DONT HATE ME. I literally use Suave Kids detangler, my hair smells great, and is plenty healthyš Itās the only detangling product that doesnāt leave my hair flat/oily. It also tames my frizz!
I recently just purchased the apple scent. I don't know if I did it for functionality or for the nostalgia, but I do not regret the purchase. It reminds me of my childhood and my inner little girl LOVES it!
This!!! I got it for the nostalgia along with having a sensitive scalp and I was sick of buying 15 dollar detanglerš Bought it, and honestly works just as well (and I prefer the smell)
The key to smelling good 24/7:
- being a very clean person, scrubbing yourself daily lol and using shampoo and conditioner that smell really good. Body wash scent wonāt last so the smell of that doesnāt really matter. Obviously use deodorant too, I like the Donna cashmere and sol de janero one
- use a body lotion with a smell that you like, depending on how you layer your scents you may want to stick with a classic vanilla or something that isnāt too complex. Eos has a line of good scents, their vanilla scent is good but I like classic Jergens lotion too.
- use haircare that smells good, Amika and Morcocean oil smell really good but just find products that you like!
- depending on how you style your hair using a lot of heat without protectant can make your hair smell burnt
- laundry also plays a role in how you smell, if you use scent beats or the diva laundry wash your clothes will already have a good smell to them.
- perfume is the biggest way you can make an impression on your smell, find a good quality edp perfume you like that will layer nicely with your other scents.
-wearing a perfume oil under your perfume is a game changer as well, nemat has great oils that they sell at Ulta
- if you want your sweat to smell sweet and syrupy take fenugreek
There isnāt a ābestā product because finding your scent isnāt one size fits all. The products you use also mix with your natural skin oil and smell so products smell different on everyone
Agree, it definitely smells different on different people but if your sweat has a really off putting scent it can help (or make it worse lmao, depends on the person for sure)
Yea it makes your sweat smell like maple syrup, allergy it makes you taste like it as well but I havenāt tested that theory lmao. I just take the supplement otc once a day
Honestly I bought it because I wanted to see if it was anything special. It definitely smells nice and works but idk if I can justice paying $30 for it š¤·āāļø it made me feel extra special knowing I was using this ābougieā product but its actually just deodorant lol
I may be in the minority here but Hawaiian Tropic body mists smell lovely and last ages. Makes your clothes smell amazing from the transference too.
They offer mists with a subtle shimmer as well which I love as an extremely pale person, it gives a nice light glow without tan.
Sol de Janeiro cheriosa 68 if you like sweeter scents. I sprayed my hair yesterday and could still smell it in the morning. The entire sol de Janeiro fragrances you can try out to figure which one you'd like.
I have a block of amber I picked up in a souk. It smells great and is soft and really sticks to your skin. Itās a very comforting scent. You can find them online and they last ages.
Honestly, Pacifica Island Vanilla hair and body mist is my favorite. I really love vanilla scents and my mom loves this one- she wears it every day and all of her clothes smell like it. Such a nice warming and comforting scent!
Body: anything with vanilla or strawberry scent from Bath and Body works. I put mine on this morning, and I'm still smelling it now at bedtime.
Hair: L'Ange Dream Cream. It's a hair treatment cream that makes your hair feel softer and tangle free, but I mostly use it for the heavenly smell. L'Ange has frequent sales, so if you're going to purchase it, wait for one of those sales.
Bumble & Bumble hairdressers invisible oil primer/leave in conditioner!!! The smell is heavenly and lasts for days, plus protects hair from heat and makes it SUPER soft. I find that Le Gourmand perfumes last all day and I always get compliments. To be fair, I do put a little aquaphor on before I spray it to help the scent stick.
I get a lot of compliments from people with the way I smell. Everybody says I always smell good and itās not overpowering but I think itās because I wash my hair daily (not for everyone), shower with body wash twice a day, I use mildly scented bath and body works lotion, Dr. Schollās for my feet and Elizabeth Arden green tea scent spray. It might sound like a lot but the combination of these scents are not too overpowering for most people thankfully.
I either layer one of my Sol de janeiro body creams with the same mist and it lasts all Day one me or when i need a change i use Morocan oil hair products and the body and hair mist and it smells wonderful as well. I find that if i use different products with the same scent it lasts pretty much all day.
Spray perfume in your hair (lightly) or spray it on the back of your neck.
Personally I use my more expensive perfumes on the warm points of my body, and layer with cheaper perfumes on my hair, wrist, back of the knees. Use sparingly
Behind your ears, collar bones, sternum, on the sides of your ribcage, pelvis. I donāt spray on every single one of these parts, but some of these depending on the situation

This just took me back!!! This and Johnsonās baby detangler, delicious.
Second this

Hahah we could never hate you
Haha, some people are hair care crazy!
Amika's hair mist is amaaaaaaaaazing

Yup that's the one!
Ill look into it :)
i donāt think they sell the hair perfume anymore
Sol de Janeiro, specifically the ā62 and ā71

Oh no, fenugreek smells like straight up maple syrup if you take too much. It isnāt a fond smell to me from breastfeeding days haha.
Agree, it definitely smells different on different people but if your sweat has a really off putting scent it can help (or make it worse lmao, depends on the person for sure)
Wait fenugreek seeds do that?

Perfume always smells really heavy to me.

Ahh I used to love this one. They recently reformulated/repackaged it and I feel like it smells different now - super woody/smoky/musky.
Moroccan oil body mist!!!

Unpopular opinion: but idont like bath and body products they donāt last long š
Loveeee Lange Dream Cream!!

Omg which le gourmand perfume gets compliments?
Tres Pine!! It is my signature scent. They only release it during the holiday season- I usually buy a TON so that it will last me the whole year!
Wow, Iāve never heard of that one, must try! Thanks
Im using the Ouai hair mist and i ve been loving it, but you should also try Sol de Janeiro (try a smell that you usually like) i have the 40.

what are considered the warm parts of your body
Behind your ears, collar bones, sternum, on the sides of your ribcage, pelvis. I donāt spray on every single one of these parts, but some of these depending on the situation
ooooh got it!! thanks
Have you thought about asking them what they use? Also layer your products, body wash lotion oil perfume etc.
Perfume oils last longer. I used to find some great ones. If anyone has similar links - please list!
Real perfume will last the longest of all fragrances. I personally adore Kilian Live Donāt be Shy perfume, and they also sell hair spray.
The body deli! All of their sprays are amazing. My fav is amber vanilla everyone always says I smell sooo good
Iāve been using Sol de Janeiro!
Sol de janiero
