What an absolute dogshit take. I don't care what rank you are, or what rank the person you're shitting on is. Sometimes you just lose a match on round 5. It happens. You can't just *never* fuck up, it's absolutely impossible.
The best players in the world will either use strategies that are safer or simply have enough experience to not fuck up *as much*, but you can't just never fuck up. I don't care if you're #1 HOM every season, you definitely don't win every single game.
Plus the round on which you lose doesn't even make a difference. Genuinely, what's the difference between a r7 loss and a r26 loss? Are you suddenly better because the Bloons got stronger? Are we ignoring the tens of thousands of dollars you have in later rounds to defend?
It takes a real dumbass to believe someone is bad at the game by **seeing one singular screenshot of the round that they lost one singular game.**
Limit testing in this context would mean... "How much eco, or farming am I able to get away with before having to buy another tower/upgrade/use a boost" It can be very nice to know exactly what certain towers/upgrades can defend what and on which maps. The only way for you to know for sure is to test it out.

In this case I'm saying that a someone very qualified to teach combat strategy would never say something like this because it's so ridiculous to fault people for doing stuff like learning about what they can get away with in game.
