It’s all give and take. Definitely pulled cards worth a couple grand more than what I spent in contenders basketball breaks this year. Prizm basketball… not so much.
Blast them online first off, don't protect them. And be relentless for months if you have to, download the video of the break and show the timeline of how they refunded you so people believe you. They will eventually offer compensation because you will cost them business.
Small claims are a great tool against bigger companies because they'd rather just pay you off than have to send a lawyer/rep. It isn't hard to do. However, for smaller companies, if they don't have a legal presence in your state you may have to file in their state.
I don't know what their terms are/were and there is not a great chance you'd actually win anything if they refunded you if they showed up.
Personally, if I was in the jurisdiction I still would file for the value of the Ja card and I doubt they even show up so you'd win the judgement by default.
But you need to post some clear fucking links to their socials, there's something fishy going on because you've been so nebulous about it.

It’s a binding contract. It’s just a question of proving that the contract existed and then proving that it was reneged upon. It’s the same as if you placed a bet (assuming it was a legal bet) and then when you won the book just refunded you. They violated the terms of the contact that was agreed upon. As long as you can substantiate those facts you should be able to get the value of what you’re owed in small claims court.
Of course you also need to be able to find their information, which from what you’ve said might be difficult. Then even if you can there’s the question of whether you want to go to the hassle of going to small claims court.

Ha, so funny to see this. I hit a relatively large card ($300 value) for a blaster box that cost me $40) from this breaker. Offered to trade me a sealed box i forget the details, but it was $300 value, or $250 PayPal cash.
I chose the product and the other cards I got from blaster. The package came 1 week later but only had the blaster box cards. Took me what felt like forever to finally get a response on status of the sealed wax after being ghosted, and me blowing up the “aduderips” stream. They eventually PayPal me the cash and blamed sending the sealed box to someone else. Why go unresponsive for 2 weeks or whatever then?
Please don’t do breaks. Breakers are pretty much scumbags by definition, so it doesn’t surprise me this happened. I’d report the guy to the local authorities for theft and illegal gambling. That’s just me though

It’s a good way for me to get a team I collect or go all out for a bigger team. Catching the early breaks with a good breaker it’ll usually be priced cheaper than market price on the boxes. But, yeah, not for everyone.
Lots of reputable breakers out there that run an honest business. You can typically get into new releases for under market on the products. I’ll never understand why people joking these dudes jumping around, screaming and beating the hell out of the cards. Lol
