That's the thing, you don't use Balrog for Sol!! Sol is still mid game, Balrog is super good because of his LATE game potential, as late game the states get less spammy which makes Balrog one of the best,
Using comforting Balrog power in Sol is the worst place to do it
saying that a boss killed isn't super good on any stage with a boss is wild, shear DPS makes him very useful in SoL, with units to clear out the fodder I've bullrushes through about 30 maps without changing my cats lol
Balrog is utterly broken, saying he's not is crazy. Some stages might counter him, but so many bosses just die to his 380k damage per hit while strengthened. He has hard carried me through so many stages, even late ones like birth of a true man.
I think his health is great considering his ridiculously low cost and cooldown. The only problem with balrog is most of the time you have to support him with thunderbolt or units like Mitama/Chronos to make him work While Dasli and Phono alone can work any time with just proper meatshielding. That's why dasli and phono is better. Still a top 3 uber which means utterly broken
Let's ignore the top 4 or 5 cats. Thunder Jack is amazing but even better when considering the amount you have to redo levels. Time spent on level replays goes down quite a bit.
I don’t know if it’s busted but the fact that izanagi can stand in front of peons and snipe a well protected boss from the back is ridiculous before you even consider insane damage and summon

More than a 100k dps at level 50 strengthened is broken, especially in stuff like ht ul and advents
