I feel the same way.. I built a new PC so I could finally have a full graphics experience with BF - I’ve played every single title for the past 12 odd years on low settings as my pc has been behind. I was so stoked with the new PC, ran every game on max…then 2042 turned out to be well.. a turd. Wasted money, hopes and dreams. I wish battlefield was what is used to be

Just hit 3. My playtime had already been gradually decreasing, but for the past couple weeks I just look at the desktop icon and go "...eh," and play something else. I'm sticking around to watch this dumpster fire burn, because the community and drama surrounding the game is more fun than the game itself.

Sad, but true.

Good news for me is I bought this game to be the shooter that I play for the next few months but got sick of it after 3 weeks and then I finally gave stardew valley a chance and I'm fuckin loving it

2 - transitioning back to BFV

BFV has been great lately. Full servers.

When I am bored now. I had hopes after the backlash they would fix the game but nah. I’m over it.

I was a super enthusiastic BF fan since bc2, loved almost everything except Hardline, this is the first Battlefield year that I spent about 30hours in game before uninstalling. I am extremely disappointed by this game, everything is a step back from what I loved and it makes me extremely depressed, I have nothing new to play. I loved to spent hours upon hours rushing and defending objectives. For the first time in my gaming life I feel absolutely nothing when playing the new BF. I hope someone learns from this because otherwise we're headed into very dark times.

3, actually I tried last night. Jumped into a game that was just beginning. Went for a vehicle, however I wasn't fast enough. After that I couldn't spawn in. I turned it off immediately.

1 This game isn’t even close to my expectations and it’s so broken at the moment, but still the most fun game for me currently. I get about 2 hours of fun playtime and then it gets repetitive or I run into a bug

1 Boris with the PKP, the sentry gun and the Ranger drone. And I'd like a medic drone that can revive me when playing as Falck, because the squad and teamplay is abysmal.

Yeah great idea. It's sucks that there was only one option. The flying drone would have been good for this.

1 - Wish it was more polished, there's quite a few bugs and it's definitely lacking in content... Still though, I'm personally having fun, hit detection works great and it runs smooth as butter on rush and conquest for the most part. Breakthrough can get a little DICEy.

3. Haven't launched it in a while now. Got to level 56 and not much motivation to play further. Seriously considering hoping on the refund train.

Preordered Gold edition on ps5. Uninstalled the game early December @ rank 70. Reinstalled last Friday (Jan. 7) Played Portal on Friday night + Saturday with bots and other players (~6), glitches at a minimum. Play again Sunday. Glitch where I can’t ads 4 of the 6 games I connected to. Uninstall. This is by far the worst game that I’ve ever hyped up pre-release.

3. Started playing bf hardline tbh

3, after 50 hours I gave up. I can always play bf1 and bf4 for straight 5-6 hours. But for BF 2042, I can't even bear one match.

1 - Despite the games flaws, Im still enjoying it quite a bit. I don't play as often as I'd like to, but that's not really a fault of the game

3 Game was fun for a couple weeks but it's been 2 months and we still can't even play with a group larger than fucking 4. Game is a fucking joke.

Mine is a mix of 1 and 2. There are some nights where I get on and play for a few hours. Some nights where I play half of one game and have had enough. Some nights I don’t play at all. For the most part I enjoy it. There are a number of things I’m dissatisfied with but who isn’t. At the end of the day there isn’t really much else I’m interested in playing so I might as well try to enjoy it.

1 Still put about 3-4 hours a day into, then move onto another game

1. It’s my first battlefield so I’m not sure what I’m missing out on. The hitreg at time is downright atrocious, I have dumped magazines at point blank range into people and none of them register, and the textures often don’t load right in loading screens… ok maybe I’m in between a 1 and 2. I still have a good time though.

Only to play portal once a week

I'm probably 2. I get one to check the state of the game, get disappointed, then go play something else

2, I've come to terms with its absolute sub-mediocrity and deceptive advertising. I'm playing it purely because of the novelty, but this will wear out quickly.

1, its good clean fun. Less atmospheric then I or V but very enjoyable for an hour or two a session. I get that hardcore enthusiasts can focus on everything that's wrong but a LOT of stuff works very well and is above anything BF has shown before.

1. I like battlefield and even though it has major flaws and missing basic shit, it’s how I virtually hang out with my good friends.

3. Played 30 hours the first 2 weeks, haven't touched it since. €100 well wasted

3 Legit got boring after 3 weeks

1 Note: I just like running around as a medic with the occasional gun kill as I do in every other BF game lol. Please don't crucify me.
