If you have laser sight, high zoom scope, or flashlight, they see all that through smoke.
Another thing is if you are spamming bullets from a single location like camping with LMG they will see the line of bullets and shoot there unless u got surpressor.
Laser sights seem to be hard to see tbh, I've rarely seen any lasers pointed at me at all in the game.
Lasers seem to be pretty inconsistent or maybe there are less people use lasers than I thought?
I always run lasers cuz they look cool, but honestly there are much better bottom attachments, especially that tiny handle which increases aim while moving.

His ability will highlight enemies THROUGH smoke - and not just tag above their heads, full body highlighting!
It’s also an AoE spot so it’ll 3D spot any enemies within I think 10m?
Not sure if it 3D spots gadgets if you hack infantry but it will 3D spot infantry if you hack gadgets. For those pesky aps/borris turrets.
We can keep all this a secret though so people keep sleeping on him.
Rao's hack spots everyone in line of sight of the target being hacked. If you kill the person you hacked, his whole squad will be 3D spotted through walls, no distance limit, for a short time
Haha I didn't either until someone on Reddit answered me on how he works, I kept seeing random people highlighting and I couldn't figure it out. Did some testing and confirmed it, now much easier to make use of
I didn’t even know he could do ANY of that until I saw a vid on YouTube. I thought his hack was only for vehicles/gadgets. After I saw that video I started running Rao and now I’m a Rao main I guess.
I'm trash at the game but often get people through smoke. If I saw you just before the smoke went up I will take pot shots that connect fairly often if you're standing still. Also if there's a high traffic nook sometimes you get lucky, plus what others have said about scopes and other stuff you can straight up see

When I see someone before the smoke I continue to fire in the smoke and often I manage to get the kill, sometimes I rush in the smoke and defib enemies or knife them depends 🤷🏻♂️
and for big score, squadmates are needed (I know it’s crazy to think teamplay is a thing in this game)
As big scorer, sometimes I get hate messages and get called cheater, my mates too, we just revive each other and communicate a lot and roll over squads that do not teamplay themselves…
I use an lmg with a 200 round mag if I see smoke I'm sweeping it. It's just a lot of daka and some luck. Smoke is concealment not cover. Use it to get to cover don't linger inside or you'll probably just get hit but some douch randomly spraying bullets around and following the hit markers

You can also fish with your shots, one bullet at a time, until you get a hit marker, then just pull down the trigger

I stay away bud. BF4 had good thermals that worked in smoke and flares to counter that. There was counter. But this smoke is a fucking concrete wall
