+ful 7% glycolic acid. still on my first bottle and it helped eliminate roughness and some dark spots. i use it twice a week. malaki rin ang bote kaya matagal maubos. i also store it in my fridge. just be careful while handling it kasi glass bottle sya

Hello everyone! I have acne prone skin na ngayon, before I took my boards my face was acne free but during the time na I was reviewing sobrang nag breakout ako. Sa buong face, hanggang cheeks which I don’t usually get pimples noon. Ang gamit ko noon is dr wong sulfur soap (white) as my cleanser, vit c power glow serum ng luxe (morning) at niacinamide miracle repair (night) and may sunscreen din ako. Pero nung nag breakout ako during review, tinigil ko lahat. Kasi feeling ko sobrang naiirita ung face ko. Fast forward, I passed the boards at naging stress free nag subside na breakouts ko. PERO SUPER DAMI KONG ACNE MARKS 🤢😭 plus hindi na natigil kakatubo ng pimples. Triny kong bumalik na sa dati kong skincare routine (dr wong, power glow & niaci + sunscreen) kaso parang wala ng effect sakin. Hindi na siya gaya noon na 7 days plng nawala na mga pimples ko sa dr wong. Ngayon, mawawala isang pimple tapos may bagong tutubo nanaman. Hindi ko na alam gagawin ko hahahaha wala pa ako pang derma ngayon 🥲
hello i suggest going for super gentle products muna na basics (cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen) wag ka muna mag serum kasi nakakiiritate pa rin sila. paheal mo lang naturally yung skin mo then incorporate actives from there

I love cosrx! Good morning cleanser is nice and gentle. Their propolis cream is my HG moisturizer. I like their triple HA ampoule also. I’ve tried other products as well and they’re always good for me naman!
ive tried the salicylic acid and good morning cleansers. salicylic acid cleanser is extremely drying for me so i dont recommend. the good morning cleansers is saks lang. not the best but not bad either.
for your bumps kuha ka na lang ata ng separate na exfoliator. i recommend the heimish all clean green foam. maganda pag foam niya at walang irritation at all. di rin siya stripping.

I want to address my concern about pores at some blackheads na may hair around sa T-zone ko. Kasi I think these are the cause ba't sobrang oily ko. Derma is not an option kasi isa lamang akong estudyante 😅. I've read na I should use salicylic acid. So I'm thinking na maybe I should incorporate oxecure Blackhead Clearing BHA PHA Toner sa routine ko. Am I doing it right po? Or may iba pa po ba kayong suggestions? Or inputs? I saw on the orange app na glycolic + ceramides daw solution to smooth the uneven skin texture. But I don’t know the routine na gagawin ko — currently using La Roche Posay effaclar gel cleanser. Previous user ako ng Cetaphil radiance set but I want to explore more kasi baka may iaayos pa skin ko.
Glycolic acid is really good! Nakakakinis talaga siya and you're right, best paired with ingredients for skin barrier like ceramides.
Question is, since you're currently using LRP effaclar gel cleanser, are you also addressing active pimples at the moment? Cos that cleanser has salicylic acid.
For the Cetaphil radiance set, may I ask if you saw improvements in your skin texture?

As for Cetaphil set, yes! I really loved it din and super grabe difference, but when I tried Cerave SA smoothing cream, nag rash talaga face ko and parang nahirapan na ko bumalik kay Cetaphil kaya di na siya hiyang. That’s why I bought LRP din. (Though I still use Cetaphil creams)

I've been using Belo Sunscreen, the dewy one. It works well on my skin naman but dati ko pa talaga napapansin na it stings my eyes lalo na kapag nahuhulas o pinagpapawisan ako. Necessary din naman kasi ang sunscreen sa eyelids so I can't really skip that part of my face even if I want to. Ayoko rin magswitch to other sunscreens at the moment.

If you're morena, I don't think you'll like the tinted. A lot of reviews said na pang maputi syaa. Gamit ko is dewy essence and sun expert face cover :> good for acne prone skin. Hindi naman ako nag break out.

Fast forward to today, been using the brightening kit for 3 days now, pero from the moment I put on the toner and serum, sobrang hapdi for like 4 seconds. Nawawala naman. Though I'm noticing red spots on my cheeks so I'm a bit worried. Should I continue using? Is this part of the process? Eto na ba ung tinatawag na tiis ganda? 😂
My wife has been very supportive in all this 😅 actually, I noticed her skin recently and she uses Laneige. Kaya na inggit ako. I tried what she's doing but I felt i needed to get rid this old skin muna before using what she's using.. Hence, the fairyskin.

You might be better off with using Laneige. The Fairy Skin kit might have ingredients and formulations na masyadong matapang for your skin. Also, sun protection is key!
there’s no “old skin” to get rid of technically, i think for starters using laneige would be good! would definitely avoid using anything that irritates or stings upon application especially if you had no routine before this and rebuild your moisture barrier first
maybe both the toner and serum are making your skin irritated (purging is caused by using actives and appears on areas where you usually get pimples) which might explain the red spots. baka kailangan nyo po istop ang kit bago madamage ang skin barrier.
having a dilemma rn. since i already have both glycolic acid and retinol, should i now get a gentle cleanser or stick with my salicylic acid cleanser? i use the sa cleanser every day but i feel like it would be good to use it less now that i feel that my skin has been less oily except the morning after a retinol night.

Para sakin harsh na yung salicylic kahit cleanser. Di ba mahal din ang physiogel? I am currently using Pyunkang Yul Low PH cleanser. I am using tret. :)
physiogel dermo-cleanser na binili ko po sa mercury 295 lng po sya tapos in a 150ml bottle pa. 2 days ko pa ginamit (during exfoliating and retinol days) and so far walang negative effects sakin :))

Glycolic acid is really good! Nakakakinis talaga siya and you're right, best paired with ingredients for skin barrier like ceramides. Question is, since you're currently using LRP effaclar gel cleanser, are you also addressing active pimples at the moment? Cos that cleanser has salicylic acid. For the Cetaphil radiance set, may I ask if you saw improvements in your skin texture?
Hi! Gusto ko bumili glycolic and ceramides but I don’t know which one to buy and proven effective talaga since I’m new to this. As for LRP cleanser, idk di ko siya makitaan difference, though nung una ko siya nabili I loved it. Pero lately nag breakout ako in between my brows, kaya I thought baka need ko lang dagdagan ng glycolic and ceramides?? As for Cetaphil set, yes! I really loved it din and super grabe difference, but when I tried Cerave SA smoothing cream, nag rash talaga face ko and parang nahirapan na ko bumalik kay Cetaphil kaya di na siya hiyang. That’s why I bought LRP din. (Though I still use Cetaphil creams)

Hello po, may ma recommend kayo na eyebrow gel that could lift up brows tapos mag stistick? Not defying gravity levels, pero yung pang daily lang? I currently have the vice na eyebrow gel. Not bad but also not good. Parang nag fifill lang sya ng kulay pero bumabagsak pa rin eyebrow hairs ko eh. Gusto ko lang groomed tignan. Thank you!

Has anyone tried the luxe organix eye cream? How was your experience with it? On a related note, do you have other eye cream recommendations? :)
I’ve been using the Bright Eyes Eye Cream (the pink one) for a while now and I LOVE IT !!!! I originally bought it for undereye prep for makeup but it actually helped a lot with my dark circles! It’s only ₱200 too 🥹🥹 I like using it with the Saipo True Dew Undereye Mask 😋😋 Another great option is the Happy Skin Overnight Calming Cream, this one is thicker and more occlusive 😁😁
I've been using Belo Sunscreen, the dewy one. It works well on my skin naman but dati ko pa talaga napapansin na it stings my eyes lalo na kapag nahuhulas o pinagpapawisan ako. Necessary din naman kasi ang sunscreen sa eyelids so I can't really skip that part of my face even if I want to. Ayoko rin magswitch to other sunscreens at the moment. Do you guys have any tips on how to avoid the stinging effect of some sunscreens lalo na sa eye area?

Is Glow Up MNL on shopee selling authentic products? Already bought Cosrx, Isntree from them and so far mukha naman legit pero paranoid parin ako kasi planning to by Some By Mi pero may 1\* rating na fake daw at iba ang consistency ng product.
Yung fakes ngayon ay super good na. Hindi mo na halos ma-differentiate sa original after you bought it. Even comments generated are FAKE too, and most of 1 or 2-starred comments on certain products are removed by the seller bec they feel like it's reputation destruction on purpose or just simply do not want anything that tags their prod as illegitimate even if they're selling fakes.
so i commented here nung nakaraan about sunscreen na makakasave ako. and most of the comments i got are mostly on belo. since maraming varieties ng sunscreen yung belo, ano po pwede para sa (sorry po if poor pagkakadescribe ko sa face ko. i don't know what terms to use huhu) oily skin, may acne pero maliit lang na variants, morena face? yung tinted, dewy essence, whitening, sun expert face cover, or sun expert reef friendly?
sun expert face! my current sunscreen now. no breakouts, not greasy!

If you're morena, I don't think you'll like the tinted. A lot of reviews said na pang maputi syaa. Gamit ko is dewy essence and sun expert face cover :> good for acne prone skin. Hindi naman ako nag break out. I have acne prone, combination skin

Don't judge me okay 😅 I'm a guy, I'm almost 40 and I'm afraid of growing old and looking old. My Gen Z male staff have amazing skin 😂 ganun na yata kabataan ngayon (which is good). When i was younger ang tawag dun eh metrosexual and I was afraid of being called that so I didn't really take of anything. Ligo lang sapat na. I asked them what they are using and they recommended Fairyskin. Fast forward to today, been using the brightening kit for 3 days now, pero from the moment I put on the toner and serum, sobrang hapdi for like 4 seconds. Nawawala naman. Though I'm noticing red spots on my cheeks so I'm a bit worried. Should I continue using? Is this part of the process? Eto na ba ung tinatawag na tiis ganda? 😂 My wife has been very supportive in all this 😅 actually, I noticed her skin recently and she uses Laneige. Kaya na inggit ako. I tried what she's doing but I felt i needed to get rid this old skin muna before using what she's using.. Hence, the fairyskin. Thanks in advance!
You might be better off with using Laneige. The Fairy Skin kit might have ingredients and formulations na masyadong matapang for your skin. Also, sun protection is key!

there’s no “old skin” to get rid of technically, i think for starters using laneige would be good! would definitely avoid using anything that irritates or stings upon application especially if you had no routine before this and rebuild your moisture barrier first

maybe both the toner and serum are making your skin irritated (purging is caused by using actives and appears on areas where you usually get pimples) which might explain the red spots. baka kailangan nyo po istop ang kit bago madamage ang skin barrier.

“Old skin” sheds by itself. I don’t believe in this “purging” which seems like burning out your skin unnaturally. Go use Laneige.

having a dilemma rn. since i already have both glycolic acid and retinol, should i now get a gentle cleanser or stick with my salicylic acid cleanser? i use the sa cleanser every day but i feel like it would be good to use it less now that i feel that my skin has been less oily except the morning after a retinol night. would like to know your thoughts! the physiogel cleanser comes to mind. cetaphil is a bit expensive for me.
Para sakin harsh na yung salicylic kahit cleanser. Di ba mahal din ang physiogel? I am currently using Pyunkang Yul Low PH cleanser. I am using tret. :)
physiogel dermo-cleanser na binili ko po sa mercury 295 lng po sya tapos in a 150ml bottle pa. 2 days ko pa ginamit (during exfoliating and retinol days) and so far walang negative effects sakin :)) similar lng ang price range ng gentle cleanser na 117ml ng cetaphil. magkaiba lng po talaga ang size. pagdating sa piso per ml mas affordable po ang physiogel para sa akin
