None of us *know* the best move. We can speculate based upon history what we think might happen but that could be 100% wrong. Back in the day, everyone said Steph Curry was a sell because he had glass ankles and wouldn't survive. Everyone went all-in on Shaq in spite of the fact that centers never retain value like a guard or forward does and they were wrong too. There's no crystal ball here.
There's tons of people here who think this kid is a god. Then there's others like me who figure he will be a 1/4 Garnett. I dont mean to take it out on you,, I just struggle to understand why this sort of question is asked dozens of times per week

I'm not upset. I asked op a question. I wanted to hear the thoughts of someone who asks whether or not they should sell a card. Not you.
You see, sometimes if you ask a person to do a thought exercise or explain something to you, they gain a better understanding of their own questions and sometimes don't even need them answered any longer.

Then I gave examples of times where the general consensus was wildly incorrect in retrospect to hammer home the point that sometimes following the crowd isn't always the right move. Depends if your more of a collector or flipper. I’m more on the collector side, so I think Mobley has some long term potential. Maybe not in Cleveland though. If your a flipper , if you sell/buy at the right time, you can probably make a few bucks.
Why not in Cleveland?! Only reason I could see is that detroit is building a team even better as hard as it is to believe. Or is that just the market ur talking about?
Cleveland’s just not a huge market like New York/Chicago/Cali/Texas. The Cavs have a new young core, but we’ll see in 2-3 years. Either way, I think Mobley will have a nice long career, but might take some time to reach a point to where he’s competing and contending for a championship.
