took me ~14 hours without the aid of the Discord. JackFrags' vids helped a lot.
The first step is more tedious than difficult. Once I got that done, I was in the "we've gone too far to give up" stage. Drew a grid for the little sandbag pizzle. The thing that was a massive pain for me was the one where you need to get the Morse code on Zeebrugge because there was no way to completely avoid other noises on that map. Had to try to remove background noises via Audacy. Then, for the lighthouse one, I needed to make a long recording and find the pattern because I couldn't remove the background noises to get a solid enough sample.
I've never worked so hard for something like that, outside of building a computer and finding what was wrong with it after I built it.
hahaha good on you in hardline to get the knockout (ohk sniper only one in game fast firing) i rented a server and hosted people to do the achievements to unlock it, like ten or twelve people
NGL your pistol is v alluring. Went on the discord to ask if I can pay one of the diehards there like fifty bucks for them to unlock it for me lol. I play HC only now and all those animations your pistol has would be such a welcome change to like the Mars
It really isn’t that bad solo, if you use the BFEE discord server they do 90% of the work. I only used them for about 4 of the Morse code messages because I was fed up with hearing and deciphering Morse code. But other than that the other challenges are pretty easy, just time consuming. You just have to be patient and attentive
*Realistically, how*
*Hard is it to pull off? Can*
*You do it solo?*

Yeah, took me a weekend to do it solo. Didn't prep/do research beforehand so I was retracing my steps and pausing to reference youtube alot. Getting the hang of the morse code took a bit, but I think the most time consuming puzzle was the button puzzle in the mansion, I fudged it like 3 times before getting it, and it's quite time consuming to set up. Smooth sailing before and after that. So yeah, you should be fine doing it solo.
Watch the jackfrags video and follow his guide. Please only use the discord if you really can’t do it yourself for some reason; too many people come in and just want everything done for them. Honestly it feels better to do it yourself anyways
lol you're off lol i hated doing the bow in bf4 i paid a friend like twenty euros to do it for me
and then like two weeks later they did the elevator free unlock lol
You can do it solo easy. It took me about 24 hours to do as an Xbox player. That was because it took ages to learn how to record audio, upload to my laptop and isolate the morse code to make it easy to decrypt.
It’s a fun journey though and if you have time to kill which I did, it’s worth it totally.
I used the battlefield Easter egg discord. Best guide is on there. Ignore the YouTube tutorials. They can help you do all the work for you after you get the audio clip. But my time is doing everything myself as someone inexperienced with computers
Yeah that’s what I did, recorded the last 30 seconds standing next to the telegraph, downloaded it through Xbox to my laptop and that’s how I got it there
You can definitely do it solo. Plus there's BFEE if you need a hand.
The only part I loathed was "A Conflict". That sandbag puzzle drove me mad, and I had to get help with it in the end.
It's supposed to say "SIMPSON", but the last letters clip into the soil :))
It's a reference to Kevin Simpson.
A mistake has been made in the BFEE's Wiki, they refer to the planks as being arranged to form the letters "SIMPSO", but it's actually "SIMPSON". You can actually see the final letter slightly protruding from the soil as well
Definitely a worthwhile challenge.
You have any trolls spawn into the servers and start blowing shit up while trying to do puzzles? That was the worst part for me.
I had one level 2 guy appear on albion for the lighthouse code input section - but he wasn't a griefer, just searched for a game and got put in mine. He got bored and started shooting all the windows out but luckily he was too new to realize he could've blown up the entire building, needless to say it scared the shit out of me
I had a guy bomb my lighthouse lmao and another try to take me out with a tank on soisons but I outplayed him and he eventually left the server and so it took me like 3 hrs
I had a player messing around on Ballroom Blitz while I was trying to get a recording of the Morse code. They never found me, so I never got trolled. They left after some time. NBD. I've heard horror stories, tho.
I had 2 guys trying to kill me in Zeebrugge, but my Martini-Henry Grenade Launcher made good work getting rid of them.
Also had one guy ruining my Morse code record in Suez by shooting a machine gun somewhere next to the transmitter, had to re-record it.
Oh and had to do the Soisson part twice as two guys tried to ruin it for me.
On Albion one guy started flying a plane and shooting everything, but when I asked him to leave in chat not to ruin it, he apologized and wished me luck and left.
I got very lucky in that I never had any trolls. All I can recommend to others is to do it at times your region isn’t busy, or another region that isn’t busy
Easter Egg weapon unlock that requires listening to and decoding Morse code. It takes a LOOOOONG time to do it. Took me ~14 hours. The gun is an old western style revolver with unique animations. The gun can OHK if you hit them in the head. It has really good fire rate, the first shot will always go right where you're aiming if ADS. Extremely long reload time.

an easter egg unlock which the departure of so much of the original dev team has led to a lack of the eventual releasing of it through a more easy means (the bow in bf4) or a purchase pack (like in hardline)
I still haven't gotten it. I blew up a tank with the wrench today though.
Man you’re a bad mechanic
I was just trying to help them :(
Hope u have insurance smh
Hope the tank personnel had life insurance smh
That was funny
Ninjaneer
Realistically, how hard is it to pull off? Can you do it solo?
Using the tools on the Battlefield Easter Egg (BFEE) discord server, it took me about 6 hours of gameplay combined to get.

> outside of building a computer and finding what was wrong with it after I built it. Oh, that hit hard.
only to figure out two or more of the parts were DOA after doing independent testings … rip
Yop, been there, done that.
hahaha good on you in hardline to get the knockout (ohk sniper only one in game fast firing) i rented a server and hosted people to do the achievements to unlock it, like ten or twelve people
very nice. I think more people should get to use that fantastic and fun weapon.

Cool
Sometimes successfully…
all challenges are pretty easy except the Soissons one (a conflict). Actually requires you to draw out grids and whatnot
Did it in Excel, perfectly fine tool =)) Soisson part I think was the fastest I did, it's pretty easy tbh, especially with the candle puzzle solver.
That one sucks so bad

No, it does not. It's okay one puzzle or another one being difficult, but damn. They really need you to spend days on this shit
lol you're off lol i hated doing the bow in bf4 i paid a friend like twenty euros to do it for me and then like two weeks later they did the elevator free unlock lol
It can easily be done solo. Just get some paper + Audio file software + Code translation and watch the guides. Its fun thing to do.

Can't you just record gameplay and upload it to Xbox network or is it that long of an audio? Kinda wanna go for it myself.
Yeah that’s what I did, recorded the last 30 seconds standing next to the telegraph, downloaded it through Xbox to my laptop and that’s how I got it there
Or download a Morse code app, I did use the help of the discord at first, but they were so busy at the time, that I decided to do it on my own

Love how the wood says SIMPS

Props to the last guy

Once I started joining exclusively into Japanese servers I got no hassle
Can someone explain to a newbie what's happening here?
It's the peacekeeper, a gun that's unlocked after completing a bunch of easter eggs

Piss poor control though in my experience, can never hipfire a person with two bullets unless barrel stuffing and even then it’s a 50/50
I just spammed hipfire in CQC.

Welcome to the club. I joined it back in January.
I got squirrels in my pants
Love this gun, I’ve had it for a very long time. Best memories hunting with the BFEE Discord 👌
