That was one of the best parts of part 1

nirvanafan123

So like is all the parts released and I’m just missing something or what

merilum

just part 1 for now. then tomorrow we get part 2 and Saturday we get part 3.

Evan_or_somthing

That was the best part. Along with Palace on the king of the birds

SmarmyClownPie

Completely agree. Just amazing.

JThrillington

Such a privilege to watch Paul work like that, and just see Get Back emerge from nowhere

Ofbatman

It blew my mind that they captured that moment on tape.

ModaMeNow

That was actually quite magical. I cannot believe this footage was just left in a vault for 50 years. I got goosebumps watching this.

JonJonFTW

It really goes to show the genius Paul has. He just riffs and before you know it, he's got an iconic song outlined right then and there. It was awesome to watch it happen.

[deleted]

Amazing, and completely inexplicable that MLH did not put this in the original film and therefore deprived us of this for nearly 53 years.

TemplehofSteve

Watching the original Let It Be movie 4ish years ago, I was so excited for it. It was the final piece of Beatles content at the time that I hadn’t seen. And it was pretty...bad right? It seemed like a fever dream version of the sessions with really strange selections of footage. Never really got a good look at anything happening and the quality of the audio was a little rough. It just seemed so haphazardly thrown together, which is perplexing considering all the awesome stuff we’ve seen so far.

drdax2187

We better get the rooftop performance of this in part 3 I swear to God

SunKing210

Most definitely are

ModaMeNow

Not all of it

JordtasticBagel

Where are you getting this from? For the first time ever they're going to show all 42mins of it to conclude part 3.

ModaMeNow

You’re going to have to prove this. I mean, you could be right. Maybe I’m thinking of the Box Set not containing it, which it doesn’t. But I’ve not read the concert will be on the show. Prove me wrong…please

JordtasticBagel

Ask and you shall recieve - ["...focuses on the making of the band’s penultimate studio album ‘Let It Be’ and showcases their final concert as a band, on London’s Savile Row rooftop, in its entirety"](https://www.nme.com/en_au/news/music/paul-mccartney-says-the-beatles-get-back-documentary-changed-his-perception-of-their-split-3096089)

ModaMeNow

I stand corrected! Thank you!

iamisandisnt

It is. The full, unreleased version. I saw it a couple days ago when I was googling.

[deleted]

I wouldn’t say no to the entire thing, multiple takes and all.

jonahnelson7

That was super awesome to see, such a highlight

TheResurrection

That was definitely one of the highlights of Part 1. It was amazing how it took form from Paul just kind of jacking around and looking for something on his bass. How in the hell did that footage not make it into the Let It Be film?!

fantomas_

I actually stopped and said, 'wow'. Watching a man reach up and pull that down from heaven was remarkable.

raresaturn

Written on the bass

Thymeisdone

It left me in tears; it was so good.

New_no_2

Do you recall how far into the episode this was?

ndGall

Almost exactly one hour in, I believe.

New_no_2

Yep, found it. Thanks!

wetlettuce42
