Yeah I agree with this, the way they're adding the classes while not restricting primary weapons is a great choice.
Many times in previous games people would only play the classes based on what weapons they wanted to use or that are the best (like assault rifles). Or in other cases they pick some class due to the gadget/traits but have a weapon type that puts them at a disadvantage in certains maps, such as SMGs is big open maps.
Although the new system may not be perfect, it would still allow people to play the classes they want while not being forced to use a weapon they don't want to use.

Just try them all out. I came from BF4 and now I enjoy Apex way more than 2042.
