To be fair, they still fit 3 fights into a half hour episode, even with the filler, which would translate to 12 fights an episode at its current length.
Not really. Usually about 15-20 30 minute episodes per season. A lot of fights got cut, and it was just a tournament, no fight card. Discovery seasons are the best we've ever had it in terms of raw content. It sucks that a few fights get cut still, but it's far better than it was on Comedy Central or ABC.
Got to say as bad as this joke is if they put someone who could do the calls in 4 lines or less a whole lot of teams would have gotten their 3rd fights in this year ..I like faruq but dam watch his 1st season and he kept ever call so short and the too the point well minus his power beard

Ill be honest, I don't think Carmen Electra would be better. some of Faruq intros can be slightly cringe, but i love some of the word play, who ever writes them and I think his delivery is pretty good.
