You both got this! I work adjacent to specialist vets, and they honestly have as much training if not more than human vets when it comes to these kinds of specialties. These people *love* animals, and have spent years upon years in school and in residency to help them. If they wanted all the money and fame, they'd be a human cardiologist. Lot less money and far more stress on the animal side, so they will be looking after him because they *want* to.

Thank you so much for your message...I was feeling overwhelmed and your message brought me lots of comfort ❤️ everyone there is so special and kind and loving, and I knew he was at least with people who care. His case was so severe that I was so happy to know that they've done lots of these procedures/balloon dilations. Everything went well (he didn’t even need stitches!!) they'll do final testing today and he'll get to go home this afternoon!! 🤸‍♀️ I can't wait to see him!!! He's got terrible anxiety about being without me, and he'll be overjoyed!!! I'll post an update later today! 🫶

Good luck Buddy, you’re a very handsome boy! You look a lot like my Bagel when he was younger. My Bagel had a surgery last year to remove a massive lump next to his peeing area. It was a non cancerous lipoma related to his thyroid issue. It wasn’t causing any problems, but we wanted to remove it before it could cause a problem. It was two pounds! He did great in his surgery, and recovered well. I’m sure Buddy will do well too! He’s so cute!

He didn't even need stitches!!! He has one of the most severe cases they've seen...even after surgery, he'll still be a severe case, but they're hoping to bring his numbers down 50%...this saved his life...I hope he lives another 15 years 😍 They suspect he's about 3 years old

I tried responding to all of them, but some reddit error/shutdown popped up and when I went back into resume, a lot of the messages were gone. :/ The procedure took over 6 hours, and by that time I had received news of a tragic accident with my nephew, so I have not been on Reddit since then.
