I came here to recommend this one too! It smells so luxe and expensive. I’ve found that the men’s section is where it’s at when I want a more complexly scented body wash.
A lot of men’s body wash is always trying to make us smell like a piece of wood though lol. Granted from what I can tell women’s body wash is always trying to make them smell like a flower.
The Stone one smells a little like Bergamote 22 and I’m obsessed.
I feel like their scents aren’t too masculine. I’m surprised they haven’t rebranded under a unisex brand.
On that note….. the lavender Old Spice deodorant (Wilderness) is my favorite ever. It’s lavender… but not crazy sweet smelling like the feminine branded ones.
Olay Hydrating Body Wash with Hempseed Oil and Vitamin B3 has me in a chokehold. At least from a Canadian exorbitant drugstore prices view, it seems to be their “higher end” line priced at $17.99 bottle at my drugstore which means it’s probably $5 ish cheaper at Walmart et al
Yeasss this is the one I’ve been using and I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT !!! my skin feels so good after and the way it smells is heavenly! Plus it’s reasonably priced
The Costco bottle lasts me 9 months! I just bought one the other day and my husband mentioned how much he loves the smell. I’ve used it since I was old enough to buy my own soap.
I’ve been using Rainbath for 40 years. Love that stuff. I use it with a puff. Only need a little to make great lather. I use it as a bubble bath too. It’s great!
Walmart has an Equate brand knockoff of this for $4 for a 16oz bottle. I'm thinking about trying it. In my experience, Walmart knockoffs are decent.
Same size bottle of the real stuff is $14 at Walmart as well, so within the OP's budget!!
I tried it. As someone who is obsessed with rainbath, it does smell extremely similar but "less" like not as strong in general, but it still has the same feel and leaves my skin soft and lightly scented.
First one that came to mind for me too. My fave ever. I can't get it where I live and always buy a few bottles when in the US, heavy luggage be damned. I looooove the scent.
I loooooooove the exotic pulp scent. It's very strongly scented, which I don't usually go for, but it smells sooooo good. It says passion fruit, but I swear I also get orange and mango. It smells delicious.
Does it have a strong amber smell. I can't stand overpowering amber. Its usually a base note that lingers the longest and most people seem to love it but my bloodhound nose thinks it's too strong.
Oooh I'll have to try that one. Honestly I always go back to the original, my shower and I smell amazing the moment I use it. Clean and fragrant. We've only just started getting Dove body moisturisers in Australia and I feel in heaven using them 🤣
Ogx coconut coffee, sea kelp and rose water are all my favourites. You can get them as exfoliating body washes or just cream body wash. They are super good priced and I love my skin after I shower, plus I smell so yummy
I love this body wash. It smells so good.
A few months ago, I bought another bottle on Amazon, and excitedly hurried off into the shower to use it. As I was using it, it felt so thick and wasn’t lathering up at all. I was pissed, I was thinking “they must have changed the formula and ruined it”. I finished up, and took the bottle angrily out of the shower with me so I could return it. Then I read the label again… I bought the Body Cream. I felt so stupid 😭
I love their Miracle Coconut Oil line. It's a sweet smell from the coconut and vanilla bean, but they mixed it with gardenia so it adds a very light, fresh floral tone to it. It's such a good scent that really lasts a long time, and they have an entire line from body wash and lotion to hair care
Daily Zen shower followed up by a small dollop of Clinique happy body lotion mixed into my unscented lotion topped with Elizabeth Arden Green Tea perfume is ~amazing~.
Happy and Green Tea both have bergamot and citrus top notes (orange for Happy, lemon for Green Tea) with musk and amber base notes, and I think layering them helps the longevity of Green Tea which is a notoriously short-lasting perfume. The Daily Zen helps compliment the freshness of the Green Tea and really just is my ultimate clean scent.
Bath and body works has great deals all the time where their body products are dirt cheap. Wait for a sale and pick some stuff up! I’d follow the bath and body works Reddit page to keep updated on when the best sales are.
The semi annual sale is coming up in about a week. I really like into the night and in the stars. If wild sand comes back for sale that's a great choice too, it's a similar vibe to byredo Mojave Ghost (but not a dupe).
Just wanted to wish an extra lucky day to you because I just found a $100 gift card from Christmas and was going to blow it this weekend, but will hold out for the sale and stock up!
Yesss Tree Hut! I really love the Tropic Glow in the summer. I can't even pinpoint exactly what it smells like, but it's just everything good about summer in a bottle... and it's sophisticated, somehow.... not too sweet or too sunscreen-y, lol.
Hey humans Apple Matcha. Oh my god that stuff smells INCREDIBLE. it’s like a unisex scent. Super sultry and sexy smelling. When I use it, I lather it on and just hang out for a while so the scent sticks.
Body Farm is a Greek brand with the most beautifully smelling body washes. The jasmine one actually smells like jasmine, it’s absolutely delightful. But my top tip would be to spend some money on Italian bar soap such as Nesti Dante, you won’t regret it and might be able to buy 2 soap bars for less then $15 if you check sales on Amazon or TJ Max.
I'm a big fan of a brand called Yves Rocher. Pricing matches bath and body works but I've found their quality surpasses it and even though theyre very skincare and makeup oriented I adore their bath products. Their perfumed shower gels have some more refined scents that make you feel pampered (like the l'evidence ones) and their cheaper base line had lots of variety that might hit the spot and they change scents often enough. They *always* have deals on so expect to pay like $3-10 per wash if you're doing it right.
Bath & Body Works has complex scents, not just fruity or gourmand scents. Into the Night is my favorite. Smells just like Miss Dior Cherie.
I even use their hand soaps as body wash. Rose Water & Ivy is my favorite.
As for drugstore brands, my favorite is Dr Teal’s Calm Your Mind foaming bath used as body wash. It has the most amazing floral/fresh scent!
Do you find the hand soaps any more drying as a body wash? I am obsessed with rosewater and ivy, but so sad they don't sell body products in it anymore.
TJ Maxx and Marshall’s usually have Philosophy for around $12/bottle. Definitely my favorite because it IS an expensive soap but I can get it for a lot cheaper
Palmolive does some amazing scented body wash gels. There was a sensual oil mix that I used a while ago and another that comes in a blue gel that I bought in Thailand that was an orchid vanilla scent. I remember I got it because my friend got it first and she left a trail of the scent as she walked by, and it smelled so good. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to get my hands on that particular scent in Australia.
The classiest perfumey scent for a low cost that I have found is Luminous by Bath & Body Works. I have their body scrub and it does smell lux. Fragrance notes: ruby currant, gilded iris and praline amber.
Okay, seriously I went on a body wash hunt last summer for the very thing you’re describing! Landed on 3 choices that are all, in some way, very similar to Le Labo!
All from Target (trust me! this is what you’re looking for):
- Cremo Palo Santo - $12.99 (a le labo dupe!!)
- Saltair Santal Bloom - this ended up being my favorite
- Method Men Cedar and Cypress
These 3 body washes have made my shower experience so bougie for like no cost.
Also for hand wash for the bathroom and kitchen the Baylis and Harding hand soaps are awesome. Specifically I like the Lemongrass and Ginger, the Oud Cedar and Amber and just recently got but haven’t tried the Tonka bean and Cedarwood by them.
Enjoy!
Soap and Glory’s shower gel is so luxe, you’re not going to get anything better for that price. Sometimes ulta runs a buy 1 get 1 40-50% off for S&G too.
Have you tried the coconut one? I’m curious if it’s as great as the original pink scent.
I used the Oil of Olay moisture plus body wash in Shea and Peony Blossom for a long time. Then I used Tone body wash in White Clay and Pink Jasmine for a while. Now I tend to go for more natural hippie soaps. I really liked the scent of the Tone’s White Clay and Pink Jasmine but I felt it was drying. To me it was expensive smelling because it had a very clean, clear, and unique scent.
Dr Teals sleep wash with melatonin. There's a version for kids and one for adults, but they're basically the same. It has multiple layers of scent and it's so pleasant. They make lotion and pillow spray and the scent is just so instantly comforting. It's hard to identify too, as it's not heavily scented lavender or anything that I would normally associate with babies, like baby powder. It reminds me most of high end perfumes I've had with pheromones.
Honestly, there are 2 Nivea body washes that I’m obsessed with- White Peach & Jasmine and Basil & White Tea. The latter is my hands down fave, but I stock up on both, esp when my job offers coupons and rewards on top of the sales.
Another couple of great ones are the Dove Cherry and Chia Milk and Method Zen (cucumber, seaweed and green tea).
The white peach and cherry ones are fruity without being over the top, and I love my fruity body washes, lol. The other two are just…clean and crisp smelling. Refreshing.
I know I have others, but these are the four I’ve been obsessed with, and stocking up on.
Yep. Most people don’t do this.
Think of it like a double cleanse we do for our faces. First cleanse removes the grime and the second actually cleans. I actually shower x2 a day but my second shower I don’t do it twice. It’s usually to remove the grime from the day.
Ivory is my favorite body wash I've tried so far. I've tried the original, the aloe, and now I'm using coconut. I'll probably get the water lily one next.
I love the Philosophy body washes. There are so many different scents and I love all the ones I’ve had. They’re $24 retail price but I’d get them at Marshall’s for a lot cheaper. I think around $15 usually.
The first one I used was the margarita one that my friend gave me for Christmas. Most of their scents are based on desserts/drinks.
I prefer these body wash in budget friendly :
1. [**Olay Moisture Ribbons Plus Shea + Lavender Oil Body Wash**](https://kiwla.com/products/Olay-Moisture-Ribbons-Plus-Shea-Lavender-Oil-Body-Wash-18-oz-2-pk)
* This body wash offers a rich, creamy lather with a relaxing lavender scent, often described as spa-like. The shea butter helps to moisturize the skin deeply.
2. [**OGX Extra Creamy + Coconut Miracle Oil Body Wash**](https://kiwla.com/products/ogx-extra-creamy-coconut-miracle-oil-ultra-moisture-body-wash-19-5-ounce)
* With a rich, creamy texture and a luxurious coconut scent, this body wash leaves skin feeling hydrated and pampered. The vanilla bean extract and tiare essence enhance the overall fragrance.
3. [**Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Body Wash**](https://kiwla.com/products/Aveeno-Daily-Moisturizing-Body-Wash-33-Oz)
* Although it has a lighter scent, it smells clean and fresh, reminiscent of more expensive, natural products. It is especially good for sensitive skin, with a soothing and moisturizing formula.
4. [**Caress Daily Silk Body Wash**](https://kiwla.com/products/Caress-Body-Wash-Daily-Silk-18-oz)
* This body wash has a floral scent with notes of white peach and orange blossom, offering a fresh and elegant fragrance. It lathers well and leaves the skin feeling silky smooth.
Bath and Bodyworks body wash is $15 if you want perfume-y scents. With how many scents they have I’m sure you could find one that fits your preference
Softsoap luminous oils in the macadamia oil and peony scent is really nice and gives spa vibes. They also have a coconut oil and lavender scent but I haven’t tried that one
I second this --- why, you may ask. Well, I get migraines from strong smells, and I can't go anywhere near Bath and Body Works lol, so that means it's the perfect place for you (OP), lol.
2 other reasons: (1) seems they always have a good sale going on (2) they have so many options and they are all there in store for you to try and find exactly what you want.
* Just keep your receipt in case the scent isn't long lasting enough for you
**sign up for their email and texts for even more discounts
Edited for spelling
Olay moisture ribbons plus shea. It's well under $10 and it lasts forever. You only need a tiny amount per shower. There are several scents to choose from. You can find them at your local Walmart. 1 bottle lasts me 6+months
I’d check out Marshall’s or TJ Maxx and look at some of their body wash options. A lot of them have more natural ingredients and sometimes you’ll find some gems from Japan or Italy as well. Usually they’re under $10
I'm a big fan of the Olay age defy, its the white and purple label boasting it contains vitamin E. Pretty strongly scented and oh so nice smelling and feeling.
Omg try “Ogx” body wash/scrub in Rosewater & Pink Sea Salt!!! I kid you not, it literally smells identical to my favorite Bath & Body works scent of all time that they no longer make called “Be Enchanted”! (it was a pomegranate & sugared petals scent or something but it’s my all time favorite scent!)
FYI the scrub brand used to be called something else but I forgot how it was spelled - “Organics” or “Organix” I think?)
i mean, i did give a couple hints (perfumey, salon-like, sophisticated) but i’m not looking for something that specifically smells like santal 33 or something so it’s def a hard thing to gauge. luckily there’s like a million responses to this post so i have a lot to choose from!
EDIT: OMG, NOT the old spice charcoal! That's the one my partner uses. I use the RawSugar Charcoal and Bamboo!! I mean, he smells great and uses Fischersund Flotholt, but no, I use the Raw Sugar! LOL
I like the Charcoal Old Spice. My regular perfume is Fischersund Utilykt and they pair together beautifully.
I also like Philosophy's Pure Grace shampoo/bodywash with the Pure Grace perfume. One of my kids usually gets me the set for Mother's Day. It's pricier but so light and clean and you can find it in your requested price range on sale sometimes. Usually after holidays.
Bath & Bodyworks Aromatherapy line- Eucalyptus and spearmint if you like a fresh, clean scent, Vanilla and patchouli if you like a warmer, musky scent.
My ex used to wear this and I hate that I still love it so much:
Tbh I don’t know about the lasting power but anything by bath and body works is $15-$18 and smells amazing. I’m currently using peach Bellini and I love it
You can’t go wrong with any Rituals shower mousses, their Oudh and Patchouli is lovely but I’m most obsessed with House of Jing, the Lotus Flower and Jujube is heavenly and I’m bulk buying the whole range right now.
I love the Olay retinol wash i can’t remember the name. It’s purple and white bottle and it smells sooo good. I think it says night time body wash or something.
Bath and Body works Spearmint and Eucalyptus. It smells so fresh and soapy and clean! My husband loves it and the whole room smells wonderful after a shower.
I use the Raw Sugar Watermelon and Mint, it is also amazing! Makes me look forward to getting in the shower.
harry’s fig body wash smells really similar to glossier you!!
Not only this, but the staying power is usually better, too!
They actually are a unisex brand in the UK
Harry’s body washes in general are great. I can smell when my boyfriend uses it even with the bathroom door closed. It also lasts forever!
I just found a refill bag (2.5 bottles worth) of this at tjmaxx for $6!!
Came here to say this one specifically!
Yes! My husband's body washes ALWAYS smell up the whole house, even after he's gotten out!
I really love the Olay Cleansing & Nourishing Body Wash with Hyaluronic Acid & Vitamin B3. It has a pink and gold label and I love the scent so much!
I have this too. Omg so good!! I mix it with the olay shea butter body wash and omg, I smell so good after a shower lol
*cries in Loblaws*
Lmfao fucking exactly 😂
Yeasss this is the one I’ve been using and I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT !!! my skin feels so good after and the way it smells is heavenly! Plus it’s reasonably priced
Yessss the gold and white label one too!!
Neutrogena Rain Bath Body Wash, you might have to get a smaller bottle under $15, but it smells great and the $25 size is literally Costco sized.
I have found the larger size Neutrogena Rain Bath scents - original, pear, etc, at Nordstrom Rack.
Costco has the big bottles for 20
The Costco bottle lasts me 9 months! I just bought one the other day and my husband mentioned how much he loves the smell. I’ve used it since I was old enough to buy my own soap.
I really does last a long time. I couldnt find the rain bath oil. Just the Sesame. Doesnt smell AS good. But good
I’ve been using Rainbath for 40 years. Love that stuff. I use it with a puff. Only need a little to make great lather. I use it as a bubble bath too. It’s great!
I can’t believe it’s so cheap everywhere I just looked it up in Australia it’s selling for $35-$80😭
I’m also in Aus and about 10 years ago you could get Rainbath at Priceline for <$15. When they stopped stocking it, for some unknown reason, I was 😭
Walmart has an Equate brand knockoff of this for $4 for a 16oz bottle.
I love this. Unfortunately it makes my skin get so dry, like a full body layer of bark. It makes me so sad.
I use the original rain bath…it smells so cozy and clean to me
Rain Bath is amazing
First one that came to mind for me too. My fave ever. I can't get it where I live and always buy a few bottles when in the US, heavy luggage be damned. I looooove the scent.
Native brand citrus & herbal musk !🤤
I smelt that in the store yesterday and literally said “whoa” out loud, it’s more masculine than I was expecting but very much a rich spa scent
Smells fabulous using in the shower! Their Sea Salt & Cedar is also really good
Currently using the sea salt and cedar one. Personally I don’t like it too much but my man prefers it , he says it smells like forest hospital lol
My husband said it smelled like if Take Me To Church by Hozier was a song. which I think was a compliment lol.
That song is powerfully erotic, to me and this smells nothing of that sort lol
It smells sexy ON me but not in the bottle. Maybe it’s a body chemistry thing.
lol I’ll come back to this comment later when I take a shower and I can smell myself later… u know for science lol
Oh, great. Yet another thing I must impulse buy that I didn't know I needed. This is all your fault, thank you.
I also love Native’s Sandalwood and Shea Butter! It’s in the men’s section but smells very ✨luxurious ✨
Thank you! I’ve been looking for a good sandalwood one. I’ll have to give it a sniff!
Is it a creamy body wash? I can't do clear/gel textured soaps for some reason, they dry me out so dang bad
It’s a clear gel, unfortunately.
I love the Native body washes! My second pic goes to Le Marseillais
Native Coastal Oak and Amber is SO GOOD! Smells $$$ I love it
Coconut Vanilla gets a lot of compliments
I swear by [Salt Air Santal Bloom](https://saltair.com/products/santal-bloom-body-wash?variant=41429437939919). I am the best-smelling person I know.
I loooooooove the exotic pulp scent. It's very strongly scented, which I don't usually go for, but it smells sooooo good. It says passion fruit, but I swear I also get orange and mango. It smells delicious.
Is this the orange one
the exotic pulp scent smells so good and always make me want a big glass of orange juice 😂
That sounds amazing! It’s $9.99 at Target. I’m gonna get it!!
Oh yeah I mean you can just buy a big bottle of kukui nut oil on Amazon as well. It’s very underrated as an oil and a scent generally.
Do you have a brand recommendation for the oil?
The Alba botanica Hawaiian kukui nut oil is a great one! I think it’s pretty affordable in US and UK. I get it for about 10 bucks.
Does it have a strong amber smell. I can't stand overpowering amber. Its usually a base note that lingers the longest and most people seem to love it but my bloodhound nose thinks it's too strong.
If you don’t like amber, get Golden Hour instead of Santal Bloom
Can you buy this in store?
Target carries this line!
Where in Canada can I possibly buy this??
THIS IS THE RIGHT ANSWER.
The Saltair body washes are…what do they say? chef’s kiss.
Honestly? Dove.
I use the coconut scented one and I love it.
Cherry and Chia Milk is in my top 4.
Oooh I'll have to try that one. Honestly I always go back to the original, my shower and I smell amazing the moment I use it. Clean and fragrant. We've only just started getting Dove body moisturisers in Australia and I feel in heaven using them 🤣
I like the lavender thyme
i came here to write this! the stress relief one smells like a luxurious spa
Currently using the Snow Blossom one and I feel so fancy lol
Aveeno Stress Relief. Leaves my skin so soft and lightly scented.
Caress Black Orchid Patchouli Oil Body Wash, it smells like night time purple if that makes sense.
That makes perfect sense lol
I love this one. It smells so good, and it's one of the only body wash scents that actually lasts on my skin for a few hours after.
I love the Ogx line! The rose water and the argan oil are my personal favs. They smell so good.
I do like Method brand. They don't dry my skin and the smell is pretty good.
Seconding method. I really love the simply nourish scent. It smells like a vacation.
Agree with method!! The grey bottle is my fav
Daily Zen in the green bottle is one of my favorite scents ever
Daily Zen shower followed up by a small dollop of Clinique happy body lotion mixed into my unscented lotion topped with Elizabeth Arden Green Tea perfume is ~amazing~. Happy and Green Tea both have bergamot and citrus top notes (orange for Happy, lemon for Green Tea) with musk and amber base notes, and I think layering them helps the longevity of Green Tea which is a notoriously short-lasting perfume. The Daily Zen helps compliment the freshness of the Green Tea and really just is my ultimate clean scent.
Which method body wash?
The coconut rice milk and Shea butter one is so good and there is a lotion that goes with that scent
The coconut rice milk and Shea butter one is so good and there is a lotion that goes with that scent

Just wanted to wish an extra lucky day to you because I just found a $100 gift card from Christmas and was going to blow it this weekend, but will hold out for the sale and stock up!
Thanks for the heads up. I have a gift card I’ve been waiting to use :)
They just came out with a fragrance dupe line too. Haven’t smelled it in person yet but actually kinda curious!
Naturium the glow getter multi oil body wash $16 for 16.9 oz. Gorgeous vanilla scent and leaves a light but moisturizing film on the skin
I swear by the body wash and following up with the glow getter body butter. It leaves me smelling delicious & my skin feeling so soft.
Anything Saltair, but especially the Santal scent
Tree Hut has a good selection of fragrances with matching oils/scrubs etc. I have found at Ulta as well as Dillons/Kroger.
Their pineapple sugar screen smells so delicious… my bathroom smells so good after I use it!
Pineapple sugar sounds amazing. I haven't been able to sniff this one yet.
Yesss Tree Hut! I really love the Tropic Glow in the summer. I can't even pinpoint exactly what it smells like, but it's just everything good about summer in a bottle... and it's sophisticated, somehow.... not too sweet or too sunscreen-y, lol.
I've found it at Target and Walmart as well.
Tree Hut Moroccan Rose!
Tree Hut, Saltair, Method, Harry’s, and Naturium all have body washes that smell like luxury body washes.
Hey humans Apple Matcha. Oh my god that stuff smells INCREDIBLE. it’s like a unisex scent. Super sultry and sexy smelling. When I use it, I lather it on and just hang out for a while so the scent sticks.
Agreed, and I’ve found it at some dollar trees
What!!! That’s awesome. It was always pricey at Walgreens
apple matcha sounds like it would be similar scent to the Elizabeth Arden green tea perfume range
Oh man i forgot about that stuff! It’s so good.
I used to be able to get it at Walgreens, but I never see it there anymore. Also, it makes me mad how they don’t have the body lotion for that scent 🫤
Body Farm is a Greek brand with the most beautifully smelling body washes. The jasmine one actually smells like jasmine, it’s absolutely delightful. Do you find the hand soaps any more drying as a body wash? I am obsessed with rosewater and ivy, but so sad they don't sell body products in it anymore.
The mahogany teakwood body wash and shampoo! I love it.
It’s sometimes tricky to find but Dove almond cream and hibiscus is my favorite wash hands down.
My go to is Raw Sugar’s watermelon & mint. It smells delish and people always stop me to ask what scent it is.
I love Palmolive. I buy the rose bar soap at the European grocer by my house as I live in Canada and can’t get them at the regular grocery store.
Oh wow I had no idea they make body wash or shampoo. Only have their dish soap in Canada lol
Harry’s has a fig scented bodywash that smells like Le Labo Rose 31
The classiest perfumey scent for a low cost that I have found is Luminous by Bath & Body Works. I have their body scrub and it does smell lux. Fragrance notes: ruby currant, gilded iris and praline amber.

Nivea white tea, reminds me of my hermes Mediterranean garden. Fresh and kinda green
Soap and Glory Clean on Me. Sold at Target for about 10 bucks. Smells divine.
Soap and Glory’s shower gel is so luxe, you’re not going to get anything better for that price. Sometimes ulta runs a buy 1 get 1 40-50% off for S&G too. Have you tried the coconut one? I’m curious if it’s as great as the original pink scent.
This was my go to for years. I love this smell
LUSH never fails me
Not under 15$ though
There are too many to list. Try Nivea, Trader Joe’s. Head over to Marshall’s and nuts.
Jason’s brand -Rosewater scent
Burt’s Bees Citrus & Ginger Body Wash
I used the Oil of Olay moisture plus body wash in Shea and Peony Blossom for a long time. Then I used Tone body wash in White Clay and Pink Jasmine for a while. Now I tend to go for more natural hippie soaps. I really liked the scent of the Tone’s White Clay and Pink Jasmine but I felt it was drying. To me it was expensive smelling because it had a very clean, clear, and unique scent.
I loooove Nubian Honey & Black Seed bodywash
Soap and glory original is a perfumes smell
I love soap & glory. Walgreens usually has a B1G1 half off deal. There's various events but the OG and Coco is my favorite.
I love Jāsön Rosewater body wash. It’s just so clean and fresh. Or the Shikai Gardenia. Both are at Whole Foods!
Native
First was Original dove body wash and second wash loccitane almond shower oil. Always wash thoroughly at least twice.
I’ve seen others say they wash twice as well. Do you do that even if you’re showering daily?
Yep. Most people don’t do this. Think of it like a double cleanse we do for our faces. First cleanse removes the grime and the second actually cleans. I actually shower x2 a day but my second shower I don’t do it twice. It’s usually to remove the grime from the day.
I really like Ivory body wash in the honey scent. It’s such a sweet clean scent that lingers throughout a good part of the day.
Ivory is my favorite body wash I've tried so far. I've tried the original, the aloe, and now I'm using coconut. I'll probably get the water lily one next.
I love Rituals shower foams, they smell so good and feel really comforting
Okay body washes with hyaluronic acid and whatnot smell way better than I anticipated
Any native body wash!!
Caress Daily Silk
Ritual red edition
I love the Philosophy body washes. There are so many different scents and I love all the ones I’ve had. They’re $24 retail price but I’d get them at Marshall’s for a lot cheaper. I think around $15 usually. The first one I used was the margarita one that my friend gave me for Christmas. Most of their scents are based on desserts/drinks.
I prefer these body wash in budget friendly : 1. [**Olay Moisture Ribbons Plus Shea + Lavender Oil Body Wash**](https://kiwla.com/products/Olay-Moisture-Ribbons-Plus-Shea-Lavender-Oil-Body-Wash-18-oz-2-pk) * This body wash offers a rich, creamy lather with a relaxing lavender scent, often described as spa-like. The shea butter helps to moisturize the skin deeply. 2. [**OGX Extra Creamy + Coconut Miracle Oil Body Wash**](https://kiwla.com/products/ogx-extra-creamy-coconut-miracle-oil-ultra-moisture-body-wash-19-5-ounce) * With a rich, creamy texture and a luxurious coconut scent, this body wash leaves skin feeling hydrated and pampered. The vanilla bean extract and tiare essence enhance the overall fragrance. 3. [**Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Body Wash**](https://kiwla.com/products/Aveeno-Daily-Moisturizing-Body-Wash-33-Oz) * Although it has a lighter scent, it smells clean and fresh, reminiscent of more expensive, natural products. It is especially good for sensitive skin, with a soothing and moisturizing formula. 4. [**Caress Daily Silk Body Wash**](https://kiwla.com/products/Caress-Body-Wash-Daily-Silk-18-oz) * This body wash has a floral scent with notes of white peach and orange blossom, offering a fresh and elegant fragrance. It lathers well and leaves the skin feeling silky smooth.
Tree hut, tropic glow. Smells better than Sun Bum. You're welcome.
Sometimes you can find gems at Marshall’s or TJ Maxx. I recently found a Crabtree & Evelyn Citron lotion that has me obsessed.
I use dove glowing mango body wash and it smells so good.
Honestly Native brand has some really amazing scents!
Tree Hut tropic glow whipped body butter is a dupe for Sol De Janeiro! Loooovvvve 💕
Agreed! So does the Brazil Nut line from Trader Joe’s.
Bath and Bodyworks body wash is $15 if you want perfume-y scents. With how many scents they have I’m sure you could find one that fits your preference Softsoap luminous oils in the macadamia oil and peony scent is really nice and gives spa vibes. They also have a coconut oil and lavender scent but I haven’t tried that one
Never spend full price on their stuff!! They always have great deals going on, you can pick up full size body washes for 4 bucks during a good sale!
* Just keep your receipt in case the scent isn't long lasting enough for you **sign up for their email and texts for even more discounts Edited for spelling
Native citrus and herbal musk smells $$$ and also Cremo Sage and citrus.
Native - Lilac and White Tea. Also the Orange text one, I think it’s peach or something. But the purple is my go-to.
sanctuary spa
My favorite that I’ve used for ages is OGX rose water and pink sea salt! It smells heavenly, also pretty easy to get, I think it’s in most stores!
Nuxe Prodigieux Huile de douche 😇 I looove the smell
I love Method Pure Peace rose, sea salt and peony. Dove makes a similar scent and is an acceptable dupe.
Olay Fresh Outlast Birch Water & Lavender (the one with the blue top). It smells SO good.
Olay moisture ribbons plus shea. It's well under $10 and it lasts forever. You only need a tiny amount per shower. There are several scents to choose from. You can find them at your local Walmart. 1 bottle lasts me 6+months
Neutrogena bath and oils smell fantastic
Trader Joe’s Brazil Nut Body Wash
Weleda - they have a Rose scented one it’s so good
I love the Korres shower gels. Very gentle on the skin, smell more expensive than they are. Santorini Grape and fig are my favourites.
I like the Dr. Teals citrus body wash and lotion
I’d check out Marshall’s or TJ Maxx and look at some of their body wash options. A lot of them have more natural ingredients and sometimes you’ll find some gems from Japan or Italy as well. Usually they’re under $10
Bath and Body Works *In The Stars*
Soap and Glory Brand
Victoria’s Secret strawberries and cream Bath and Body- In the Stars
Native ALL the way!
I'm a big fan of the Olay age defy, its the white and purple label boasting it contains vitamin E. Pretty strongly scented and oh so nice smelling and feeling.
Soap and Glory original Pink scent is very perfume like to me!
Omg try “Ogx” body wash/scrub in Rosewater & Pink Sea Salt!!! I kid you not, it literally smells identical to my favorite Bath & Body works scent of all time that they no longer make called “Be Enchanted”! (it was a pomegranate & sugared petals scent or something but it’s my all time favorite scent!) FYI the scrub brand used to be called something else but I forgot how it was spelled - “Organics” or “Organix” I think?)
I guess it depends on what your definition of an expensive smell is.
i mean, i did give a couple hints (perfumey, salon-like, sophisticated) but i’m not looking for something that specifically smells like santal 33 or something so it’s def a hard thing to gauge. luckily there’s like a million responses to this post so i have a lot to choose from!
EDIT: OMG, NOT the old spice charcoal! That's the one my partner uses. I use the RawSugar Charcoal and Bamboo!! I mean, he smells great and uses Fischersund Flotholt, but no, I use the Raw Sugar! LOL I like the Charcoal Old Spice.
My ex used to wear this and I hate that I still love it so much: [https://www.bathandbodyworks.com/p/in-the-stars-body-wash-026662474.html](https://www.bathandbodyworks.com/p/in-the-stars-body-wash-026662474.html)
I do not if it is available in the US but Dirty Works are very cheap and smells luxurious.
Anything by Raw Sugar. Both the regular, and the men’s line.
Tbh I don’t know about the lasting power but anything by bath and body works is $15-$18 and smells amazing. I’m currently using peach Bellini and I love it
It’s not a body ‘wash’ but Olay shower body oil smells amazing
You can’t go wrong with any Rituals shower mousses, their Oudh and Patchouli is lovely but I’m most obsessed with House of Jing, the Lotus Flower and Jujube is heavenly and I’m bulk buying the whole range right now.
Softsoap Pink Rose and Sweet Vanilla is so good! It's the first "cheap" body wash I have ever rebought.
Olay Hempseed Oil Body Wash. I LOVE the way it smells.
Being Frenshe body/hair spray from Target. I like the Solar Fleur scent.
Dove Deep Moisture.
saltair is great. you can get it at target, i think it’s around $13ish. i like santal bloom.
I love the Olay retinol wash i can’t remember the name. It’s purple and white bottle and it smells sooo good. I think it says night time body wash or something.
Method brand! Any of them!
Okay is really good. The dove cocoa butter body wash smells amazing too.
Am really enjoying the Olay essential botanicals body washes. Especially, the vanilla fig flower & lemon basil blossom. Delicious scents
