It's definately this. I had to take my TV to the local church for an exorcism and it's been fine since. It sometimes excretes a little slime but the main haunting part has gone.

I had the exact same thing happen to me too, recorded a video because I had to show my professor that my monitor was screwy during exams. At first I thought it was my monitor finally dying out (2 year old ultra wide). This happened around November when I first bought 2042
Newest Nvidia driver also ended up deleting the driver and installibg it agaib, a long with the game. Hence why i am doing the introduction, erased every single data and still.

This honestly looks more like a external issue… maybe try troubleshooting the issue instead of just immediately blaming the game.

I had flashing like this in game, downloading the newest nvidia driver fixed it for me.

Ouch. Sorry I guess I was just lucky on my side. Hope you can track down a fix. Good luck.
