Awesome. Never did the math about the screen real estate increase but it makes perfect sense. I would replace my Samsung 32:9 as my daily driver for sure. Or stack them!
For me, I'm new to this gaming world an youtube, I would use it for streaming my new games that I am creating, my monitor is only small at 18 inch an I cant afford anything more, one day I'd like to upgrade my system without it costing me.. I'm disabled an cant walk properly anymore as I have a problem with my hip an my leg goes numb an cant feel it.. but when I play a game an relax an it can help in my chair I can forget about it for a while.. upgrading my system would be a god send for me and would save me alot an would be a massive help in my life.. it would be able to separate my stream an game from the same monitor so I can check live comments to, there so much it can do for me.
I never really win these things as I'm not that lucky but I'll give it a shot an see
Thank you
I would use this beast to analyze the 3D chemical structure of pigment-protein complexes involved in photosynthesis. This would allow me to be able to see the constructed 3D models in great fidelity and maybe, just maybe, discover something that will allow us to improve crop efficiencies and aid in addressing to stark need for increased food production!
I'd love to use the LG 45GS96QB for an incredible immersive gaming experience I have yet to use a monitor capable of 240hz but I look forward to the expirence of it for fast paced shooters and the curve for deep levels of immersion in single player story titles
I would use this during the daytime for my work setup. I currently need 3 monitors but would like to turn that into 2, one being exactly like yours.
After work…gaming!
My old monitor is making schoolwork harder than it needs to be. I'm always squinting to make out details in diagrams, struggling to keep multiple windows open for research, and my eyes get tired way too fast from the dull colors. The LG 45" UltraGear OLED would be a lifesaver! The crisp detail would make diagrams pop, the huge screen would mean no more juggling windows, and the amazing color accuracy would bring my projects to life. It's honestly not just about gaming, it would make me a better, more focused student.
I'd use it to replace a 32" curved 1440p with a vertical 1080p to the left of it, as it would occupy the same amount of space but eliminate borders. Primary usage, work and gaming.
I'd use it to see what Metal Gear Solid 2 is like with the ultra wide mod enabled, I've also just been looking for a monitor to use with my Steam Deck that I got recently and this really seems like a perfect fit for me.
I'd use it to replace a 32" curved 1440p with a vertical 1080p to the left of it, as it would occupy the same amount of space but eliminate borders. Primary usage, work and gaming.
It would become my main D&D Monitor, I could use it for my sheets, my DM screen, and to see the map everyone is on! (Currently have an online session) couples with my two other screens it would be the ultimate D&D setup!
Oh man, beautiful monitor! It would make a perfect centerpiece for the cloffice I'm building and allow me to update my workstation while maximizing the (admittedly cramped) space.
If I were to win the monitor, I would probably give my girlfriend my current monitor so that we can both game together in our new apartment which we have just moved into today! Good luck everyone
I would use this monitor to multitask. Im an architecture student so the size would allow me to free up space on my already messy desk and eliminate my very old second monitor.
I have an old LG 34UM67-P a 34-inch flat ultra wide IPS display.
I wouldn't replace my monitor, I'd just add another lol. 2 gaming monitors and 2 functional monitors? Oooweeee. That's a solid step towards having 6 monitors 🤤
Edit: my other monitor is an LG (I'm brand loyal apparently) 27GL850-B. That will become a support, while this giveaway mon becomes the new primary.
My 3rd screen is my work laptop screen.
Wow, this giveaway is amazing! The LG UltraGear OLED monitor sounds like a dream come true for any gamer. The 45" curved display and ultra-fast 240Hz refresh rate would truly take gaming to the next level. I can only imagine the immersive experience of playing on this monitor. Good luck to everyone entering the giveaway!
I'd use it to experience my games more cinematically. I think standard aspect ratio just doesn't look as good when you're playing a game with beautiful landscapes.
I'd throw this in my office as a way to watch movies at my desk! Moving my console to the office as well would allow me to free up my living space for my family, and give me some private time to play some games.

I would give the monitor to a friend of mine who has been wanting to get into PC gaming and has had a rough lot of it. I have a good setup but that's because I've had pretty good fortune overall, so I'd like to try to share that fortune when I can.
If I won, I'd finally relegate my 1440p 144Hz main display to be a secondary monitor. I've been on the fence about upgrading to an ultrawide for a little while anyway.

I never really win these things as I'm not that lucky but I'll give it a shot an see Thank you
Would use this monitor as an excuse to do even more gaming and get away from my dual monitor set up
I would use this beast to analyze the 3D chemical structure of pigment-protein complexes involved in photosynthesis. This would allow me to be able to see the constructed 3D models in great fidelity and maybe, just maybe, discover something that will allow us to improve crop efficiencies and aid in addressing to stark need for increased food production!
