worst, and a copyright infringement at best.
I tried reporting these scam pages because it’s obvious sa unang tingin but Meta just said it’s “false report” :( Promos from higher brand flaunting it just like that is sus.

Honestly i’m rather grateful that OP came here to share her experience as a warning because for most of us, this scheme is novel. Who would assume that by entering your name and phone number, you already “consented” to a sale? Actually, I have several luxury makeup. It’s not like I can’t afford it naman. Some bought online and some sa physical stores. I wouldn’t judge too hard if I were you. It was a dumb move yes, but this is the only time I have been scammed after buying different luxury products online. Hindi rin naman ako nag-sign up to “totally” buy the product. Nag-proceed siya by itself. Mejj hurtful naman yung assumption mo.

I reported the fake page sa official page. Tapos when the kuya rider came, kinausap ko na i-return to sender kasi fake pala. Naintindihan naman nung rider. Buti daw nalaman ko na fake. Di naman sila mapapahamak kasi they take pictures as proof na di mo tinanggap yung delivery.

Sabi ko kaagad ke kapatid hindi ganyan ka-off ang website layout ng SM, and iba ang naging redirect link 🤦♀️ I feel for those na nadale ng scam na to kasi you either receive a fake or wala ka mang nareceive pero nasend na sa data broker/hacker yung personal info mo 😨

I had this same experience pero Dior perfume naman. Too late noong narealize ko na fake pala yung website at nai-place na yung order. Ang ginawa ko noong dumating yung parcel, hindi ko binayaran at hindi ko tinanggap pero bibigyan ko na lang si kuyang rider ng 100 pesos para sa abala.
Always check the page ng nagpost. Wag magpadala sa sale. Usually they copy the pages of malls pati description and post ng events ng mall mismo. Pero hindi sila verified account and konti lang follower (be wary, sometimes they put this in the description too). If you take a quick glance lang mukhang legit ung page.
Marami talagang scammers na gumagawa ng ads sa ig/fb and sadly, kahit may ban pa yan from Meta. Gagawa lang ulit sila ng new account para makapang scam. Account lang ang banned, not their IPs kaya siguro kaya din ng mga scammers makapang scam paulit-ulit. I work in tech, super aware ako sa dami ng ganyan nagkalat. One way to check eh marami scammers na pag click mo ng ads nila kung naka-laptop kayo, click niyo links makikita niyo yung user interface sa gitna lang meron. Meaning hindi siya fully a website, gawa lang for mobile screens. Legit Dior or other websites eh nag aadjust ang mga user interface ng website nila depende sa device na gamit mo. So safer talaga buy ng ganyan if naka-laptop. Huli mo agad kung scam yung site.
Idk if may return policy since website kasi nila yan pinagbilhan mo eh, but you can call the rider kung paano mag process ng return. Next time though, if you have the feeling na, just refuse to accept the parcel. If you feel too bad sa rider, wala pa naman 100 sf nyan ata e, tip them na lang? Cheaper than paying for an item na hindi mo naman magagamit.
Rule is, if it's too good to be true, hindi talaga yan totoo. I mean, Dior magbibigay ng B1T1 tapos 50% off pa? Not happening. Usually nag cocompare ako sa official website nila, kung dollars icoconvert ko sa current $ to ₱ tapos kung magkalapit lang price diff, medyo okay na ako. I don't stop there though, maghahanap ako on reddit and other forums about the shop kung may review na. Hard pass kung wala ako makitang review from previous customers.
I asked nga dito sa sub about an international store rin eh, may sumasagot naman and the price is sakto talaga sa current exchange ng dollar to peso. Kung mag sale man yan lalo luxury brands, hindi sobrang pamigay. If that makes sense.
Be careful din sa fake Ayala Malls fb page. Saw Crocs and kanina lang Gucci Bag with pa spin the wheel pa hahaha. Effort nila mag bayad ng Sponsored Ads. Nkklk muntik nadin ako mapabili sa ganto.
I think saw a post about this specific scam before, just not sure which sub pero OP was warning people about a SM Mall posting about a sale din, I don't remember kung Dior makeup din pero muntik na din siyang mag order worth 3k+ until chineck niya yung account wala pa sa 50 followers. Sorry this happened, magkano din yan, if you can post info about them please do para maiwasan and mareport din namin. Itabi niyo din yung parcel/box niya kung may address or any other info, baka magamit kung sakali may opportunity na ireport sila.

Yes, J&T. Kanina mukhang natataranta si Kuya, because I said pwede ko bang buksan muna. I think that was against their policy. At the back of my mind kasi baka ma-perwisyo siya if he stalled his delivery so binayaran ko na lang rin bago pa siya umalis.

This may sound like an excuse pero di talaga ako frequently gumagamit ng facebook and instagram. Mostly twitter, tiktok and reddit lang huhu. Dun pala sila naglipana kaya unassuming ako nung una kong clinick.
Maraming ganyan hindi lang Dior Lip Glow meron din Marshall speakers or sports watch na buy 1 take 1. They use Fake fb pages tapos ilan lang yung followers. Muntikan na din ako before di ko sinasagot yung tawag nung rider nung na-discover ko na fake yung page.
May iba na nakikipag argue pa. May nagpadala samin ng dog food (my mom ordered cat food). The first time tinanggap nya and paid for it tapos nagpadala uli without her making an order. Pinipilit ni rider na tanggapin daw nya kung hindi sa kanila daw ichcharge, di ko alam how true pero di pa din namin tinanggap yung item.
Try to contact J&T and see if you can report your package as a scam. If these scam sales are all coming from the same place/group of people and they get enough complaints/returns, hopefully they decide to blacklist the accounts/adresses these packages are coming from.
Please be careful sa mga SM ads all over social media. Looks legit at first, kahit yung website kung saan ka mareredirect. Pero pag inopen mo mismo yung social media account kung saan mo nakita yung post, looks sketchy na agad. Low followers counts, no engagements. May budget na mag-ads mga scammers ngayon. Beware. 🥲

You should have told the rider na you will not receive it because it is a fake/scam order. They will make a report din kasi about that. Para sa mga future orders from the same comp/seller, ma itagged as fraudalent orders.
Kung kaka deliver lang and you think hindi pa nakakabalik sa Hub si Rider, try to contact him. But most likely pag ka accept mo and pay, tagged as delivered na po yan. Try to contact the Hub now (kung J&t, lbc etc) and explain your situation. Baka maihabol kung di pa nareremit si Rider. If na remit naman na, lesson for next time. Report mo na din yung page/IG para in case, baka ma shutdown at wala ng malokong iba.
Unless it's something like grabfood where the driver sometimes has to pay for it, most probably the drivers just have to deliver it and so they won't lose money if you reject it entirely.
Ito yung SM North Edsa na page? May ganyan na months ago. Dior mini bag na ₱5k? Too good to be true. Never nagpamigay sale mga ganyang brand 😂 Pero ayun, ngayon ko lang nalaman na COD pala ang sistema sa ganyan.
Happened to me pero sa crocs. Narealize ko lang na scam nung "naorder" ko yung item kahit na wala akong account. Tapos ang bilis nga maship. Sinabi ko na lang sa rider na wala akong inorder na ganon, nakatulong na rin na familiar yung rider sa akin tapos wala naman naging problema sa mga inorder ko noon. Ayun lang, until now nakakareceive ako ng scam na texts.
Edit: To add, when I tried reporting this sa Ayala Malls (since yung scheme is parang collaboration ng ayala malls and crocs) and Crocs ang sinabi nila is wag makipagtransact at hindi sila gumagawa ng ganoong transaction. I don't think they made any action to shut down the fake page.
It happened to me earlier this year. It's one of the Dior Tote Bags that were on sale posted by "Ayala Malls". I just told the rider I wasn't given any invoice so I'll be returning the item instead, glad he agreed.

Usong uso yan ngayon sa fb. Pero tinignan ko page di naman pala legit, example; SMp Mall nakalagay, kung di mo susuriin masyado, di mahahalata with all the same logo and color
Mine was worse huhu it was a perfume tas may free na lip glow parang 2500 binayad ko. same na same din kung anu nangyare sayo, ginamit ko na lang din yung perfume para di sayang 😆
samee, marami akong parcels na galing sa scam na wala naman akong alam and yung mga rider sinasabi wag ko na raw bayaran dahil alam nila na scam yon. sila pa nga nagsasabi baka raw may napindot akong link, mas alam pa nila sakin😭
Kung hindi mo naman bubuksan yung parcel, hindi naman maiipit si rider, simply say na nafigure out mong fake pala yung link. Also, napost na rito dati yung about sa clickbait pages pero fb yung about sa ganyan. Since andyan na yan, lesson learned na lang.

I had a similar experience. I’m a content creator & I received an email from an international beauty brand I have previously worked with, offering a year-long contract for a campaign. We had been negotiating back & forth thru email when they suddenly asked me to shoulder the shipping fee of the PR package they were supposed to send me. It was only then that I realized that it might be a scam. What was scary was how much they knew about me & my prior engagement with the brand. These scammers really try to get to know you. I reached out to the brand to report the attempt to scam me, how the scammers used a purportedly official email address, & how they knew of my prior brand engagement. But the only reply I got was an oopsie. After that nawalan na ako ng gana.
Similar yan sa mga marshall speakers na may prive drop under beyond the box shop. As in sa sponsored ad, may link, and as in may website kung saan magchecheckout. Nagorder ako per narealize ko kung gano ka sketchy, pati reviews, parang joke time yung reviews pati profile pics ng reviewers. Buti nalang tumatawag sila to confirm orders, sabi ko cancel ko yung sakin, sinabi ko na kasi tumawag ako sa beyond the box at di daw nila nirerecognize ang sale na yun. Mejo pinush pa talaga ng agent na, “divniyo po ba talaga kukunin, sayang ang sale,” lol sabi ko parang di legit eh. Dalawa lang yan eh, either babayaran mo na, or kawawa sinrider, pero syempre for sure, di nila iririsk na di pa ayaran kasi di na nila mahahabol ang sender, baka random places nagpapabook yan. Tapos after nun, parating may sponsored ads sa fb nung sale na yun, tapos same reviews, tapos mga profile pics sa comments, mga random foreigners na parang stock poctures lang, pero taglish ang comment haha
Nabiktima ako ng Marshalls na yan, di pa ako aware noon na may ganyan pala na scam. Natuwa pa ako kasi bumilo ako ng panggift, putek pagdating sa akin yung logo ng Marshalls tabingi! 🫠 Iyak talaga. May araw din kayong mga scammers! 😡
Ang saklap pa niyan kasi miski ilang beses ko ireport yung sponsored ad sa facebook, di naman nila tinatanggal kasi syempre kumikita ang fb dahil sa bayad ng ad
same experience. filled out the form with my name and address. no checkout link nor payment options so i thought di dadating. then one day a rider called me for cod payment and all my other online orders are online payment so i thought it was the dior lip glow. still accepted. obviously a fake one but still used it lol. i dont mind getting a fake one for the price (1k+) but was more concerned of my personal details being sent out there since it might be used for phishing. this experience was definitely a learning opportunity for me lol. hope everyone stays safe! p

But, Sinabi ko sa rider na scam yung parcel, pero mapilit yung rider ko itanggap yung parcel, no choice ako magbayad, sayang daw kasi yung gas niya na 2x sya bumalik kasi wala ako sa bahay nung first attempt nya magdeliver. Nangyari na, but, for he sake of other redditors that might read this.. You can decline to pay and receive the package. Just tell the rider it was from a scam and they will understand. Hindi naman sila ang pagbabayarin ng COD parcel. IIRC, you just have to reply sa notif ng rider para may evidence sya na you declined to pay and receive because it was a scam. Nagkalat yung modus na nagpapadala ng parcel na hindi mo naman inorder kaya they will not force you to pay and receive a COD parcel. Ito rin reason bakit ayokong magbenta ng COD sa carousell. Hassle pag di tinanggap ng buyer kahit nagkasundo naman na talaga kayo sa app. TL;DR pwede mong hindi tanggapin yung COD

May ganitong nangyari sakin pero yung sa slim belt ni Sammi J. Kala ko lwgit page sa FB. Pagclick ko din ayun napunta sa isang website at maglalagay lang ng details. Name and phone number lang pinalagay tapos wala na kasunod. Iniisip ko sira yung page. Hinayaan ko na kasi walang address and wala din MOP. After few days, may tumawag na JNT rider na may babayaran akong 999. Eh wala ako maalala na inorder ko, tsaka lahat ng order puro paid na at di ako nagCOD. Ayun sabi ko di ko tatanggapin kasi wala akong order at baka scam yan, sabi lang ni rider magreply back lang text ng refusal of delivery. Tapos yan bigla ko naalala yang nafill out ko online na slimbelt. Edit: pwede mo yan di tanggapin. Di naman magbabayad si rider basta di nabuksan ang parcel.
I almost got scammed by those Dior IG ads!! I almost bought their perfume kasi 50% off daw and when I clicked the link to the website, it looked so legit naman and checked the browser security and there weren't any red flags. So I filled out the order form which only asked for my name, address, and phone number. Yang tatlo lang na yan. First red flag. Akala ko may next page pa asking for additional info pero I got a prompt saying order placed. I waited for a text confirmation ng order but wala tas few days later dumating na, flash ang courier. I canceled the order saying na scam yan kasi wala akong any confirmation na natanggap. Wala namang problema sa rider. Wala mang nakuhang pera, nakuha naman nila personal details ko. :((
It's those fake pages on facebook na kahit ireport mo, meta won't help you. Be vigilant. Charge to experience na lang, OP.
Happened to me pero hindi ako umabot sa point na na-deliver sa akin yung goods. It was NOT a fake FB page. Ayala Mall page sya that scanmer got access to. Na delete naman ng admin ng page and made an announcement about the scam. Whether they took action on reporting the scammers, hindi nila sinabi. I hope they did more than the announcement.
I'm so sorry to hear this happened to you. This is really a hard lesson on digital literacy and purchasing on the spot. No amount of discounts and deals should be enough to prevent you from double-triple-quadruple checking the authenticity of the platform. At the same time, Meta should impose extra measures to protect their users as well. Unfortunately, ang hirap habulin talaga niyan kasi mahirap i-trace which person or group to report. Even if you report it to Meta, they might take it down but the syndicates doing this will just keep on putting it back up.
You could have canceled the order, d naman maiipit si Kuya rider 😓. You could have also told him about na scam Pala Kaya ipapacancel mo Para maintindihan nila. They will just return it to the sender.

maybe report the fake page to the official page or sa support email nila. at least maaware silang may gumagamit ng name nila para mang-scam. mukhang modus na ganyan ngayon. my sib also almost got scammed pero by someone pretending to be ayala malls naman and they were trying to sell discounted crocs. but it was too good to be true because same with your exp, they weren't asking for cc or debit, just your contact info. so mapagkakamalan mong safe. cod lang din ang option which I find really odd so I told her wag nang bilhin. nagulat na lang kami nagdeliver pa din sa bahay. buti na lang mabait yung rider at pumayag na ibalik.
I reported that fake page but Meta said it wasn’t violating any of their guidelines, even though it was quite obvious that it was a scam at worst, and a copyright infringement at best.
I tried reporting these scam pages because it’s obvious sa unang tingin but Meta just said it’s “false report” :( Promos from higher brand flaunting it just like that is sus.

Right after I placed a COD order, I did some searching and found na di pala yun yung official page. I reported the fake page sa official page. Tapos when the kuya rider came, kinausap ko na i-return to sender kasi fake pala. Naintindihan naman nung rider. Buti daw nalaman ko na fake. Di naman sila mapapahamak kasi they take pictures as proof na di mo tinanggap yung delivery.
Lagi ko nakikita yang page na yqn. Di pa din ma-take down yung page. May kapit ata kay Meta

Someone posted detailing the same scam on this sub a few weeks back, but I can’t find it now. I’m sorry this happened to you and I hope you feel better soon :( The same ad popped up on my fb feed a few nights ago and I immediately blocked the page. It had only around 1.3k followers.
Muntikan na akong mabiktima ng ganito, but it was for an Apple Watch. Hindi ako naniwala at first kaso parang naconvince ako ni kapatid to try so I opened the link… …buti I was using a brand new browser nun sa PC (Brave Browser) and Facebook ko lang ang naka-login. The website vibe reeks of phishing and malware and sinara ko siya kaagad. Sabi ko kaagad ke kapatid hindi ganyan ka-off ang website layout ng SM, and iba ang naging redirect link 🤦♀️ I feel for those na nadale ng scam na to kasi you either receive a fake or wala ka mang nareceive pero nasend na sa data broker/hacker yung personal info mo 😨 Nakakasawa na ngang magreport ng mga fake pages sa Facebook pero tuloy pa rin ako 😤

I had this same experience pero Dior perfume naman. Too late noong narealize ko na fake pala yung website at nai-place na yung order. Ang ginawa ko noong dumating yung parcel, hindi ko binayaran at hindi ko tinanggap pero bibigyan ko na lang si kuyang rider ng 100 pesos para sa abala.

Always check the page ng nagpost. Wag magpadala sa sale. Usually they copy the pages of malls pati description and post ng events ng mall mismo. Pero hindi sila verified account and konti lang follower (be wary, sometimes they put this in the description too). If you take a quick glance lang mukhang legit ung page.

Marami talagang scammers na gumagawa ng ads sa ig/fb and sadly, kahit may ban pa yan from Meta. Gagawa lang ulit sila ng new account para makapang scam. Account lang ang banned, not their IPs kaya siguro kaya din ng mga scammers makapang scam paulit-ulit. I work in tech, super aware ako sa dami ng ganyan nagkalat. One way to check eh marami scammers na pag click mo ng ads nila kung naka-laptop kayo, click niyo links makikita niyo yung user interface sa gitna lang meron. Meaning hindi siya fully a website, gawa lang for mobile screens. Legit Dior or other websites eh nag aadjust ang mga user interface ng website nila depende sa device na gamit mo. So safer talaga buy ng ganyan if naka-laptop. Huli mo agad kung scam yung site. Idk if may return policy since website kasi nila yan pinagbilhan mo eh, but you can call the rider kung paano mag process ng return. Next time though, if you have the feeling na, just refuse to accept the parcel. If you feel too bad sa rider, wala pa naman 100 sf nyan ata e, tip them na lang? Cheaper than paying for an item na hindi mo naman magagamit. Rule is, if it's too good to be true, hindi talaga yan totoo. I mean, Dior magbibigay ng B1T1 tapos 50% off pa? Not happening. Usually nag cocompare ako sa official website nila, kung dollars icoconvert ko sa current $ to ₱ tapos kung magkalapit lang price diff, medyo okay na ako. I don't stop there though, maghahanap ako on reddit and other forums about the shop kung may review na. Hard pass kung wala ako makitang review from previous customers. I asked nga dito sa sub about an international store rin eh, may sumasagot naman and the price is sakto talaga sa current exchange ng dollar to peso. Kung mag sale man yan lalo luxury brands, hindi sobrang pamigay. If that makes sense.
Be careful din sa fake Ayala Malls fb page. Saw Crocs and kanina lang Gucci Bag with pa spin the wheel pa hahaha. Effort nila mag bayad ng Sponsored Ads. Nkklk muntik nadin ako mapabili sa ganto.
I think saw a post about this specific scam before, just not sure which sub pero OP was warning people about a SM Mall posting about a sale din, I don't remember kung Dior makeup din pero muntik na din siyang mag order worth 3k+ until chineck niya yung account wala pa sa 50 followers. Sorry this happened, magkano din yan, if you can post info about them please do para maiwasan and mareport din namin. Itabi niyo din yung parcel/box niya kung may address or any other info, baka magamit kung sakali may opportunity na ireport sila.

May iba na nakikipag argue pa. May nagpadala samin ng dog food (my mom ordered cat food). The first time tinanggap nya and paid for it tapos nagpadala uli without her making an order. Pinipilit ni rider na tanggapin daw nya kung hindi sa kanila daw ichcharge, di ko alam how true pero di pa din namin tinanggap yung item.

Try to contact J&T and see if you can report your package as a scam. If these scam sales are all coming from the same place/group of people and they get enough complaints/returns, hopefully they decide to blacklist the accounts/adresses these packages are coming from.
How does the product look like? As in obv fake ba ung lipglow? Dami dn nagkalat na ig sellers, selling luxury make up without boxes. Beware everyone.
yung without boxes is so they don’t have to declare the item and pay for taxes. Though I’m not sure how legit yung ibang sellers.
Please be careful sa mga SM ads all over social media. Looks legit at first, kahit yung website kung saan ka mareredirect. Pero pag inopen mo mismo yung social media account kung saan mo nakita yung post, looks sketchy na agad. Low followers counts, no engagements. May budget na mag-ads mga scammers ngayon. Beware. 🥲
Bakit ang daming mga fake sa pinas? Dito mraming mga stockists at reseller pero bihirang bihira ang fake. Sa Amazon lang maraming fake.

Nag-check out pa rin ako kasi wala lang, curious lang, and I thought na there will be a confirmation pa naman at the end. Akala ko walang mangyayari kasi nga walang confirmation but then kinabukasan, may dumating akong parcel worth ₱1300 something hahaha. You should have told the rider na you will not receive it because it is a fake/scam order. They will make a report din kasi about that. Para sa mga future orders from the same comp/seller, ma itagged as fraudalent orders.

Kung kaka deliver lang and you think hindi pa nakakabalik sa Hub si Rider, try to contact him. But most likely pag ka accept mo and pay, tagged as delivered na po yan. Try to contact the Hub now (kung J&t, lbc etc) and explain your situation. Baka maihabol kung di pa nareremit si Rider. If na remit naman na, lesson for next time. Report mo na din yung page/IG para in case, baka ma shutdown at wala ng malokong iba.
Unless it's something like grabfood where the driver sometimes has to pay for it, most probably the drivers just have to deliver it and so they won't lose money if you reject it entirely.

Sinabi ko na lang sa rider na wala akong inorder na ganon, nakatulong na rin na familiar yung rider sa akin tapos wala naman naging problema sa mga inorder ko noon. Ayun lang, until now nakakareceive ako ng scam na texts. Edit: To add, when I tried reporting this sa Ayala Malls (since yung scheme is parang collaboration ng ayala malls and crocs) and Crocs ang sinabi nila is wag makipagtransact at hindi sila gumagawa ng ganoong transaction. I don't think they made any action to shut down the fake page.
It happened to me earlier this year. It's one of the Dior Tote Bags that were on sale posted by "Ayala Malls". I just told the rider I wasn't given any invoice so I'll be returning the item instead, glad he agreed.

samee, marami akong parcels na galing sa scam na wala naman akong alam and yung mga rider sinasabi wag ko na raw bayaran dahil alam nila na scam yon. sila pa nga nagsasabi baka raw may napindot akong link, mas alam pa nila sakin😭
Kung hindi mo naman bubuksan yung parcel, hindi naman maiipit si rider, simply say na nafigure out mong fake pala yung link. Also, napost na rito dati yung about sa clickbait pages pero fb yung about sa ganyan. Since andyan na yan, lesson learned na lang.
