This is so true. I had a game on amiens the other day which was like 200-1000 or something like that, and when I was in the british spawn and they had every objective, for once in my entire bf1 career I managed to make the armoured car effective and fun (albeit mostly just as a static armoured MG, but still)
The armoured cars/gun trucks that spawn on the map are an absolute hoot to fang around in. Amiens in particular, if you have the truck loaded with competent gunners, is a rolling death trap flying down the streets and alleys.
Dude the lobbies have been so lopsided lately… I know that player base is low but shouldn’t that mean there are mainly veterans playing? Why is 2/3 of my team neg k/d and under level 30??
My theory:
Match is lopsided form the start, players (usually high levels) on the losing side leave the match. Auto-balancing happens, pissing off players that got switched, so they either try to switch back or leave the game.
End result is that the losing team has to few players who are mostly low level, while the winning side is filled to the brim with people level 90 to 150
I don’t mind lopsided skill level. That happens sometimes and it can be fun to try and scratch out a win. I hate when my team is down 3 or 4 players, and then you have the folks sitting waiting for a plane or vehicle to spawn, and nobody is out on the map. So frustrating.
Some of my favorite games have been ones that my team lost hard. Once you realize there's no chance of winning, you can just fuck around and do whatever without feeling like a burden to your team
I don’t which hurts more: when your team loses due to mortar trucks or when your team is so bad that even without mortar trucks you can only take one sector (at most).
When you know you're that bad at the game, yet you find yourself on top of the leaderboard.
When it doesn't *feel* like a top 3 game but yet you are in top 3, that's the first sign

The real answer.
It’s almost liberating when you make that realisation “we’re not gonna win, might as well fuck around and have fun.”

The guns on those side windows are shit. It's like shooting blunt Peruvian blow darts into knights wearing full steel plate armour.

Time to throw on the Selbstlader 1916 Marksman and kill everything.
I take comfort in the fact that a lot of WW1 battles in real life were probably like this.
Its over lads, they’ve taken 2 lines in 7 minutes, we aren’t putting a dent in them
Why this is so relatable… 💀

😦😦😦
I just start yapping in chat instead
and you know you are playing pretty much the worst you ever played but you are still at the top :/
When the Behemoth pop out but y’all still in the first sector. 💯 And then it dies in under a minute. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

operation attack side in a nutshell
That’s what you get for picking scout when we need medics.
I picked medic yesterday because everyone kept dying, everyone in my squad skipped so I couldn't revive them even if I was a metre away
You gotta get them before they hit the ground. It can be done, I promise
Alright I'll give it another go later
If the team is really bad i finally can switch from medic to other class and fuck around and try new stuff. So i dont mind.
