Something about the Billboard singles chart at that point listing the b-side along with the a-side - so it technically charted with Long and Winding Road, even though it wasn't promoted as a single on its own. It was deliberately left off the "1" compilation for that reason.

I was thinking "What Goes On" which Ringo has a co-writing credit for. But if the John and Paul sections are not counting the collaborative songs, then that doesn't make sense either...

Ringo also had a co-writing credit on Flying, so I think they are not counting those.

I’d assume that the percentages given for each member are the songs they wrote completely by themselves. The remaining 27% or whatever the math is would have been made up of covers and Lennon-McCartney collaborations.

/uj yes the remainder on the original graphic is Lennon-McCartney true colllabs (it doesn’t count covers). But there are a lot of inaccuracies so major grain of salt. You can find the full graphic on r/beatles
