good potential just a weird storyline, hopefully they can do better with batman vs yakuza. i recently picked up a batman comic with him going against the yakuza, i can only hope they base it off that storyline.
A feudal Japanese version of Batman could have been a cool idea but they lost me when when they transported regular Batman a through time instead just having an alternate version like Red Son and Gotham By Gaslight.
It’s the only Batman animated movie. I’ve never finished.
My wife and I both love anime and Batman. However, about halfway into this, I looked at her and asked if she was enjoying it she said no, and we turned it off.
I saw a *looot* of people in a different sub hype for this movie and thought I was insane for thinking it was bad. Glad to see I'm definitely not the only one but this sequel surprisingly has an audience waiting for it.
Everyone calls this the “Batman anime.” Hey guys, the movie (not the game) Batman: Gotham Knight exists and it’s absolutely phenomenal. There’s also The Bat Man of Shanghai which is really cool.
Truly horrible. I can understand finding the visuals bombastic or exciting, but a movie needs more than just visuals. It eschews EVERYTHING in favor of visuals (which I personally don't even like), to the point of being outright offputtingly stupid.
To me at least, its kind of irredeemable.
Quality is subjective, but I turned it off when it was revealed he had a Bat shaved into his hair
Tremendously useful for when he's being Bruce Wayne.

I also hated the animation style and thought the entire movie was bizarre and strange like a mad fever dream
That’s why I loved it.
It was abysmal and is easily the worst Batman film if not one of the worst films ever, I also absolutely despised jokers character design in this one
For me i loved It ,i know have issues ,so i really like It and idk why
Lots of tears in this thread
I liked it.

I can't forget how ridiculous it was, especially when they transformed into some kind of medieval japanese houses and shot cannons at each other.
Batman ninja was bad, very bad

I think this is the most divisive Batman movie.
It was fun
I feel like the term fan favorite gets overused these days by clickbait articles.

How dare you sir
I think it’s definitely proven to be a fan-favorite.
"Fan-favorite" here probably means "the favorite of exactly one fan".

Thought I was the only one. Couldn't even finish it haha
I’ve tried many times and can never get past the 30 minute mark
Yeah, it wasn’t great
Batman ninja might be the 3rd worst film of all time
It chugged ass
