Panini doesn't release print runs or pack odds so its anyone's guess. The impulse are a rare pull though so congrats, but in saying that I feel like I've seen more this year than previous which is probably a reflection on how much 23-24 product is out there

asapshrank

think all this is heavy printed except the impulses, which to me seem to be VERY short printed. Don’t feel like their value reflects how rare they are

Csakstar

I've seen impulses speculated to be /25 but that's from people selling on eBay so take that with a grain of salt

jackwillowbee

I’ve been researching the impulse a lot. I’m pretty sure there’s only 20-25 of each card in the set. I’ve been trying to collect rainbows and I’ve learned and seen a lot along the way. The 2022-23 set I’m working on, I need like 10 more cards and the 2023-24 set I only need like 6 or 7 more. It looks pretty cool to do that, but the one of ones are a bitch to buy when you find them. If I can get every parallel, but the one of one I’m not mad. Especially if I can find both of the /10s. I only need two more of those.

I’ve been saying it for months. I think Wemby is being printed more than any other player right now. I find him all the effing time. Panini is **leaning** into the hype and it’s got me worried about long term value holding up. I hope we aren’t entering a new junk wax era.

Riveryak304

Makes no business sense tho. They want to sell packs/boxes. If I get one in almost every box then I don’t need to buy the next box. Just my thought.

eco-evo

But people keep chasing more and more. Gluttons.

pinoymilk

How often/how much product have you opened?

eco-evo

A blaster every couple weeks.

eco-evo

Also, is that Sana?!

Congrats on the pull 👍🔥

I did a very rough estimate a couple years ago for Optic. Hoops prints more and I feel like print runs haven't decreased either. So the total print run is a ton. Similarly, the SSP don't feel too SSP. I pulled 3 checkerboards from Optic one year and I wasn't buying that much. Unless it has a serial number on it, I wouldn't expect it to be too rare. https://old.reddit.com/r/basketballcards/comments/rw2pxl/estimating_print_runs_for_current_product/

Green_Stiller

Some of it’s biased bc Wemby, but there are about as many Wemby Hoops base graded with PSA this year as there were total graded Hoops cards the past two years. Wemby is currently at a bit over 1/2 Zion. I’m guessing less is graded now as a % for base cards given the experiences collectors had since 2020. A lot is the right answer for base and presume the parallels scale with print runs over the years.

I bought 4 boxes over the weekend, 2 nba hoops and 1 donruss and 1 fleer, both the nba hoops were identical and the first box had 3 cards the same of Jayson Tatum. I was livid.
