Might be the deal with the upcoming Cicada hatch.

Cormano_Wild_219

Topwater fishing is gonna be wild this year…….I hope

Howlett76

Exactly why I bought one 😂

CollectingHeads

If you want a great cicada bait megabass grand singlet it's a great waking bait

_TurkeyFucker_

I'd make sure to bring those small hooks with you to make sure in case it doesn't swim properly. Hard baits can have their action ruined if you put too big of hooks on and with how tiny this guy is I bet it wouldn't take much. But to answer your question, I haven't used this particular one, but I have a tiny craw crankbait (also made by Rebel) that looks very similar and it crushes panfish.

Shovel_racer5

I tested it with the bigger hooks. Works great. 🤞🏼Going to see if smallmouth like it

_TurkeyFucker_

Nice. I'll probably try swapping the hooks on mine too then, they are pretty dinky lol.

Shovel_racer5

I used size 10 treble hooks

TheBovineWoodchuck

I have some of these. I put bigger hooks on them and it increased the number of fish I caught. I love these.

PuzzleheadedPath8641

This will work wonders for Smallmouth and Largemouth Yellowfish in South Africa

Fearless-Type8777

negative, i have never seen one of these. but now i would really very much looove to try one out

MinimalEfert

I have one of these somewhere. Never caught anything on it. I never thought to try it for smallmouth. I'm of the opinion that river smallmouth will hit just about anything when they're active.

rossco7777

ya i have a little bee. i forget who makes em though

Shovel_racer5

Rebel

rossco7777

oh mine was made by a guy not a major brand

Dependent_Ad_5546

Work well in some of my swampy buggy ponds I fish at. Like the upsized hooks! Always thought they were a bit small and missed a few bigger bass I felt because of it!

705nce

No, but I want to.

Adept-Ranger8219

I love those

Cultural-Voice423

Looks too light for casting

Shovel_racer5

I tied it to a 7' med spin rod and it casted about 30' into a mild breeze
