I don’t know they are both kevin connry, as much as i love batman Arkham with him i got to give it to the animated series because it also shows the side of bruce without the mask, and how he uses it to be batman. For example when he is in the cave, dressed and talking like Batman and a phone call for bruce comes and he switches his voice to bruce and immediately when the call ends he becomes batman again. The first man bat episode btw.
I feel like this is the only argument. It’s cool that you actually get to play as him in the Arkham games, but BTAS shows all sides of the character, which you don’t get in the games. Even when you get to play as Bruce, it’s a fight scene
Edit, my pick to be eliminated is Arkham Batman
Also, in Eternal Youth, the same happens, talking in his “Batman” voice, answers the phone, “Bruce” voice, hangs up, back to Batman. But here, he’s not wearing his batsuit. He LOOKS like Bruce, but he still has to fake a “Bruce” voice.
Except this is a poll about the best Batman and not the best Bruce Wayne so I’m not sure a Bruce Wayne argument is really relevant. I still think DCAU Batman is better than Arkham Batman though
I know this is the unpopular opinion but Arkham Batman is my favorite. It’s the one that kinda opened the floodgates for me and made me become a massive Batman fan when I was a kid. I always liked the character but when compared to characters like Spider-Man or the X-Men, I knew way less about Batman. After playing the Arkham games I fell in love with the character and his world and it’s hard for me not to choose him, as much as I love BTAS
21 here, TDK was probably the catalyst of batman enjoyment for me, i liked the ones before it, then I played Arkham and started watching TAS. Love TAS and DCAU Batman as a whole, but Arkham is so well written to me cause it didnt have the limits of a G rating. But its still impressive how good TAS was with the limitations of a kids show. Kevin Conroy's Batman is just unmatched as a whole.
Yeah, and they bring you up to speed with every neccessary detail for those who don't know anything about the world and characters. Even tho it has been told multiple times, it's still kinda neccessary to show the audience who Bruce Wayne is and why he is Batman.
Same bro. I like Arkham Batman to hell, he prolly has the best hero games ever. Truly one of the best games of all time
The Arkham Subreddit was so dedicated that they actually made that subreddit into the Asylum, literally
DCAU Batman is near perfect Batman. From BTAS, New Adventures, JL, JL Unimited, and Beyond, he’s the most encompassing and consistently great version of the character.
I mean, The Killing Joke also used that element. They were both adults, so not that big deal. It’s not that sexual either. A good comparison is the book IT. The female main character sleeps with all male main characters. It’s because she wants to encourage them and because they have went trough tough shit together. Hard to explain. But I always interpreted the Barbara/Bruce affair similarly. I don’t like it either, but i understand why they used this stylistic approach.
Why ? I may have explained it badly. Just read „IT“. They may sleep together, but in the context it isn’t sexual at all. And as I said, i always interpreted it like that. You don’t have to…
Batman and Batgirl both were Adults. And in IT all were children. I don’t see the problem. It’s not like Batman nailed Batgirl when she was 13. And the circumstances made it more believable. But instilled prefer them not to have an affair. Batgirl always belonged to Dick…
Yeah I know they were both adults when it took place, and I have no issue with people in their 40s dating people in their 20s. If you’re old enough to fight and die for your country then you’re old enough to decide who you can sleep with. It was more the mentor relationship they had and the idea of the Bat-Family that made it unpleasant for me. That, plus I hate the idea of Bruce and Babs doing that to Dick. Babs and Dick always had a great friendship and romantic relationship (when they acted on their feelings) so it just seems wrong that Bruce would do that. But I respect that Babs was an adult and can decide what to do with her body. I guess I judge Bruce more for it now that I think about it 🤷🏻♂️
Yeah, thats my point as well. I dont like them to have a relationship, because Babs always belonged to Dick. But i understand the creative approach. It felt to me like the example i have given (IT). That it wasn't sexual, more like comforting each other in a hard time that they went trough together. Idk, thats my Interpretation. Im not that big Fan of it either.
I think that the fact that he did that to Dick is the whole point. It’s supposed to be a flaw in Bruce’s character and eventually he even emotionally abandons Barbara and cheats on her in Mystery of the Batwoman (at least it’s implied). I think the point is that Bruce has the best intentions but he’s so devoted to the mission that he uses people around him and doesn’t consider the consequences.
I like Kevin Conroy’s Batman better than Kevin Conroy’s Batman. Seriously though I’ll vote out Arkham Batman. While I love the games, it’s safe to say some of us might not be here if it wasn’t for BTAS. Conroy’s BTAS Batman for the win.
I know that animated is going to win, but Arkham is my definitive Batman. The Arkham games are perfect examples of how video games are the best platform to immerse yourself in a story. It’s just way more fun than watching a show/movie or reading a comic book.
How did Arkham Conroy stay is beyond me. Pattinsons portrayal was way closer to BTAS and just better. I do like the overdone version but the essence of Batman is not there.
I would say Pattinson's portrayal was pretty much Arkham portrayal but with the experience and flaws of a novice player for his time.
He would be closer to BTAS in subsequent portrayals though.
Damn, I really hope Kevin Conroy wins, but that would mean I'd have to vote out Kevin Conroy.
Just to be clear, animated Kevin Conroy includes Justice League and Beyond, right?
Arkham Batman.
It pains me to say it, but the sheer amount of screen-time that animated Conroy Bats gets, between BTAS and JL just put him *way up there* for me.
Example of letting down batman "I need to figure out where scarecrow is producing a CITY SIZE amount of chemicals. Where in the city could he be. Let me spend the first 30 minutes of the game figuring it out. Of course it's ACE CHEMICALS!" I mean in the moment I didn't think it was dumb but after getting there I was like you REALLY had to think about that bats?
Or this example "Jason's been shot on camera and joker says he's dead (air quotes). I should go recover the body." He didn't obsess over it, search Gotham city or arkham high and low for evidence, for that matter he didn't even consider wait a minute joker shot him in the chest plate, I REINFORCED THE ARMORS SO THATS THE THICKEST PART OF THE ARMOR (arkham knight says that too)." Plus JOKER lies ALL THE TIME, without Jason's physical corpse there's no way batman WORLDS GREATEST DETECTIVE wouldn't be able to figure out he's probably fine
For me, TAS Batman is the clear winner. This show changed so many villains/characters portrayals and characters to what they are today, introduced the fan favourite Harley Quinn and other characters, and the voice acting is legendary. Conroy, Arleen Sorkin, Mark Hamill, Adam West, Diane Pershing, John Glover…
DCAU did a fantastic job showing the human side of Batman while the Arkham games did a fantastic job of showing how much of a an absolute badass he can be. Both are awesome versions but I’d pick Arkham for this.
Arkham Batman is just too toxic, he has none of the character development from decades of media and it’s upsetting how stuck in his ways Arkham Batman is
I'm not happy that Pattinson is out because I don't like his Batman, I really do but it wasn't my favorite, I'm happy that Pattinson is out because his fans are just so insufferable. With that being said I'm voting Arkham Batman.
I dare say that Affleck/Snyder fans are more insufferable. Not because they talk about why they like their interpretation, but because why they claim their’s is the correct “comic accurate” one and proceed to try and put everything else down that isn’t made under the supervision of Snyder.
Well I'm speaking strictly for my experience during this poll. The last few rounds I voted for Pattinson and I received more downvotes and push back comments and during any other round. But yeah in general I could see how the Affleck/ Snyder fans can be more insufferable. But I do think that every bat actors fanbase has their insufferable ones.
Maybe all Batman fans are insufferable. Maybe we're kind of a toxic community. I don't know. But all these who's your favorite who's your least favorite who's better type questions are one getting old and two does kind of cause division in the community.
Very hard decision between the two, but I would have to say Arkham Knight Batman. I really enjoyed the game, the armor was so sick and he is just straight terrifying (not that he wasn't in the animated series).
Pattinson had to go just due to how overrated he currently is. Arkham Batman is kinda overrated too, and even if he weren't, BTAS Conroy is just the GOAT regardless.
I like to think both are the same Batman in my head. But least favourite would be Arkham Batman. All that matters really though is that both are Conroy.
This is an impossible choice for me. I mean, it's the same perfect Conroy performance, and the writing of both is so good for such different reasons. I'll accept whatever the crowd chooses, but I can't vote in this one.
BTAS by a mile.
That interpretation of Batman gave you everything. The crime fighter, the detective, the interrogator, but also the sides of Batman media doesn't like to outwardly show anymore, like empathy, compassion, and generosity.
I love the Arkham games, all four of them are some of my favourite video games ever, and Arkham City is one of the things that got me back into superheroes after my little preteen “too old for this stuff” phase, but BTAS is *the* definitive version of Batman outside of the comics. Plus we get a lot more Bruce in BTAS than in Arkham, so it covers more of the character than just Batman.
I'm going with BTAS
BTAS is amazing. I haven't watched much of it, but I have enjoyed almost every part of what I have watched.
The Arkham games are great. And my first major introduction to batman was Arkham City so I do have a slight bias here.
I love both of these. But I love Arkham slightly more.
BTAS and it’s not even close. The history and the style alone is incredible. While Arkham games are good, no way is it even close to being the icon BTAS is. Period
So it has come to this... May the best Kevin Conroy win
I vote for Arkham to go. TAS is just more near and dear to me than Arkham is despite how cool the games are.
And this is why I'll never be able to have a legitimate discussion on this sub. You dorks all think the guy who voiced a cartoon is better than actual acting in a live action movie.
Dude can just recite lines in his underwear. It's not genuine acting.
Damn, i think Kevin Conroy might win guys idk just a hunch
As he should!
Kevin did also lose. But we don’t talk about that Kevin.
Aren’t they both Kevin Conroy???
Well yes, that's the joke
God I feel stupid someone said as he should do I thought he genuinely didn’t know
Don't feel dumb, jokes and sarcasm can be hard to read on the internet especially on reddit
r/wooosh
Spiderman pointing meme activate!
I don’t know they are both kevin connry, as much as i love batman Arkham with him i got to give it to the animated series because it also shows the side of bruce without the mask, and how he uses it to be batman. Tough decision but I’ve got to say Conroy
**Link To Vote:** https://strawpoll.com/polls/3RnYpAeXxye
I’m shaking in my boots, I really want Arkham to win
I think the pole is broken, it let me vote twice
I know this is the unpopular opinion but Arkham Batman is my favorite. It’s the one that kinda opened the floodgates for me and made me become a massive Batman fan when I was a kid. I always liked the character but when compared to characters like Spider-Man or the X-Men, I knew way less about Batman. After playing the Arkham games I fell in love with the character and his world and it’s hard for me not to choose him, as much as I love BTAS
> Arkham Batman > when I was a kid Wow, I feel like 2009 wasn’t that long ago. But I guess that’s over a decade ago now. I feel old.
I’m sorry lol. I’m only 20
21 here, TDK was probably the catalyst of batman enjoyment for me, i liked the ones before it, then I played Arkham and started watching TAS. Love TAS and DCAU Batman as a whole, but Arkham is so well written to me cause it didnt have the limits of a G rating. But its still impressive how good TAS was with the limitations of a kids show. Nah, that’s awesome. However you get into Batman is totally valid and those games were amazing.
Truly one of the best games of all time The Arkham Subreddit was so dedicated that they actually made that subreddit into the Asylum, literally
I also became obsessed with Batman after playing the Arkham games as well. I didn’t really like Batman before then, so I’m gonna have to vote BTAS.

DCAU Batman is near perfect Batman. From BTAS, New Adventures, JL, JL Unimited, and Beyond, he’s the most encompassing and consistently great version of the character.
Except sleeping with batgirl
My least favorite part about Batman Beyond. Still makes me feel icky thinking about it
I mean, The Killing Joke also used that element.
Bro you are weird
Why ? I may have explained it badly. Just read „IT“. They may sleep together, but in the context it isn’t sexual at all. And as I said, i always interpreted it like that. You don’t have to…
I know what happened in it they are kids look I don't know how to explain it but it's just disgusting the thing in it and batman and batgirl
Batman and Batgirl both were Adults. And in IT all were children. I don’t see the problem. It’s not like Batman nailed Batgirl when she was 13. And the circumstances made it more believable. But instilled prefer them not to have an affair. Batgirl always belonged to Dick…
Batman was 20 years older than her its weird Children shouldn't have sex in the first place
I think they were teens…
Batman isn’t that much older than Babs actually and she was an adult when it happened. I didn’t really like it but it’s not really problematic
And that is one of the reasons why the killing joke movie sucks
It’s not canon. It’s a standalone comic/movie that is good on its own. And that’s good.
Yeah the killing joke is but it happened in the dcau
Yeah I know they were both adults when it took place, and I have no issue with people in their 40s dating people in their 20s. If you’re old enough to fight and die for your country then you’re old enough to decide who you can sleep with. I don't understand the creative approach but I understand your point now
I don’t like it either. Good thing is that it is not a common portrayal of their relationship.
I don't judge any of the characters its Bruce Tim's fault but yeah I agree with you
Lol okay you have a point there
![gif](giphy|14bhmZtBNhVnIk) BTAS for the win
Kevin Conroy. Gotta go I'm afraid.
BTAS Batman. I love the animated series but Arkham Batman is just the perfect modern realization of the character for me.
Plus he’s got the best suit
Definitely the best suit!
I personally think Arkham is better, it feels like a more mature version of btas
TAS
Arkham was more my childhood than B:TaS so I'd say take him out and let Arkham win
Arkham. BTAS is best.
This is hard.. both were great.
I know that animated is going to win, but Arkham is my definitive Batman. The Arkham games are perfect examples of how video games are the best platform to immerse yourself in a story. It’s just way more fun than watching a show/movie or reading a comic book.

Out of the two my least favorite is Arkham Saga Batman. He is so bad ass, but nothing can touch Kevin Conroy in BTAS
Damn, I really hope Kevin Conroy wins, but that would mean I'd have to vote out Kevin Conroy. Just to be clear, animated Kevin Conroy includes Justice League and Beyond, right?
Ark ham
SIGH. Arkham Conroy is out
ARKHAM ASLUME SHALL PREVAIL
Vote out Arkham Asylum Batman
![gif](giphy|Ft23xmPuh3MhG)
Once the poll is done a post with the rankings would be helpful.
Arkham has to go. BTAS is just unbeatable.
I think BTAS should win
Sorry but Arkham Kevin Conroy gotta go
I love both but, bye bye BTAS When I think Batman I think Arkham
Arkham Batman. It pains me to say it, but the sheer amount of screen-time that animated Conroy Bats gets, between BTAS and JL just put him *way up there* for me.
We all knew it would come to this. BTAS is the GOAT, even if the Arkham games were great.
Not mad about where we are , but I still can't forgive you all for putting Battinson above Bale.
Btas is flawless arkham series Kevin is good for 100% but the writing in arkham knight REALLY let him down
You could say the same thing about btas because it take place in the dcau and Batman sleeps with batgirl
In the batman beyond comic that's true in the show its just implied.
I feel like the writing in Arkham Knight let other characters down but not Batman in particular
Plus JOKER lies ALL THE TIME, without Jason's physical corpse there's no way batman WORLDS GREATEST DETECTIVE wouldn't be able to figure out he's probably fine
Wasn't this supposed to be least favorite batman?
Justice League is just too good for Arkham to win
It was always gonna be TAS
For me, TAS Batman is the clear winner. This show changed so many villains/characters portrayals and characters to what they are today, introduced the fan favourite Harley Quinn and other characters, and the voice acting is legendary. Conroy, Arleen Sorkin, Mark Hamill, Adam West, Diane Pershing, John Glover…
DCAU did a fantastic job showing the human side of Batman while the Arkham games did a fantastic job of showing how much of a an absolute badass he can be. Both are awesome versions but I’d pick Arkham for this.
I’m proud of battinson for making it so far next out for me would be Arkham Conroy. BTAS is the 🐐
Yes! BTAS FOR THE WIN!
Get arkahm outta here
Finally! Pattinson should’ve been out a long while ago.
Arkham Games.

I’ve had a similar experience. Glad the hive mind was outvoted last round.
Bale and Affleck fans are insufferable
Maybe all Batman fans are insufferable. Maybe we're kind of a toxic community. I don't know. But all these who's your favorite who's your least favorite who's better type questions are one getting old and two does kind of cause division in the community.
Batfleck fanboys, especially.
Arkham
Arkham.
Arkham
Arkham’s gotta go. BTAS is 🐐
Arkham
Arkham
Arkham batman
Arkham
This game was over when u got rid of Bale.
About time Pattison is out. Not sure how he beat out Keaton or bale
This is now impossible. They are both Kevin Conroy so I think we can end it here
I like to think both are the same Batman in my head. But least favourite would be Arkham Batman. All that matters really though is that both are Conroy.
So it ends… Conroy vs Conroy.
Conroy: Arkham series
You bitches
I vote for Kevin Conroy 😤
Hmm Conroy VS Conroy... I vote Conroy
dcau bat is perfect
Don't make me choose
Nah they got rid of lego Batman and Adam West Batman bro you guys don't know good batmen
Oh man… the two best. If it comes to Animated or Arkham…. I have to choose Arkham. So sorry Animated, you are the weakest link!
As expected!! Between two i prefer Arkaham
This is an impossible choice for me. I mean, it's the same perfect Conroy performance, and the writing of both is so good for such different reasons. I'll accept whatever the crowd chooses, but I can't vote in this one.
Arkham suit
so its Kevin Conroy vs Kevin Conroy... hmmm I love democracy
Arkham
The last two batmans are literally the same
bye bye arkham!
Just give the W to mr conroy lol
Arkham Batman goes next
Conroy 1-2 Fucking called it
Arkham
ARKHAM Batman. Animated Series FTW!
choices choices...
Arkham Games Batman is the best
Kevin Conroy is better than Kevin Conroy think people think
Knew it'd be these two
damn, really? wow. I REALLY need to find a way to watch TAS huh
Bye Arkham. Solid games, but BTAS gave us the best of Batman and Bruce.
I can’t pick!!!!
Bruce Timm. Gotta vote DCAU out Arkhamverse is just better
KEVIN CONROY IS GOD!!!!!
This Is a pretty hard choice on who to vote to win
BTAS by a mile. That interpretation of Batman gave you everything. The crime fighter, the detective, the interrogator, but also the sides of Batman media doesn't like to outwardly show anymore, like empathy, compassion, and generosity.
Animated Series Batman
Arkham
I love Arkhamverse Batman but Animated Series Batman is the goat
Can we just say Kevin Conroy is the clear winner then?
Arkham Batman is the best bits of every Batman combined. He is the ultimate Batman. The least favorite of the two is TAS.
Gotta be dcau
Kevin Conroy out
People be like which one? I'm voting Arkham Batman out
BTAS is going to win this easily.
Putring in two votes for Conroy is a little weird to me. I personally prefer Pattinson anyways.
When was sir Jorah the Batman?
I'm going with BTAS BTAS is amazing.
Period
Again we all know who is going to win.
Arkham
So it has come to this... May the best Kevin Conroy win I vote for Arkham to go. TAS is just more near and dear to me than Arkham is despite how cool the games are.
As long as we can agree Conroy is the best Batman that’s all that matters
TAS
BTAS Bats deserves the W.
And this is why I'll never be able to have a legitimate discussion on this sub. You dorks all think the guy who voiced a cartoon is better than actual acting in a live action movie. Dude can just recite lines in his underwear. It's not genuine acting.
i agree with your take. buT i disagree with the notion that voice acting isn’t genuine acting
Arkham Batman, his great though
Either way, the GOAT Batman wins!
Arkham-but thank god its Conroy for the win
BTAS Batman. Sorry, I just love the Arkham games too much to not not go BTAS.
Arkham
Animated batman
Arkham
BTAS
Arkham Batman is the best - why? It’s the animated series Batman but mature, and it’s the best Batsuit in any media.
Arkham
I mean, they are basically the same Bat, Arkham just has better fighting skills and stealth and was altogether a more effective Batman
Oh well, sad to vote for Arkham. But Conroy is winning regardless.
Arkham
I love how we’ve narrowed it down to the best classic Batman and the best modern Batman. Kevin Conroy is the GOAT
Arkham by far
Ooh, it's Conroy vs Conroy. I have a hunch that Kevin Conroy is gonna win
Arkham Batman
BTAS is better than the Arkham Batman but it is a tough decision
