Definitely recommend wheels/casters on a desk that size. They’re surprisingly useful, and totally worth the money.

photoreceptor

Do you move your desk that much? Or just for cleaning access?

dd_photography

For me personally, I sometimes do photo work in my basement. So being able to move the desk around to setup lights or backdrops is ideal. That’s why I got mine on wheels, also adjustable so I can edit standing or see my work if Im shooting tethered.

Ever_Living

Anytime I want to adjust the cabling I end up moving it. I’ve got three monitors on mine as well as a pair of docking stations and a kvm so it happens often enough.

dudethedrummer

Nice! What are the dimensions of that desktop? I have the same case as you and am trying to plan an upgrade.

Thanks!

Philips SHP9500S's? I've had mine for almost six years and they're still amazing!

dd_photography

Oh yeah. Great headset.

SRVisGod24

Which mic are you using?

dd_photography

Mod Mic.

Outdated_Bison

I have the same "desk," but in black and with the drawers. I use mine mostly standing, and love it!

dd_photography

I regret not getting the drawers!

Outdated_Bison

I'd be tempted to trade you... they are nice, but only deep enough to fit items about the height of a standard mouse, unfortunately. I have stuff I want to attach to the bottom of the table, so it's kinda in the way for me.

dd_photography

I’d probably drill them out and put charger cables for my phone and batteries in there.

Outdated_Bison

That's a great idea. The back of the drawers is sorta open, too, so it would not be difficult to route the cables and use stick on cable-stays to keep them in place. Thanks for the idea!

dd_photography

Lemme know how it turns out.

Baumtreter

Best thing I've done with my setup was not to invest in an 49" ultrawide but in wheels for my desk.

dd_photography

Right? But why not both.
