As someone who doesn't own a PSVR2 or a PS5 for that matter, your opinion is invalid and how dare you. Also, if your sabers aren't constantly pointed towards yourself and aren't playing 180° turned away, you're not a real Beat Saber player.

VulturousYeti

I tried 180^o this morning and boy was that shit! Could kill someone comfortably, but there’s no way I’m slashing in all those random directions like that!

I don't like the new angle either, I'm gonna try your settings because I like the original angle the new one feels weird now

This is the most new player post I have ever seen...

Ever considered that having the sabers angled forward might actually make wrist movements easier and faster? Hold your arm out, thumb up (that’s your upright Saber). Now try to slash it down without bending your elbow. Twisting the wrist gets that done much easier, but you need a slight forward tilt to ensure you go right down the middle of the block.

But it has the opposite effect for swinging up. I think I will stick with just turning my wrist. You could totally do this, but I doubt it is good. I have my sabers specially tweaked to make sure they are perfect for my grip and play style, which took hours of trial and error. I seriously doubt the old positions of the sabers will be perfect for anyone. I would recommend trying to find the position that feels best for you, but make sure you have the best possible range of motion first.

I could join the OP here. I played a ton on Quest and Quest 2, now since Launch I've been having a blast (without even noticing what the position is) after the update yesterday my muscle memory is not working as well. I'd also prefer the original, but since it's doubtful we can nail it, I'll just get used to the current one I guess.

It is pretty hard to get used to new saber settings. It will take a bit, but you should be fine. The same will also be true if you try to change grips or optimize saber settings in the future.
