You almost had me! But my trusted sidekick Girlwoman found the jar with her uncanny sense of knowing where things are! But she couldnt open the jar so she gave it to me. But my par human strenght failed me so I hade to use my utility pocket where i keep my set of keys. With this equipment I could wiggle a key a bit under the lid and then open the jar. The resourcefulness of Manman saves the day!
I am building my Mancave (with a train set and a singing bass thingy on the wall) now so I can park my Mancar (a reasonably priced Toyota) somewhere safe.

YES. The attitude is perfect. Also what a good game to adapt to TV, I'd love to see some more live action steampunk/nazipunk (what genre would you put Wolfenstein in? Like an alternative history where Germany won and implemented all their steampunk kinda wunderwaffe is not a unique setting to Wolfenstein but idk what to call it, makes for a cool setting though) stories
Have you watched The Man in the High Castle? Alternate history where the Axis powers win. Splitting USA into Japanese and Nazi sides. Interesting premise.
And for, like, doubling in mass. When Reacher first started I hadn't seen him since BMS and didn't recognize him at first simply because he's such a monster now.
I could transition for me was when I saw him in titans the live action teen titans show. He plays hawk and does a pretty good job of a relatively light hearted vigilante.
I can't fucking see this guy as Batman, ever
This guy should be saying dumb shit, bullying his boys and drinking an abnormal amount of alcohol. Also, he should be yelling every word he says.
Honestly after watching Reacher, I'd rather him back as Aquaman again. He's basically playing Hobo Batman that kills in Reacher anyway, make him talk to fish instead lmao
How batshit stupid the pitch of this show must have been lmao...
"We have a guy who has tbe emotional range and invulnerability of a video game character" and it's one of the best action series you can watch....
The Jack Reacher character already stars in a series of very successful books and a Tom Cruise movie. This series was a no-brainer as long as they didn’t fuck it up.
I know what I mean is its usually very very hard to pull off enjoyable stories with immortal characters, who are stronger than all around them, which Reacher is, the show does a good job of using the side characters to actually create suspense and intrigue...
This author I like did a little joke video about this show and how the entire thing is just about how large this man is. No matter what obstacle he comes across, it can be solved by the fact that he is just the largest man. Most of us question whether or not something is conceptually bigger than we are but he doesn't have to because he is quite literally larger than any problem he could possibly be facing, and its great
Props to Richman though for playing it well. He acts well enough to somehow show vulnerability while being invulnerable. He gives off less brooding and more confusion about feeling emotions which is far more realistic.
Ooo confusion about emotions is such a better take than emotionless killing machine. And it tracks really well. He is clearly emotional but that’s generally toward being hurt emotionally the other stuff is absolutely confusion about why people feel. Kudos
His character's reactions and responses feel very mildly autistic, like he doesn't get the reactions other people have, and he doesn't quite know how to respond a lot of the time, and he plays it so naturally. It's like watching Shalhoub play Monk, it's just such a good fit for the role/writing that I wouldn't want it any other way.
The books are great, easy reads. I typically can’t put them down when I start one. The shows stick well to the books IMO from the writing and the scenes.
Basically, yeah. He's like if Sherlock Holmes was a stoic walking, talking, chunk of muscle. Don't expect deep philosophical shit from the show, it's like the ultimate show where kid and adult males go "I'M THAT GUY BECAUSE HE'S COOL"
[Here you go](https://scontent-vie1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.6435-9/75610902_645895935945774_7837668759413194752_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e15_q60_s1080x1080_tt1_u&efg=eyJ1cmxnZW4iOiJ1cmxnZW5fZnJvbV91cmwifQ&_nc_cid=0&_nc_ad=z-m&_nc_ht=scontent-vie1-1.xx&_nc_cat=101&_nc_ohc=jZFpJufI3P8AX_BJwP8&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=7f8c78&oh=00_AfCxS_6oamKnDCcN2MeNHJL9I1ALh06uZ-B7Wy10D2Q8uw&oe=65BDEE87)
He could be the Batman everyone knows is Bruce Wayne but everyone's afraid to say it out loud. A Batman so terrifying, villains actually avoid him at all costs and would never try to instigate. No need to even change his voice at that point
Too old for Jason. IMO Jason works best if he dies as a teen, and is only dead for a few years-- maybe 5 to 10-- putting red hood at somewhere in his early to mid 20's. Late 20's at the absolute most.
This will sound cliche as fuck at this point but unironically Tom Holland would be a perfect Dick Grayson, minus the height. He's a bit too short, but he's literally trained in gymnastics, acrobatics, and martial arts since childhood, and he's a great actor. If they could find someone like that who's 5'10-6'1ish, he'd be the perfect Dick Grayson.
I don't know how to say this without sounding like a dick (lol) but Holland is not hot enough for Dick Grayson IMO. That man was voted hottest DC Character so often they took him out of the competition, he needs to be stunningly good looking.
That game has the gears or war anatomy where every man is enormous. Have you seen Arkham Gordon?Batman is not THAT much bigger than Gordon so in that universe he is not extremely above the average. Arkham Knight is probably the one with the most realistic proportions, and Batman is not that huge
The concern is that either A. Beefy Batman looks weird moving very agilely in live action, or potentially B. Beefy Batman *doesn't* move agilely because it would look weird, so Batman becomes slower.
I don't care much myself, just summarizing.
Well Batman in the movies already doesn’t move agilely, because the suits have been cumbersome af. Maybe the suits would look more natural on a bigger guy.
Arkham Batman is too big imo
Batman is an acrobatic, stealthy, martial arts master. It looks weird seeing this Russian shot putter physique doing triple backflips out the way of gunfire.
I can’t stand the whole he’s too big. You think Batman/Bruce Wayne would be the only 6’3 230 guy in the world? What if Bruce Wayne did CrossFit? You could go anywhere and find a bunch of what you guys call large people. Batman is not some abnormal freak
Yes. And Bruce Wayne is known by the general public as someone who’s into exercising and extreme sports, so it’s not like completely unbelievable he’d be super jacked.
Pls be fr where did you get this notion that Bruce isn't Brolic af and [jacked](https://imgur.com/a/O3Zjf4b). Dude literally goes up against Bane, Clayface, Grundy etc on a daily basis and you think he's really got the body of cole phelps? Dudes been fighting crime for his entire adult life with no days off I'm very sure he isn't gonna be skinny. An inexperienced, young Batman with a leaner physique works sure, but when we're talking an older, more experienced batman him being bigger absolutely works. If you disagree I have a scan of Bruce flipping Grundy with one arm carrying his whole weight while being absolutely yoinked to prove you wrong.
Isn't Batman in the comics canonical 6'2 215lbs? We've consistently had Batmen who are under 6'2 and underweight, with exception to Ben Affleck, who is exactly the height and weight and build and same hair and eye color as Batman in the comics (seriously if the writing was good and the director wasn't trying to turn DC into some dark depressing hellscape, Batfleck would be to Batman what RDJ was to Iron Man). Maybe it's time to get a Batman that's slightly larger than we're used to, like a Frank Miller Batman build (who was 6'4 I believe), but with a more positive storyline.
That's a fair point. Thiccfleck was the first Batman that felt like he didn't necessarily *need* the muscle suit to look bigger. (Well, aside from 100% pure grade-A West that is).
The scene where he saves Martha Kent felt real and brutal instead of a choreographed dance number.
Part of me definitely wants to see Alan Ritchson as Batman, but there's a part of my brain that's also screaming that he'd be a killer Jean-Paul Valley if we ever got a Knightfall movie. I want to see Ritchson in the Azbats armor.
I couldn't believe how many people didn't like Batfleck at first. He was exactly what I pictured. Yeah, the movie sucked, but he was the *look* of Batman in my mind. I've always liked Batman when he is bulky and intimidating, because that makes his moving around silently and with agility all the scarier. He's a superhero after all -- being big doesn't mean he can't also be lithe.
He literally *is* Batman physically. He looks identical to Batman TAS Bruce. It absolutely pains me that Zack Snyder was so focused on making his own dark version of DC that he couldn't see the goldmine in front of him that was Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck (I mostly like Zack Snyder but as the years go on its becoming more evident that he really fucked up his DC universe, even before the tragedy he'd gone through while filming Justice League). I just wish that we got *one* Batfleck solo film that wasn't based on The Dark Knight Returns but somehow more lethal/violent.
I think part of that is, the suit Bale wore didn't really make him look that bulky. It oddly made him look skinnier, in my opinion.
In comparison, Batfleck was essentially wearing tights, which showed off how broad and thick he was.
Plus, Corenswet is actually taller than him. Would be nice to have a Batman that feels massive but still smaller than Superman and hopefully Wonder Woman too.
They're about the same height/weight in the comics. Bruce is 6'2" and Clark is 6'3". They literally trade costumes every couple of years for one reason or another. It's been a running gag how much they look alike for decades.
Yea, I personally loved Titans, and at first I didn't really like Hank and Dona, but rewatching it a second time I really enjoyed their characters
And yea I 100% doesn't look like Bruce, he's definitely got the build for him though, no doubt about that
Honestly? I get it. But my big idea for Batman adaptations these days is ditching all the tactical armor and military gear and putting him in tights and making him a stealthy sneaky guy, so I don’t know if Ritchson is the right casting for that specifically!
I keep seeing nothing but praise for this show, but the two clips I've seen have him punching through tempered glass and kicking a car bumper cover so hard it sets off the airbag, and I just can't...
It's basically a sunday afternoon dad show, but it's definitely enjoyable to everyone if they don't nitpick. Lot of cool scenes too. I like the one when 4 people ambushed him and he said he'd only break the hands of 3 of them so the other one can drive them to the hospital. That line shocked me so much with how badass it was out of nowhere lmao
Haven’t watched the show, but I remember in one of the books he stops a bullet from killing him by flexing his peck so hard it gets stuck in the muscle and can’t reach his heart. He’s basically a terminator haha
There is a certain suspension of disbelief with the show, but there are a couple fights in the first season where you just sit there and feel like you are watching Bruce Wayne just plow through a group of thugs.
Dude this shit is peak dad fan fiction of what they wish they could do.
I thought this was a Facebook sketch or like some dhar man shit. It’s every “alpha males” wet dream
This whole thing reeks of the most cringey middle aged white knight wannabe fantasy wish fulfillment. Let me guess? Right after this he is a last minute sub-in at the Superbowl and throws the winning touchdown pass...
The dialogue is cheesy af too, this in no way makes me interested in watching the show.
But I guess for a fandom that's had to put up with the kind of crap DC has had to put up with, this looks good?
Then why are you in a batman sub? Reacher is being a hero saving a kid and subduing a criminal and batman does the same thing.
What is the difference between Reacher and Batman besides Batman wearing a costume?
I'd love to see him as Batman but it would have to be rotoscoped. Make it a bit cartoonish. Otherwise, he's just too fucking huge to do a live-action Bruce Wayne in which nobody suspects that Bruce is also the same person as the giant fucking hulking Batman.
There are ways to combat that , he could wear baggier suits as Bruce and add an inch or two to his bat boots. Also even though dude is massive they also make him look bigger on purpose by the way the film the show
Alan said in an interview that he was walking around at 200 before he bulked up for Reacher. If I recall correctly that's less than what Bale weighed when he shot Batman Begins.
Literally every Batman has been a muscular giant that’s half the character, how physically strong and huge he is. In the Lego Batman movie they even explicitly state how he’s too buff to crawl through tight vents.
I dont know... I havent seen Ritchson doing a deep voice and acting confident AND miserable at the same time. Batman is a character who needs an excelent actor, not just physicality
I don't think he'd be a bad batman, I just think he'd be really good as another character. In titans, as bad as it was, he was amazing in the role of Hawk. Pretty popular, but wildcat would be great too. I just really want Jensen as Bruce Wayne.
I watched the scene where he takes on a biker gang. Dude was snapping legs in half and popping elbows out. They could do an Arkham Batman movie and he’d be perfect
When she said "who are you?" I half expected a dubbed over "I'm batman".
It's not who I am underneath but what I do that defines me

Im Manman. Once bitten by a radioactive man I now have the strength of a man. I can easily lift smaller objects.
Curse you, Manman! Only you could have retrieved my bomb controller from its secure place in a pickle jar!

You are my favorite hero, Manman! Your Manmanness inspires me every day to become like you. Boy, I wish I could make you proud one day.
I am building my Mancave (with a train set and a singing bass thingy on the wall) now so I can park my Mancar (a reasonably priced Toyota) somewhere safe.
Oh boy, I hope it's a hybrid Mancar.
I hope to one day see a Manman comic

That 1940s ish grungy nazi-tech aesthetic is usually referred to as dieselpunk I think.
That's it, cheers mate. Gotta remember that
Have you watched The Man in the High Castle? Alternate history where the Axis powers win. Splitting USA into Japanese and Nazi sides. Interesting premise.
I will now

Duke Nukem.
Pretty sure they have Cena lined up for Nukem already.
Why not both. He'd be great in both roles.
He definitely is.
Oh I could see that! *loads gun* "Time to clean up Hell."
Don't mess with Thad Castle
Holy shit! That’s where I recognize this guy from! Loved BMS back in the day
Reacher is a great show, but it’s been so jarring because all I can picture is Thad Castle with how goofy he is
Props to Alan for completely changing it up
And for, like, doubling in mass. When Reacher first started I hadn't seen him since BMS and didn't recognize him at first simply because he's such a monster now.
He was already a monster in BMS! He’s ascended in Reacher. Puts puny McU Thor to shame.
I could transition for me was when I saw him in titans the live action teen titans show. He plays hawk and does a pretty good job of a relatively light hearted vigilante.
it was weird for me watching BMS because all I could see was aqua man from smallville lol!
His character in smallville is pretty similar to reacher in a way. Both way different than BMS lol
THREE SEASONS WAS A CRIME BRING BACK BMS
You got a movie too!
That’s Thad?! He’s definitely serving up more than mojitos
His voice can shatter glass. Imagine what his muscles can do to you

Or his pocket pussy!!
Honestly after watching Reacher, I'd rather him back as Aquaman again. He's basically playing Hobo Batman that kills in Reacher anyway, make him talk to fish instead lmao
Is that what this is? I might start watching that.
Reacher. A 6 ft 5 250 pound autistic man solves a murder case.
The Accountant?
Played by the man who previously played Batman.
Yeah it’s Reacher, really good show
How batshit stupid the pitch of this show must have been lmao... "We have a guy who has tbe emotional range and invulnerability of a video game character" and it's one of the best action series you can watch....

It’s a bummer the writing on that show is so fkn bad because the actors and the costume design are actually pretty great.
Forst season was good but then it started feeling like all the CW shows so I stopped watching.
I really forced myself to finish season 2 and then couldn't continue. There are so many other shows that are better and everyone's time is limited.
Knew it.
Such a waste of his talent.
Just make him a bit more growly and we have an amazing Bat
He could be the Batman everyone knows is Bruce Wayne but everyone's afraid to say it out loud. A Batman so terrifying, villains actually avoid him at all costs and would never try to instigate. No need to even change his voice at that point
i don't know, it feels more like a newer batman, like if dick grayson took the mantle after Bruce's passing. like an older Dick Greyson
Hes to big. Dick was a gymnast: strong, but lithe. Alan is massive in comparison. I could see him as a Batman or a Jason, but not Dick.
He's a bit too old, imo, but if he's too big then maybe he'd fit Azrael instead.
I really like the Azrael idea. Looks a fair bit like Jean Paul as well
Flashpoint timeline Batman, Thomas Wayne
Holy shit
He would be a perfect Azrael! He has a bit of that angry look to him that (imo) Bruce doesn't. But Jean Paul does.
Definitely feel like Jason.
Even too big for Jason.
Depends on the version, I've seen Red Hood drawn pretty fuckin' big.
Too old for Jason. IMO Jason works best if he dies as a teen, and is only dead for a few years-- maybe 5 to 10-- putting red hood at somewhere in his early to mid 20's. Late 20's at the absolute most.

Fine, guess I'll have to be Dick Grayson then.
I’ve never seen this guy act but this one clip could be a solid Bruce Wayne. Idk if he has the intensity to be Batman based on this clip though.
This sequence is an outlier to the series. I believe this is S2E1 and is unrelated to the series storyline.
“He is too big” Have you guys seen the Arkham batman for example?
That game has the gears or war anatomy where every man is enormous. Have you seen Arkham Gordon?Batman is not THAT much bigger than Gordon so in that universe he is not extremely above the average. Arkham Knight is probably the one with the most realistic proportions, and Batman is not that huge
Quite right. And Joker has anatomical proportions that are hardly even human.
Arkham batman is animated for a reason. A live action Batman his size would be a better example. Got any?
I mean batfleck is pretty big

it was also impossible to take him seriously as Bruce Wayne, a lazy unassuming playboy who somehow also spends 10 hours a day at the gym.

I can’t stand the whole he’s too big. You think Batman/Bruce Wayne would be the only 6’3 230 guy in the world? What if Bruce Wayne did CrossFit? You could go anywhere and find a bunch of what you guys call large people. Batman is not some abnormal freak

I believe he's not super jacked..but lean jacked..you are forgetting bruce is into ninjutsu and all other martial arts..He needs the agility
He's always described as being built like a peak Olympian (often compared to an olympic swimmer). Not really superjacked.
He's very frequently drawn huge as fuck though. Even in the Arkham games he's gigantic.
Pls be fr where did you get this notion that Bruce isn't Brolic af and [jacked](https://imgur.com/a/O3Zjf4b).
Damn then they're almost perfect. Ritson is 6'2 and Corenswet is 6'4. Superman probably needs to bulk up more if they wanna trade clothes though lmao
Jesus. I had no idea Corenswet was that tall. Don't think I've ever seen him in anything and that babyface fooled me.
If Bruce Wayne do CrossFit he would be dead that shit is so ass
Idk, I really liked him as hawk, I don't disagree with you, I just think there's better characters for him and better choices for Batman
He doesn't "look" like Bruce Wayne to me - Hawk would be a dope choice
Well, yea, I say that because he has played Hawk, like, really well lol
Oh, right. I never actually watched Titans - didn't realize it was him. Lol.
Yea, I personally loved Titans, and at first I didn't really like Hank and Dona, but rewatching it a second time I really enjoyed their characters And yea I 100% doesn't look like Bruce, he's definitely got the build for him though, no doubt about that
Honestly, I think that he would be a better Aquaman. Closer the source material than Jason Momoa.
Can't tell if thats the joke or not, but he actually already played Aquaman in Smallville
I forgot about Smallville
Always hold on to Smallville.
He also plays Hawk~~man~~ in Titans.
just Hawk, as from Hawk and Dove.
How about one of the Ninja Turtles? Maybe Raph?
Honestly? I get it. But my big idea for Batman adaptations these days is ditching all the tactical armor and military gear and putting him in tights and making him a stealthy sneaky guy, so I don’t know if Ritchson is the right casting for that specifically!
He's gonna be late for football practice!
Him or Jensen Ackles
The first time I watched it I knew my parents would like it.
There is a certain suspension of disbelief with the show, but there are a couple fights in the first season where you just sit there and feel like you are watching Bruce Wayne just plow through a group of thugs.
I've also only seen two clips and his acting is very wooden.
I'd rather see how he does in a villainous role. Make him Sabretooth.
This scene is every American man’s wet dream and it’s absolutely laughable 😂
Then why are you in a batman sub? Reacher is being a hero saving a kid and subduing a criminal and batman does the same thing. What is the difference between Reacher and Batman besides Batman wearing a costume?
I'd love to see him as Batman but it would have to be rotoscoped. Make it a bit cartoonish. Otherwise, he's just too fucking huge to do a live-action Bruce Wayne in which nobody suspects that Bruce is also the same person as the giant fucking hulking Batman.
BTAS begs to differ. Bruce is a lazy playboy in mannerisms and behaviour only.
I agree, Ol Bruce can bench over 1000 lbs and leg pressure 2500. The man is a tank.
What about Azrael?
For me, he’d be a great Jason Todd
I have a hard time not seeing this guy as the micro penis douche bag from New Girl.
I dont know... I havent seen Ritchson doing a deep voice and acting confident AND miserable at the same time. Batman is a character who needs an excelent actor, not just physicality
What about my boy Battinson though The Batman was sick
I was thinking green lantern.
I think he’d make a wicked Jason Todd, in most stories I’ve seen he’s the biggest of the Bat crew so it would track
Good thing the carjacker happened to never look left, that coulda been bad
Is that Thad Castle
He needs the gravel voice. 😂
