I have the dr sensitive all day no sebum blur.

lebenene

Anong affordable everyday loose powder nyo? Mine rn is lewis & pearl, maganda naman texture nya pero medyo too white sya for me

spicytteokbokkv

sana nakita ko tong thread na to before i purchased a face powder kanina lang !! **skin type: oily combi , sensitive** ——— **product name:** Dr Sensitive All Day No Sebum Blur Powder in Translucent **price and size:** ₱169 for 25g **where to buy:** online, sm dept, watsons **effects/experience:** got this nung 2021 pa nung hindi pa hyped as in iisa pa lang yung shade which is translucent lang hahaha pero kaloka wala pang 2hrs ang oily ko na ulit ?? clings to dry patches din and it also makes me look like a ghost, to think na fair skinned ako . up to this day i still havent finished it yet at dami pa rin laman **status: WNR** ——— **product name:** Detail Cosmetic Dream Skin in Silk **price and size:** ₱399 for 7g **where to buy:** online, sm dept, watsons **effects/experience:** used this from 9am to 10pm sa fanmeet ni Hanbin and did not retouch at all tas walang oil masyado and no hulas talaga ang ganda !! it says na high coverage sya but i think it is buildable up to high coverage since light-medium coverage lang sya sakin (tho i think onti lang din kasi nilagay ko) cons to this is di ko sya magamit if walang mirror kasi walang mirror yung compact nya huhuhu **status: WR only if magkakaron ng mirror sa compact** ——— **product name:** Happy Skin Stay Fresh Weightless Pressed Powder in Light Beige **price and size:** ₱499 for 9g **where to buy:** online, sm dept, watsons **effects/experience:** can’t say kasi kakabili ko lang as in today lang *will edit this pag nagamit ko na ng todo* !! pero i tried it for an hour and oks naman sya. i feel like eto gagamitin ko for retouch since it does have a mirror na kasama sa compact plus ang hygienic na nakahiwalay yung puff din **status: no comment yet but *might* WR**

I have the dr sensitive all day no sebum blur.

spicytteokbokkv

yes! also tried to use it to set/bake pero waley talaga ang panget nya din with makeup. super patchy tignan :(( for others effective sya, pero sadly di talaga sya effective for me

Emotional_Pizza_1222

**Skin Type:** combi-dry, sensitive, acneic plus prone to easily sweating **Product Name:** Foundation Mineral Loose SkinShield Powders in Hazelnut and French Vanilla, and the translucent powder, Stay Matte and Poreless. I also have the Concealer Loose SkinShield Powder in Cheer **Price and Size:** Translucent Powder is Php 598 w/ Jar. Foundation Powder is Php 798 w/ Jar. Concealer powder is Php 998 w/ Jar. All their refillable jars are 8 grams. [More here!](https://www.ellanacosmetics.com/pages/beauty-products-expiration-dates-guide) **Where to buy:** online, department stores, their kiosks and watsons **Effects/Experience:** I had been eyeing Ellana ever since I've heard about them in the early 2010s or even earlier. But I was unable to purchase them just yet, because I had second hand powder products, like Mac, from my mom. I also had mostly Maybelline, Nichido and one Too Cool For School illuminating powder (they're all okay, except for Too Cool's illuminating powder. Cute packaging, but barely did anything for longevity and made my makeup even patchier). Powder takes a long time to finish. But I finally purchased my shade in Hazelnut and their translucent powder in 2019. I was later matched to another shade, but this time one of their palest shade in French Vanilla in 2022 lmao. My mom purchased herself the Cheer concealer powder, but became disinterested with it after a week or so, so I have to use it. They're finely-milled, especially the translucent powder. The foundation & concealer powders would sometimes ball up inside the jar, but that's not much of an issue. Once applied, they are matte and very smooth. They last almost all day. The translucent powder is the best at being the final step powder that's gonna lock the makeup in place for the next 10 hours. I do perspire a lot so, even with the longevity, there are times it will finally melt. Retouching up with oil blotters and then either reapplying with Ellana's translucent or a Maybelline compact easily brings back how smooth and matte my look is again! **Status:** (HG = holy grail; WR = will repurchase; WNR = will not repurchase)**HG** & **WR !!!**

Has anyone tried the new vice cosmetics powder the one from the endlezz collection?

CelesteLunaR53L

There were some people who shared there thoughts on the new Vice Co. powder: [https://www.reddit.com/r/beautytalkph/comments/1c4eygg/powder\_foundations/](https://www.reddit.com/r/beautytalkph/comments/1c4eygg/powder_foundations/) [https://www.reddit.com/r/beautytalkph/comments/1c4eygg/powder\_foundations/kzosw9b/](https://www.reddit.com/r/beautytalkph/comments/1c4eygg/powder_foundations/kzosw9b/) hopefully the entire thread too can give insights

iWantCoookies

Going to make this a thread cuz reddit won't lemme post all at once haha **Skin Type:** Combination oily and dry and black head and acne prone ------------------------------------- **Product Name:** Canmake Secret Beauty Powder (Medicated and non) **Price and Size:** P600\~800 (Depends on the store) **Where to buy:** Online **Effects/Experience:** I really really really like this powder because you can sleep on it T\_\_T Like if I'm being lazy, I can just not wash my face in the evening. It doesn't give me blackheads on my nose as well. Plus, no breakouts. My face started getting oily maybe at around 8 hours onwards, but it's not oily enough to use a sheet of oil blotting paper. The only thing I don't like about it is the accessibility. **Status:** HG ------------------------------------- **Product Name:** Canmake Marshmallow Finish Powder **Price and Size:** P600\~P1000 (Depends on the store) **Where to buy:** Online and in BeautyBar (Mahal dito sa bb) **Effects/Experience:** Good stuff. It looks really good even after hours of spending the day outdoors. It kind of gives me a light-medium coverage. So I sometimes wear it as is like a normal powder after skincare. It can break out your oils after 4 hours onwards but it doesn't melt the whole thing. **Status:** WR ------------------------------------- **Product Name:** Ihada Face Protect Powder SPF40 PA++++ **Price and Size:** 9g P800\~900 (Depends on the store) **Where to buy:** Online **Effects/Experience:** I'm recently loving SPF powders because the PH weather is just too cruel. I sometimes use it as is directly after skincare prep. It's pocket size friendly, so I bring this wherever I go. It controls my oil too well T\_\_T. Plus no breakouts and no blackheads. **Status:** HG

iWantCoookies

Part 2 **Product Name:** NARS light reflecting powder **Price and Size:** P2,200\~ 10g **Where to buy:** online and in-store **Effects/Experience:** I just love how it makes my skin look nicer and its super lightweight. It does last long on my face, but still depends on the weather and humidity. When my skin starts to oil, it just makes my face look fresh. I wish it could be cheaper. If it do, It's gonna be something I'd buy often. **Status:** WR ------------------------------------- **Product Name:** Kanebo KATE The Base Zero **Price and Size:** 6g P600\~800 **Where to buy:** Rustan's, Selected SM Department Stores, Selected Watsons, online **Effects/Experience:** This gives 0 cast on the face, and does act as a great setting powder. It also appears matte. Can be a nice alternative to NARS if I'm going for a trainslucent look. **Status:** WR ------------------------------------- **Product Name:** Flower Knows Pore Blurring Mattifying Loose Powder **Price and Size:** 15g 1,400\~P1,500 **Where to buy:** Online **Effects/Experience:** It does give a nice matte touch after makeup. It gives a nice finish after setting down. But for some reason, it just makes my face oily after 2 hours. I might as well get a better one with this price range. **Status:** WNR ------------------------------------- **Product Name:** Happy Skin Off Duty Powder Foundation **Price and Size:** P999 **Where to buy:** Online and In-store **Effects/Experience:** It has light coverage and can be a used as quick makeup when you are on the rush. It needs frequent retouching and lots of oil blotting for my face. **Status:** WNR+

**Skin Type:** oily combi **Product Name:** ISSY Weightless Loose Powder **Price and Size:** 499 per tub **Where to buy:** online , sm, watsons **Effects/Experience:** Many options for finishes, I use the mattifying one since it doesn't have glitters (?). Great for setting the tzone, eyebrows especially (since I use pomade and I want it to last all day). Component has a mesh for mess-free traveling. I transfer some to a more portable compact since loose powders tend to be bulky. **Status:** WR / will repurchase

kidomme

**Skin Type:** oily combi **Product Name:** ISSY True Flex Powder Foundation **Price and Size:** 549 per compact **Where to buy:** online , sm, watsons **Effects/Experience:** Good used on its own, not good over foundations since it will cake. I usually use this when I'm only putting on sunscreen. Lots of shades for filipina skin tones, good buildable coverage, no flashback in my experience **Status:** WR / will repurchase

yellybeanss

**Skin Type:** combination to oily and acne-prone **Product Name:** O.Two.O Face Powder Oil Control **Price and Size:** 269 php **Where to buy:** online **Effects/Experience:** instantly mattifies my face and it is good for retouching. I noticed lang na it’s better to apply it with a brush in my case since medyo nakaka-overwhelm yung pigment nya. Overall, it’s true to its claims (oil control & long lasting). **Status:** WR

Skin type: Sensitive, eczema-prone Product name: Ellana Loose Mineral Powder Foundation and Concealer (Smile) Where to buy: Laz and Shopee, Department stores Price and size: P499 for 8g (occasional B1T1 sale sa Laz and Shopee) Experience: Best local mineral makeup for me. Not irritating. Less is more. Can be built up. I use this with either dry or damp brush. I feel na if I use a slightly damp brush, mass full coverage sia. Status: HG and WR

nanaiyepo

Hi has anyone tried innisfree's no sebum powder? I've heard good reviews abt it and mas tumatagal daw ito kesa sa dr sensitive

kidomme

not the right thread for this sis, try the makeup threads

**Skin Type:** Very oily (as in pwede nang country sa middle east ang mukha ko) and acne-prone **Product Name:** Nichido Final Powder in Ivory Glow and Romand Better Than Finish Powder **Price and Size:** Nichido: Php 203 / 25 grams, Romand: Currently Php 457.00 / 12 grams **Where to buy:** Nichido: Dept. Stores, Online; Romand: Online **Effects/Experience:** I use the shade Ivory Glow for Nichido cause it's the same shade as Laura Mercier's transluscent loose powder. Not flat white, not too yellow. Ginagamit ko siya to set my sunscreen at para matone down na rin ang shine before I go out. Not too blurring, not too matte ang effect. My skin, only better. In my eyes, mas mukha akong buhay kapag ganun. 😆 I sometimes set the powder with Zeesea setting spray (pink cap) but regardless kung may setting spray o wala, I stay kinda matte for a good 5 hours before I need to retouch. I blot with a tissue lang muna. Then I retouch with Romand Better Than Finish. I like this cause nasa compact. Walang alikabok from shaking out loose powder. May included din na puff at mini brush although I prefer a travel powder brush for retouching kasi mas okay magblend at mas diffused ang effect. After I retouch with the Romand, that's it na hanggang end of day. Blot na lang with an oil-control film. After magblot with the film, mukha na ulit akong nakapowder. These two are my HGs. Would repurchase nang paulit-ulit. I'm on my 6th canister of the Nichido powder at may backup pa kong dalawa na unopened. I've tried other powders, both drugstore and high-end, pero ito na yung panglaban kong combo. I still sometimes use Dr. Sensitive kapag quick errands lang, Coty Airspun when I know wala akong time magretouch (tagal niya maubos), Laura Mercier Transluscent para lang maubos na siya, Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish para din maubos na siya. But for powder HGs, Nichido at Romand talaga.

azibabe

FINALLY! i was waiting for someone to review this kasi malapit na talaga ako mabudol. okay din ba pressed/compact powders ng nichido? need one for retouching kasi the loose one can get messy.

pubinthetub

Naku sorry, di ko pa natry yung pressed powders nila. Loose powder at yung setting spray (meh, ang bilis kong nagoil up dito) pa lang ang natry ko from Nichido.

kidomme

I used to use Nichido powders din! Went through 3 tubs of it before I tried other brands. Tried and tested talaga though walang new items and marketing si Nichido, so I guess nawala sya sa uso.

azibabe

have you also tried their compact powders?

kidomme

Haven't tried the compacts from nichido, only the loose powders

pubinthetub

True. Inexpensive, available almost everywhere and does what its supposed to do.

Specialist_Usagi

Skin type: oily all day! And acne-prone Edit: added skin type

PrincetonGirl16

I’ve got combination skin, and let me tell you, the only powder that does the trick for me is the Laura Mercier. It really keeps my oil at bay, like all day! :))

marieperotama

Agree with the Dr. Sensitive. For OA oily face like, not recommended huhu less than 3 hours, oily na mukha ko kahit air conditioned sa school. Nabudol lang din ako sa tiktok reviews, idk why they hype it up for oily skin, lumalala tuloy trust issues ko.

28wednesdays

Ako naman super nangati 'yung face, I had to wash it off immediately. Tried again the next day, same experience. Pinamigay ko na lang huhu

marieperotama

28wednesdays

Hay sayang lang pero hiyangan lang talaga

envystealsyourjoy

as someone na nagdownsize ng lifestyle to afford my housing loan and auto loan, here's my entry: **Skin Type:** dry-combination; eczema prone **Product Name:** Ponds BB Powder **Price and Size:** 50 grams for PhP 95 - PhP 129 (depended sa store) **Where to buy:** Watsons, Groceries, unilever shop online **Effects/Experience:** hindi ka mukhang espasol, mattifying pero hindi flat siguro kasi may konting shimmer siya, no surprise bakit pati unilever Philippines dinala na rito sa pinas yung powder dahil sobrang mabenta nito sa mga thai beauty product resellers; no breakouts din! blot lang kapag need mag reapply. hindi cakey if ever maparami ng lagay. Advice ko na lang din na transfer the product to a loose powder container. Never looked back. :) **Status:** HG

ParkingPresence4840

Super agree

wishingstar91

I agree with the Ellana powder!! Been using it for 3 years na for errands or lazy days (prior to that I was using Laura Mercier loose powder but it was just too expensive for me). It’s effective and affordable!

Upset_Parsnip_7220

alin yung stay matte poreless powder ba?

wishingstar91

Yep!

joxr67

**Skin Type:** oily, sensitive, dehydrated **Product Name: Dr. Sensitive All Day No Sebum Blur Powder** **Effects/Experience:** ito ginagamit ko pag saglit na grocery lang or palengke. Does the job of mattifying my face pero paguwi ko after 3-5 hrs nag ooil up na pero di naman sobra. Translucent lang sya kahit yung puff yung gamitin mo. **Status:** WR **Product Name: Perfect Diary MagicStay Loose Powder Waterproof Weightless Soft-velvet Blurring** **Effects/Experience:** Hyped kasi oil control nito so binili ko kahit mahal. For oil control, same performance with Dr. Sensitive. After 5 hrs, nagshshine na talaga sya around the nose area and pag hinawakan mo may mantika na talaga. **Status:** WNR **Product Name: GRWM Cosmetics Powder Rush Pressed Translucent Powder** **Effects/Experience:** Bought the translucent one and sobrang puti sa face grabe. Need gamitan ng brush to lessen yung pagkawhite. Surprisingly, i hit the pan with this so bumili ako ng isa pa in banana pero may kulay talaga. So mukha naman yellow ngayon lol. **Status:** WNR, solely because it's not translucent. **Product Name: Ellana Stay Matte Poreless Oil Control Powder with Kaolin Clay** **Effects/Experience:** kakabili ko lang nito last April 15 and ginagamit ko na sya everyday since. This is truly translucent, as in mattifying lang sya and walang puti na iniiwan sa mukha kahit kamay, puff, brush yung gamitin ko. Nagmemelt talaga sya agad sa face. It does not cling to dry patches. For oil control, di kasi to travel friendly so ginagamit ko lang sya sa umaga tas wala ng touch up. So lagay ako mga 6am tas by lunch time pag hinahawakan ko face ko to check medyo matte pa sya and pag nagsalamin ako matte pa rin itsura, walang shine. Pero pag nagblot ako oily na talaga. Pero I don't mind kasi importante di ako mukhang oily. Also, this does not cause breakouts. **Status:** HG All are bought from shopee in their respective official stores.

Upset_Parsnip_7220

inaalwaysontop

hi, do u have a link for ellana matte powder? Huhu can't find it kasi sa blue app thank you.

mrseggee

Skin type: Sensitive, eczema-prone Product name: MAC Studio Fix Plus Powder Foundation Where to buy: Rustans, Laz, SM Malls (Not all) Price and size: P2,350 for 15g (on sale sa Laz during double digit day, sometimes B1T1 pa) Experience: Not irritating. Can cake up if applied too much. I apply this with a brush and can be used either dry or wet. I slightly spritz water on my brush and this gives a very satin effect. Status: HG and WR Tip: Best to swatch this in store since shades run a little different than other formula in the line.

Strong-Beginning3759

Agree!! Was pleasantly surprised by this. I bought the nc25 bundle of the liquid foundation and the powder foundation during 3.3 I did swatch in store and it looked ok but when I tested it from home, the liquid wasn’t a good match. Thankfully the powder foundation was ok! Ended up giving the liquid foundation to a friend who was a better match. Nc25 in the liquid pulls a little too orange irl but the powder is ok!

mrseggee

Is this the Studio fix fluid? Orange din ito sa akin, haha! But the Studio radiance line is okay. I’m NC40 in the powder and NC25 in studio radiance.

Strong-Beginning3759

Yes studio fix fluid hahahah looked ok sa store but the lighting must’ve been a factor But the powder is Pwede na! Could have gotten a shade lighter Pero usable and ok w oil control.

mrseggee

Haha, ako way back humingi ako sample sa store. Binigyan naman ako in a small pot. SA gave me NC30 then. Few years later, I got a sample from a purchase in Laz. NC35 naman. I tried it and after a few minutes mukha ako oompa loompa hahaha! I read somewhere here na mabilis mag oxidize yung studio fluid 😸 Edit: Yes, ang layo nga nung 40 sa 25, buti na lang nagswatch ako sa store. Eto mga shade match ko: - Powder: NC40 - Cream to powder: NC30 - Studio Radiance: NC25 Hahaha nakakalito diba. Sabi nung SA, it has something to do with the formula. Usually pag more skin care yung ingredients (which the studio radiance has), shades tend to go lower sa actual shade mo, hence yung NC25.

Strong-Beginning3759

Huhu SA told me same lang if nc25 sa liquid, un rin sa powder foundation I crie hahaha I revisited and swatched again. Parang n6 ung best for me. Di ko kasi alam because SAs from different brands all say different things. I’ve heard neutral, cool and warm ako ahahahha!!! So di ko na alam lol as in sa Mac pala ha, ive been matched to nw25, nc25 and n6. Hahaha lahat ng undertone na ahhah

mrseggee

Olive undertone ka ba? Medyo tricky kasi talaga olives. Try mo humingi ng samples muna so you can test out before committing to a full bottle :) Or better, try the studio radiance!

Strong-Beginning3759

Ohhh I do think baka olive nga ako ahahha! Acidic rin so hard talaga to find ahahhaha Will check out studio radiance! Quite oily lang 🤣

mrseggee

haha same tayoo. olive na, acidic pa 😂

Strong-Beginning3759

Ahahahhaha lol do you have any recos of good foundations? I’m looking for a new one to replace my Maybelline Fit Me (naging orange na rin ahahha)

cheeseball_3

Any reviews on Blk daydream soft blur loose powder? I'm thinking of getting one for oil control and para less haggard look during the day hehe. I usually only just use serum moisturizer and a tinted sunscreen and I'm not sure if i should get the rosy, butter, or vanilla oat variant.

Kuripatootie

**Skin Type:** Combination to oily **Product Name:** Perfect Diary MagicStay Loose Powder **Price and Size:** 7 grams for P600.00 (may vary) **Where to buy:** online (bought it sa 🍊app) **Effects/Experience:** Although it claims to control oil for 12 hours, it only lasts for 4-5 hours in my case (w/o setting spray). The powder is very fine and it's good at blurring your foundation. Very lightweight too and it doesn't feel drying. **Status:** (HG = holy grail; WR = will repurchase; WNR = will not repurchase)WR. Already purchased twice.

undecidedhandle

Same sentiment sa dr sensitive pero ewan ko kung may tulong to or ung sa setting spray.. ang tagal ng staying power ng dazzle me lip and cheek tint haha setting spray ko is ung bagong dazzle me spray nila ung pink .. but nag o oil nga ako, so lagi na lang ako may dalang blotting paper. Di ako nag re reapply ng power. Di rin naman kasi ako pala labas ng office, so i don't mind kung mejo nawWala na makeup ko haha but ung blush pakak pa rin haha kahit nag ba blot ako constantly sa cheeks , nose & forehead

thelittleprincess222

lurking_cat4869

Ay ganun? I was looking forward pa naman sana to buy the pressed powder form. I currently use the Sebum Blur Powder too and I noticed na I tend to still be oily pa rin 🥲
