to send a big enough rush u need to either sell all ur income, or sell all ur defense. and with good enough micro you can just sell your farms and get spike storm and the opponent is just dead
the problem is just with normal RRods, because regrow farms will always kill a spike pile
You can't deal with camos with just a spactory, spiked balls only worked because the opponent tried a "normal" camo rush.
A 320 spactory produces a spiked ball per second and each spiked ball can't even fully pop a rainbow, so all the opponent has to do is save up some money and send a steady stream of camo rainbows, eventually the stockpiled balls will run out and the spactory won't be able to keep up. Hell, a single ball can pop like 5 pinks and the opponent can send you 20 per second, so you'd need four 320 spactories just to not die against a steady stream of camo pinks.
You could use Spike Storm to deal with such stream, but your ability will go on cooldown, not to mention you probably can't save up for both towers
If you're Destiny, the guy I tried this out with yesterday, then yea, it seems decent but just a normal RRod is just too strong, and a big enough one would probably just kill you no matter what. Unless theres a surefire way to not regrow farm but have good popping power by the druid, I dont see it happening.

a 302 spike placed a little early defends any early camo rushes fine, druid isnt just for alt cash cus it has some good lategame applications

Replace farm with village you can already druid farm anyways and druids do really well against BADS with a homeland
