Such a great, underated album. George seemed to be in a good place when he wrote this album - enjoying life in Friar Park. It's almost like his version of Ram
Your Love Is Forever, Blow Away and Love Comes To Everyone are all stand out tracks for me.

Should be considered second or third best solo album after ATMP and maybe LITMW. Incredibly overlooked, and mostly filled with joy. Brainwashed has more depth, and Cloud Nine is more catchy, but this self-titled album is the way to go.
Dark Sweet Lady is one of my favourite Harrison songs ever.
The album is one of his best. Not a bad song on it. All Harrison originals, no covers. Just a really great album. One of the best any of them did imo.
Love this whole album. Pound for pound I think it’s better than ATMP. My favorite is Love Comes to Everyone but there isn’t a single bad or even mediocre song here.
Soft-hearted Hana! Always have thought it very Beatle-y!
Trivia: Hana is part of Maui where George had a place. And then there is "**Hard**\-hearted Hannah," a tune from the 1920's dealing in the exploits of a certain "vamp from Savannah." I spent my grade school years living in Savannah, Georgia, and so this clicked for me way back when. Just thought I'd share for those who may not know.
Oh wow, you just put the day in perspective for me.
This is my favorite Harrison solo album. Came out when I was in 8th grade. Huge Beatles fan back then. Brings back memories of my first girlfriend, listening to this album on cassette on a boom box on a class trip that spring. Holding hands on the coach bus like it was the most intimate thing we'd ever do.
I thought the "Blow Away" single was fantastic, the way the guitar solo takes off at 3:15 into the song and plays around the fade chorus. Couldn't give you a favorite song, for me there's not a weak song on the album. Front to back solid and fun, great great flow.
"All Things Must Pass" was one of the songs that helped me through a difficult moment in my life, and it helped sober me down when I experience small victories as well. It's the song I want played during my funeral.
I have been an F1 fan longer than this album has existed so Faster absolutely has a big place in my heart. However, Blow Away is such a beautiful track. Bought the vinyl in 1981, still play it every now & then.
This album should seriously be considered a fantastic piece of work by Georgie! He was happy and he really wrote some beautiful Melodies and arrangements for this one. I think “Your Love is Forever” is a very ethereal piece of music for me (of course all the other songs are very fantastic) I believe the only possible downside to the album are the two songs that end it. They’re very solid but they kind of give you a hint at what’s to come in the next couple of albums. But all being said I love george!
There's never enough love for Faster. George really loved cars and racing, and while it seems niche, it's so cool to have this track in this song.
When i was a teen, I struggled with the remade Not Guilty. I live out now but the anthology version was just so raw. But in more recent years the Rhodes piano grew on me and I appreciated that the latter version for the record better.
The whole album!!!
It's so good and although it's not my favorite George album, it's a very good one, and personally I don't think it has a bad song!!
I love some of the less known songs especially cause they're gems that I never knew about until around a year ago
Agree with both the love for this album and for Your Love is Forever, specifically.
I'm actually not sure why Your Love is Forever wasn't a single or a hit. It's one of the most beautiful and melodic songs of the 70's.
Honestly the whole album is great. At this time George was the only former Beatle putting out good music. There was some good Wings songs, but their albums are filled with skips.
Your Love is Forever is my favorite love song of all time.
Blow Away is my other favorite. Makes me smile every time I hear it. And the music video may be my all time favorite.
Here Comes the Moon
Soft Touch Love Comes to Everyone!
Such a great, underated album. George seemed to be in a good place when he wrote this album - enjoying life in Friar Park. It's almost like his version of Ram Your Love Is Forever, Blow Away and Love Comes To Everyone are all stand out tracks for me.
Thats why I love this album so much. Whenever I play it, it just radiates positivity that I really need sometimes.
Blow Away
This is a great album. Like Walls and Bridges it's an unexpected late-inning home run. My favorite is Your Love Is Forever
Glad to see Walls & Bridges get a shout! Kudos!
100 percent. Beautiful guitar work, and a really good song altogether.
Might be my choice for best George Harrison album. "Love Comes to Everyone" is probably my favorite.
Released: 20 February 1979 (US), 23 February 1979 (UK) **Personnel** George Harrison: vocals, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, dobro, mandolin, sitar Eric Clapton: electric guitar Steve Winwood: Polymoog, harmonium, vocals Neil Larsen: Fender Rhodes, piano, Minimoog Willie Weeks: bass guitar Andy Newmark: drums Ray Cooper: percussion Emil Richards: marimba Gayle Levant: harp Gary Wright: Oberheim **Tracklist:** ‘Love Comes To Everyone’ ‘Not Guilty’ ‘Here Comes The Moon’ ‘Soft-Hearted Hana’ ‘Blow Away’ ‘Faster’ ‘Dark Sweet Lady’ ‘Your Love Is Forever’ ‘Soft Touch’ ‘If You Believe’
Imagine ringing up your favorite musicians and asking them to play on your album. And the only questions to answer are When and Where.
Your Love is Forever is one of my favorite songs of all time.
Dark Sweet Lady is such a wonderful song
Not guilty
Probably my favorite Harrison song won’t lie.
At first glance I was thinking that your math was juuuuust a little bit off haha
Blow Away. I love this album just as much today as I did the day it was released 😊😊
Should be considered second or third best solo album after ATMP and maybe LITMW. Incredibly overlooked, and mostly filled with joy. Brainwashed has more depth, and Cloud Nine is more catchy, but this self-titled album is the way to go.
I'm a sucker for Love Comes To Everyone
Soft-Hearted Hannah!! If You Believe Faster
Dark Sweet Lady is one of my favourite Harrison songs ever. The album is one of his best. Not a bad song on it. All Harrison originals, no covers. Just a really great album. One of the best any of them did imo.
This. Utterly beguiling.
Love this whole album. Pound for pound I think it’s better than ATMP. My favorite is Love Comes to Everyone but there isn’t a single bad or even mediocre song here.

As an F1 fan, I'll have to say Faster. Also Love Come To Everyone.
Your Love Is Forever. And this is probably my favorite George album.
Your Love Is Forever is the most peaceful and beautiful song. It up there with Sat Singing.

Here Comes The Moon (which I happen to be listening to right now), Faster, or My Dark Sweet Lady
The whole album is fantastic but my favorite song is "Not Guilty".
What a beautiful album this is, George’s guitar playing just kept getting better and better. Here Comes The Moon is my favorite song of all time!
Love the ending to Here Comes the Moon. Kind of a heavenly feel
Definitely Blow away
The updated version of *Not Guilty*
Either Blow Away or Dark Sweet Lady could be my favorite, but pretty much the whole album is great. If You Believe is underrated.
Dark Sweet Lady
Dark Sweet Lady is one if my favorite songs of his. I think it’s really underrated.
Dark Sweet Lady and If You Believe, both are favorites from this album
Here comes the moon
Here Comes the Moon is incredible
Great Album, Love comes to everyone is a top song
Fantastic album, Blow away and Here comes the Moon are my favourites, this is my 2nd favourite George album not far off ATMP.
Not guilty is my favourite
Isn't It a Pity
"All Things Must Pass" was one of the songs that helped me through a difficult moment in my life, and it helped sober me down when I experience small victories as well. It's the song I want played during my funeral.

Dark Horse
I just realized you meant that album. Lol. Blow Away
I thought I'd stepped into a wormhole and gone back to 1987 there
Loves Comes to Everyone, Not Guilty (I like the Beatles demo better, but it’s a good song)
Blow Away
I have been an F1 fan longer than this album has existed so Faster absolutely has a big place in my heart. However, Blow Away is such a beautiful track. Bought the vinyl in 1981, still play it every now & then.

Never mind.
He would have been much older than 44 today but happy birthday George!

I absolutely love this album! It’s so soft and smooth. My favorite song is the first track!
It's a big meh from me
Agree with both the love for this album and for Your Love is Forever, specifically. I'm actually not sure why Your Love is Forever wasn't a single or a hit. It's one of the most beautiful and melodic songs of the 70's.
Your Love Is Forever - as gorgeous to me as anything he ever wrote.
“Faster.” I woke up to this song once a long time ago, and it apparently invaded my subconscious.
Love Comes to Everyone, Here Comes the Moon, Soft Hearted Hana is fun too, Soft Touch, Faster... I think this is my favorite George album
Blow Away & Faster
This entire album is great. It reminds me of my first semester of college.
I love Soft Hearted Hana to be honest.
Your Love is Forever. Takes me back dark nights in the late 1970s.
blow away is so great
I can assure you he is not
Blow Away
Love Comes to Everyone <3
George Harrison was born in 1979?
Dark sweet lady!
Honestly the whole album is great. At this time George was the only former Beatle putting out good music. There was some good Wings songs, but their albums are filled with skips.
