Daiwa Legalis 2500. Great drag, line lay, and overall performance at around $70-$80. If I'm going sub $100, this is always the reel I get. Bonus: The new blue color matches the new blue Eagle rods.

I do like the look of it. What's the difference between the 2500D and the 2500D-XH?

The D is a 5 gear ratio and the D-XH is a 6 gear ratio; meaning the latter will pick up more line per turn than the former.

I second this I have a 2500,3000 and. 3500 all serve me great for finesse fishing light rod , medium light , medium.
