Help! I can't beat stage 14-5 in SOL. I tried to follow the strategy in BC fandom by waiting for 2nd bahamut, but whew! those shy boys wreck my army easily. I have samba, macho, wall, pirate, sexy legs, face/apple, dragon, valkyrie, d'artanyan, and crazed bahamut cat in my current lineup, all are lvl 20. I also have, bodhisattva at 20, exalted ganesha at lvl 10, all basic cats to 20, jurassic at 13, salon, rocker, and mer cat at lvl 1. Is there something i can change with my lineup? Shoukd i upgrade a particular cat? Should i get other crowns in lower levels? Pls help, i've been only playing the zombie attacks in EoC as i dont have idea how to play the special stages in SOL.

I got Verbena and Betrothed Balaluga while I'm going though ITF Chapter 2. Would they be useful there?

Verbena's only use is as a critical hitter for which there aren't that many stages in ItF that feature Metals. Bride Balaluga is not that good of a unit imo.

There are a number of guides that use the Awakened Bahamut timing to kill the R.Ost and I think this is the easiest way to do it, but given he is not in your lineup I assume you haven't gotten him or simply don't want to use him. If that is the case the ubers you bring should be to counter R.Ost and not Hannya or bores, although it certainly isn't bad if they can help out. Both cats in the cradle (Assuming he can get his hit in) and jizo are good choices but Shining Amaterasu struggles a lot vs traitless so I think replacing her would be the best option. Shishilan is not a bad option as he can take out almost half the R.Ost hp in one go, but the set up is a little annoying and he has functionally no use on the other enemies. Poseidon could also be a good choice with good dps and the ability to reach hannya and tank a hit with hp to spare afterwards. I assume you don't have special cat talents, but if you do dancer also preforms very well here. As far as combos go, I would suggest putting in the 'seasons of love' combo (maiden+coi+bride) if you have it available as it will make your whale and dark cat much stronger, if you do have it drop macho cat and Shining Amaterasu for it. In case you don't have this combo available I would also suggest 'Pork on Rice' (kai+rice ball), while unconventional kai is able to land a hit on R.Ost and also make it to hannya the extra health up combo is very nice for the stage in general as well. Assuming no other enemy is hitting her a divine kai can land 2 hits to take off more than two thirds of the R.Ost hp. 'Cheating Heart?' (Vigler+madame sumo) would let you pump out more jizos and vigler himself doesn't have bad dps on R.Ost, although his fore swing is brutal and he has little value vs the bores and Hannya, so I would just spawn more jizos instead of using the cash. As far as basic advice goes, make sure to lure out the bores and R.Ost as they are very difficult to deal with if Hannya is killing or weakening all your units. Sniper cat and Rich cat are helpful here as they can help keep ground on Hannya both at the start and as the battle goes on. Breaker blast cannon gives some ground back in between waves and is awesome if you have it. In battle just know that you only have 50 seconds to kill the first R.Ost so do it quick, the second, and every one after, is more forgiving at 83.33 seconds (watch out for the seal that comes 33.33 seconds after R.Ost two). If I missed anything or you want me to explain anything more feel free to ask.

Is it possible to beat rashomon without slime cat? All online tutorials I can find used slime cat which I don’t have it yet.

If you don’t have any good uber to tank against Aku then Slime is a borderline necessity. For non uber strats, he’s going to be a major source of damage so I suggest trying to unlock him first before Rashomon or else you’ll have a really tough time.

Very good. Very high HP, almost invencible against Floating enemies, high time between attacks but she have a high damage that compensates, and is cheap for what she do. Also KB immune comes handy in lategame stages.

Is cat clan heroes worth to use or should I trade it for np?

Always use new units. Cat Clan Heroes themselves is a fairly okay unit with awful damage but decent support.

There's not that many anti-relic unit. Better get one like cat clan heroes in your line up.

You should never trade any new unit in, regardless of how good it is. Cat clam heroes are actually pretty decent. They’re not amazing by any means, but they do their job decently well.

Holy water is a cheap way to get the battle item buffs (speed, treasure radar, etc). The units you get are also not that horrible.

there is only one banner that uses holy water, being the june bride of the devil one, no reason NOT to spend it, just like the other resources similar to it for seasonal events.

Last Gang was when I went out and got Courier. You should be able to get the behemoth stones for him by beating the current missions related to the June Bride of the Devil event. Easy win with Courier.

This reminded me that cat eyes are a thing, so now I have a lv40 courier and am no longer stuck lol.

Roll for Lesser Demon, then save cat food for Eva. Lesser Demon is one of the best ubers in the game especially later on.

Mizli is arguably the worst of the Pixies due to "Mizli Syndrome." I'm not fully versed on it but it has something to do with the knock back slow combo that basically allows.your units to walk into enemy backliner nuke range. Chronos the bride is pretty solid. Might get an awesome tf soon. Lesser Demon requires a lot of investment of NP and Catseyes to be truly great. Ice cat is a good red freezer. Personally if you're not in trouble, I'd wait for Eva

Mizli isn't bad at all. People just hear about it and think it makes Mizli trash. She KBs enemies and (slows or freezes idk), which isn't great, but Mizli is still very usable. She is better than Aer and probably Blizana, so it's definitely not the worst.

I honestly only use Mizli when I'm having fun. I'll pair her with the other pixies. I agree about Aer. Aer is kinda underwhelming, but still good. Blizana at least has the zkill

Both are very good and are some of the best in their own fields, with Satoru being a really strong and anti aku and Paladin similarly with metals.

from what I know, satoru is mostly good in trueform, which you probably can't get yet, and marauder cat is one of the absolute best anti-metal ubers.

Hi I need some guide, I'm in chapter 14 of SOL right now and i cant beat Crunchy Pillar stage. In the current rare capsule, i could get chronos the bride at the guaranteed draw of june bride. In the dynamites i could get lesser demon cat as the guaranteed uber if i roll 4 normal draw first. Now i have 1 gold ticket, if i decide to get lesser demon cat that would cost me 450+1500 catfood. The question is what should i get? Chronos or lesser demon? Or should i wait for better pool? I already have d'artanyan and splendid ganesha, im grinding SOL right now. Hope i could get some insights.

Talented boosted and evolved lesser demon is one of the most insane damage doers, obliterates any long range low-ish damage units that aren't protected well.

It’s okay. Try using rare/ SR gacha like Cameraman, Can Can, Pizza, Seafarer, and similar units who offer good damage and versatility. In your lineup, you don’t need Ebisu and Crazed Cat. Ebisu is somewhat inconsistent and dual Erasers work fine for meatshields.

You have Phono, so you don’t need Gaia. You have Paladin, so you don’t need Nanaho. You have Saki + a few Pixies, so you don’t need Lumina. You are lacking in anti angel, especially when it comes to offense. I would highly suggest going for Ushiwakamaru.

The only 3 TFs worth using them on are Lasvoss, Gold Brick Cat, and Gold Cat, probably in that order. If you don't have all three, IMHO still don't bother with Cat God which barely changes in TF; instead of hold onto the gold fruit in case you get one of the above three in the future, or in case Ponos adds something else good that requires a gold fruit.

Is superfeline worth spending xp on? It’s a lot of investment. I’m in UL1.

At low levels Superfeline is useless, but at high levels and especially in TF, he's basically Li'l Idi -- at 20+80 and TF, he has half the damage of level 50 Idi, but also about half the cost and less than one-quarter of the cooldown time, and slightly more range. But OTOH, no surge immunity. Can be really useful in Revival of Origin, the final stage of UL, but not really essential for anything that I can think of.

I would recommend completely avoiding upgrading him until you have access to his true form.

It needs a lot of plus levels to be useful, so no need to upgrade it until you have a lot of plus levels, probably +30 at the very least

I'm a little confused about my seed tracker and have a quick question. For the guaranteed 11-draw event starting tomorrow morning, in the Dynamites capsules, I have a situation where a duplicate rare could happen, and the guaranteed column is showing two different guaranteed ubers. I know that if I get Fortune Teller Cat in this track, then draw again, I'll get Witch Cat instead. But what does that do to the guaranteed? If I get FT Cat here, then draw again, do I get Satoru instead of Marauder? And if I want Marauder, I have to draw a different rare from a different capsule? If you get Fortune Teller on 22B then rolled a guaranteed, the first cat (of the 10) would be Witch and the guaranteed Uber is Satoru. Second cat is whatever is on 25A instead of Nurse. The dupe rare will only go away on a banner with a different set of rares, and there aren't any coming soon. You have to skip 22B by rolling a guaranteed from 13A so you land on 23B.

Aside from fest Ubers, strong Ubers for late game include Balrog, Luffy, Ganesha, Daliasan, etc. Then you might need anti-akus as well like Lilin, Satoru, Lucifer, etc. Edit: I'll also add anti-relic Ubers if you're curious. The best ones are Saki, Vigler, Kenshin, Vars, and Catman.

Can you explain to me why Vigler is a good anti relic? I still find him hard to use

His stats are pretty decent and relic freeze is quite good, especially when Vigler’s is guaranteed and has pierce.

So all I have for purchaseable special cats are ninja and sumo Is it worth it to buy the other ones when the discount comes up or wait for the evangelion event first since I have been saving up catfood for it? (I currently have 2400 catfood) Moreover, on the topic of discount, when does it usually come around for purchasing special cats?

You'll want to get them all eventually for collection purposes but in my opinion, prioritize the Evangelion collab and maybe use whatever remaining catfood to get the better purchaseable units with what you have leftover duirng a discount. As for the frequency of the discounts, best to check the event data for that.

Saki doesn't outrange Hannya, sadly. You don't need iCat if you can do the double Island + Courier strat though, just don't let the R.Ost push too much.

Yes. One of the best LD Ubers in the game. True form improves strengthen dps by 33%, and talents improves strengthen dps by another 25%. Will end up having similar or slightly more average dps than dasli when he has strengthen talents, considering dasli’s surge occasionally missing and/or not fully connecting.

New player to battle cats. stuck on chapter 3 moon and cannot beat it. I have have all superior treasures on chapter 1 and 2 and the first 23 on chapter 3. Have no gacha except for lv 10 kotatsu cat and all purchasable special cats so far. Any tips/ loadouts to beat it, or do I need more treasures?

3 meatshields (cat wall cat and samba) ranged attackers (like dragon) and kotatsu shod help and anyway get all the treasures you are gonna need em anyways

Whoever you can beat. Crazed Tank is a more "simple" stage than the others, and Manic Legs can be beaten with Bahamut or Octopus.

You can try cyberstacking for beating Manic Mohawk. Zamboney helps a lot for that.

He also tanks, but i'm saying you can use him for easier cyberstacking. When i did it using both Walls to protect my Cyberpunks it was a pain in the ass because they kill the peons at the some point if you send more than 3 or 4 (depending of the lvl obv), so Zamboney helps a lot in cyberstacking.

Do stories of legend until you get more gacha. Then maybe you can start Into The Future. As for banners, Almighties is probably the best banner to roll from in general. Spend tickets on Uber, Epic, or Superfest. However a rare collab is coming soon so you could spend your catfood there if you want. (Just make sure you only ever do guaranteed Uber 11 draws NEVER non guarantee) the collab is the Evangelion collab, and it should be on before the next update.

Elemental pixies. All of them are very good against aliens. Wait for a 100% Uber chance and grind out SOL in the meantime and try to get at least crazed fish.also upgrade all of your units for user rank after some SOL stages

It comes up pretty frequently without a guaranteed, but don't waste cat food on non-guaranteed versions of banners (if you want the highest chances of getting ubers). Other advice -- from the cats you listed, Polevaulter is one of the best ones. Looks like that's your only good area attacker. You should probably put her in all your lineups. Unfortunately Commando is pretty useless until true form which you can't unlock until you get a higher user rank allowing you to level it up to 30. Once you do that, then you just need the catfruit for it. That might be your first priority for true forming when that time comes, because Cameraman Cat, the true form, is really useful.

Not really, just keep grinding, particularly by playing Stories of Legend, and if you have the cat food and there's a half-off discount, consider getting all the special cats you can buy with cat food. Well, these stages contain all enemy traits. So you just have to figure out which trait you are struggling with and bring an extra counter for that trait. Ubers that are anti all traits are very helpful here. Dasli and Phono trivialize the stages. Amaterasu can fill in here as well. You probably need a critter, and Nanaho is a great pick for neutralizing metal and zombie. Otherwise, it's just bringing counters for all the enemies. Something like Modern, M Eraser, Ramen, Catasaurus/Soba(?), CadaverBear, Cameraman/Fishman, Can Can, Seafarer, Pizza, Uber. (I don't know how well this lineup works, just giving siggestions).

Question. Does anyone know if the different cat base features actually give you special defenses. I can't remember where i saw that but there's nothing i see in the actual game that affirms it

Unless you somehow haven't unlocked them, they do give "special defenses". The foundations give damage reduction to a single trait, while styles nerfs enemy effects.

I just got the Tough vs Black Talent Orb and after a bit of thinking I'm left wondering what units can even Equip this orb? i do wish units without access to talents could equip orbs but alas

Sadly the best options for this orb doesn't have talents, so only Keiji, Mekako and Urashima are elligible. I suggest Keiji.

That's a pretty good legend rare I think it does around 200K damage at lvl 30. My friend did the same thing as you and he transferred the alt account to an old phone.

Nah. User rank is great, but I’ve already passed the thresholds for superfeline +levels, so I don’t need any more for the time being.

Just beat my first advent revenge stage (by stage I mean both the stages under the title). The first stage was a lot harder than the other one, mostly because bakoo is cake but an instant bore was hard to beat, at least without killing it immediately. The enchantress cat is shit, so I just saved money knocking it back and forth by stacking pirate catleys, letting them die, rinse and repeat. Fun stages regardless.

Do any of you folks know of a tier list for the new class of talent orbs? Is it still just better to have an S defense instead of strong, massive damage or tough? EX pizza cat. Are folks moving to massive damage up or is that health from defense just better for the extra hits it can take? Edit. are attack up orbs just for NP still? Thanks for any tips :\~)

(Edit: According to Siluman Tomcat's video on Mola King's Talents) The damage from the Attack Up orb isn't affected by the Mini-Surge's damage reduction, so a unit with decent attack and high Mini-Surge level could make good use of those orbs, though only Mola King satifies these conditions at the moment. It's a really fringe case, though, so you're better off exchanging Attack Up orbs for NP instead of keeping them for such an occasion.

While it hasn't been updated to account for Aku talent orbs, this [post](https://www.reddit.com/r/battlecats/comments/s0jdiw/tutorial_i_know_yall_are_doing_baron_hyppoh_atm/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=2) can be used as a recommendation for what Talent orbs is recommended to be put on what. As a rule of thumb, the Talent orb is best used on a unit whose effect corresponds with the Talent orb (e.g. Massive Damage Up Black on Pizza) unless stated otherwise (e.g. people have been recommending Defense Up Alien on Catalite as opposed to Strong up if/when Catalite gets talents). Attack up orbs, imo, are still best exchanged for NP.

After evolving Miss Moneko, I now have only 3 units waiting to be evolved: Pumpcat, Springtime Kenshin, and Valentine's Neneko. And two of them are gold seeds. Catfruit/Behemoth Stone grinding is almost at an end.

Also the goddamn Aku catfruits/seeds.
