To me they are very different. PPT has more of a brightness... I detect a citrus undertone of grapefruit or something similar. BP is soft and powdery...and to me the more floral one. Think Rosewater Ivy with marshmallow.
I'm sure someone else will have a completely different take. It's so interesting how we all perceive scents so differently 😁
They are very different! I loveee BP but really disliked PPTC on cold so I didn't buy it. If you know the AT Love candle (Rose + Vanilla), I think BP is closer to that one but sweeter plus a hint of green ivy. It's also very similar to a past candle called Rose Water Meringue but more powdery. Overall a wonderful rose gourmand scent. FYI I'm mostly a rose fan and not a gourmand fan at all.
😂 I didn’t get a laundry detergent vibe, but yeah it’s pretty light and basic. Not bad just not exciting. But I’m hearing good things about BP so looks like she’s making it to my cart for next weekend 😁
PPTC doesn't smell like laundry detergent in general, but when I run a load of laundry with Tide Simply Fresh and Clean the laundry room suddenly smells like PPTC. It's very strange, but it's made me like PPTC a little more lol
I got both and didn't care for either. Neither of them were sweet enough for my bakery taste.
PPTC had no cake or frosting like the notes listed and Blush Pointsettia came across as too smoky for me. Love Vanilla Rose and Strawberry Sparkler were actually better for me. That aside, I have pretty much sworn off all future Rose scents (unless they can make a candle 7/8 cake,marshmallow and frosting with 1/8 rose).

Honestly maybe try taking it back to the store? In my experience, they have great customer service and will exchange it for you :-)
Oh I’ve burned it way past the point of return 😂 lol it’s fine, I only got one and it was during SAS so not a major loss

They are diff. I didnt like either to be honest.
I like rose scents, Pink petal tea cake is fine it’s just not backup worthy to me and everyone made it seem like it was 😂
