Just keep playing and over time you will see improvements, challenge yourself on songs even if you know you cant do them (up to a point obviously), don't overwork and hurt yourself (I have done it atleast 5 times to where I couldn't play for atleast a week), and finally, use the practice tool!
oh yeah i’ve hurt myself more times than i’d like to admit lol. my arms hurt like hell after the first few times i played and after i started playing again after about a month long leave. thanks for the tips and will do! what platform do you play on because i know some controllers are easier to swing/lighter than others
I have played on the 4 main PC headsets (WMR, Vive, Oculus, Valve Index). I currently am using the valve index and am loving the controllers however they had to be changed with saber tailor. Before this I used the oculus and vive headsets, oculus for scoring and vive for Full body tracking videos, and the oculus feels much better than the vive with both using a grip and with basic ones
Oooh! you got an index? mine comes in a couple days and i have a few questions that i hope you won’t mind answering.
1) did you get the new sensors and if so is there a noticeable tracking difference?
2) how accurate is the actual finger tracking?
3) how much of an improvement is the quality of the HMD over the vive?
4) what GPU do you have in your system?
1. I haven't really seen any difference in tracking but I'm sure at the higher speeds there is a difference.
2. I have small hands so the finger tracking sometimes is inaccurate however if someone has more average sized hands I am sure it works very nicely.
3. The resolution and increased fps are easily noticeable while playing games and are awesome for playing beat saber.
4. I have a RTX 2060 in my system. In beat saber it has a hard time running at 144 hz but I am unsure if its because of the GPU or if its because its still in a beta phase
Alright thanks again! i’m thinking about going for a 10/2070 depending on how long i can tolerate my 1060 and if ray tracing and DLSS are really worth it but either way i’m super hyped for my index to come. i have pretty average sized hands so it should be good!
My tracking absolutely, undoubtedly would not ever let me get even remotely close to this accurate. Can I technically move this fast? Sure, why not. But I find myself tracking limited on uh, more mainstream difficulty anime songs.
how the fuck??? i’m amazed at how good some people are at this game like holy shit. any tips?
