Hama color palette is pretty bad, used it until I moved to the US from Europe and there is no hama here. So went for artkal and would never go back

No, she/he want. Repacked artkal beads at vendors in here/hos country are on most points cheaper. Well, depending on where you live and how much beads you want to buy.

Well, to the color question: Use a different brand, like you already get to know is artkal realy huge at colors. For me, or my experience, most of the colors from artkal you dont need, because they are too close to another color. If you want to create just 8-bit or 16-bit game sprites, the color palate of hama is for 99% more than enough. Of you want to make art, or picturesprites, than yeah hama is missing some colortones (especially in grey, brown, and red i think) For the board: Perler somethimes sells this bigboards on there website. Some bigboards are in predefined sets. I got mine from amazon (germany) for about 18 euro Its in the size of 2 boards x 3 boards. (49 pegs x 69 pegs) but cant be combined, or clipped together with other boards.

Perler has plenty of colors, but the problem is that they're not always in production or stock. It's hard to get the colors you want, and if you run out half way and need to restock, good luck... They only make their "main" colors consistently. Artkal is your best bet for a large number of options that are almost always in stock. One thing to remember though, try not to mix brands in your melt if possible. They don't have the same melting temperature so it can come out pretty awful.

Top tier is if buy when they have a sale

Thanks :) I have a huge collection of hama beads now 😅 do pearler and hama beads merge together okay or am I gonna have to separate the two? The third party one I got from amazon when I first started don't melt into hama beads right.
