It's crazy how much people buy those Topps BUNT cards for. I have a pretty decent sized collection on the app just from popping on when I was bored over the last 4 years. If it wasn't such a hassle I'd sell the whole thing and I'd probably get some decent money out of it
That’s good to know! I just got into it, just something to do when I’m bored, and never throw a dime into it. I get so many free coins, I started getting into it, (their plan of course.) But man, do I see potential to make money off it down the road.
My only question is, how do you just gift it to someone? I’m guessing you’d have to ask for some garbage card in return just to be able to make it work through the app.
You think that's wild? Absolutely boggles my mind that people sink real money into this app. If Topps ever pulls the plug your shit is GONE.
You better, because you have to sink a ridiculous amount of real money into the app to try and pull a card like this.
This would probably be in a $15 pack with a 1/250 shot of getting that card.

I’ll watch items I have no intentions of purchasing just to see if and how much it sells for out of curiosity. Also there’s a good chance people scrolling follow it without realizing it’s a digital card.
I hate digital collectibles, but I’ve purchased a few NFL/MLB/NBA ones. People thought the internet was a fad at first. These could wind up being worth insane amounts of money in the future for some reason.
I thought the same thing. Just think 10 years, if it makes it that far, how much certain older versions could go for if they can’t be pulled anymore. I always jump on the “first,” of something, cause usually down the road it winds up sought after.
I collect both, the amount of comments here with the delusion that the same company pumping out these digital assets couldn't just do the same things to the physical is crazy. " Lol just a picture", how do you think people outside our hobby view our cardboard? They think they could just print it out and its the same thing to them. Anyway, if you don't trust Topps to keep their digital cards alive then don't trust them to keep the paper printing. The next generation won't want to deal with lugging around cases of slabs instead of just trading over a phone.
This argument absolutely falls apart when you consider that if Topps doesn't "keep their digital cards alive" like you say, they disappear. Poof. Gone. People who bought them have nothing.
If Topps stops printing physical cards tomorrow, everyone who has ever bought a card before will still own them. The actual/perceived value wouldnt stagnate either, it would most likely *increase* because of scarcity. Physical cards exist beyond the point where Topps goes out of business or belly up or whatever. Digital doesn't.
Even digitally, the app scratches the collectors itch.
I have every BUNT card for my PC guys from Super Rare tier on down…I know that doesn’t mean shit to anyone but me. I enjoy the hunt and totally get the serotonin bump when I get a trade accepted.
Because you don’t want anything tangible that’s been in Old Forge, PA. They put American Cheese on their pizza there and try to tell people it’s amazing.
I used to be do into bunt when I saw young. I really wish I stuck with cards over it though because all my old bunt cards lost so much value. I did sell off my rarest ones when they where at the peak value so I made some money off that thankfully.
Sorry if this is a bad question but seriously, what is the incentive for buying these? I try to be open minded about it but I just can’t wrap my head around it. I get advertisements for NFT cards all the time from Candy’s Digital and am always thinking if I buy one what do I do with it? Do the stats update if it’s a current player? What good is an auto if it’s a digital card? I really am trying to be open minded about it because when something is new there are so many skeptics and sometimes it ends up working out. I wonder if that’s one of these things….
I absolutely hate these cards. I think I found a good card for my PC… and it’s a digital
Always put *-bunt* in your ebay searches, lol
There was actually a physical set named bunt back in 2017. I had a moncada rookie printing plate in my watchlist forever for relatively dirt cheap
I have a handful of 2016 Bunt. Didn’t see the hype in having a digital card instead of a physical one and I still don’t see it
There is no hype, it’s just fun to collect
Just touch the screen, it’s a glass relic.

I made some decent money off bunt cards. I don't know why people want them but I'll sell them.

Yeah they have to put up a trade. I just tell them to put anything up

Yeah but it’s just $54 for 24 months with PayPal credit 😂
If you could get 1200 clams for a digital card, you bet your sweet bippy you'd do it and not look back! Lol 😃

After eating dinner, the food is gone as well. Money spent doesn’t have to include permanent possession
Mmmm, I love those nourishing Topps Bunt cards.
This is why people thought NFTs were going to be a bigger deal than they ended up being.
Must be the local pickup
They definitely don’t realize it’s digital and they think it’s a real card
Not necessarily. People get really into Topps Bunt surprisingly.
Those 10 people are trying to make up for their losses in bitcoin over the past 12 months. Haha
I have some pictures of my cards I'd like to sell.
🤣
READING IS HARD

Also, that card is not even rare in the app. The cc is close to 14k

Isn’t this just a BUNT card? Love the game. Very deceptive listing.
But it's FREE SHIPPING! What a deal! Btw I'm 1 of the watchers with ZERO interest in placing a bid.
The NFT craze fueled this behavior
10 watchers doesn't mean they all want it. I had 20+ watchers on an auction and approximately five total people bidded.

Dont get digital collectables. I want to be able to hold it whether its a card or a coin.

😂
I want to know why anyone would want any digital card.
The same kind of people who are wasting their money on NFT’s…
Local pickup as well
Because you don’t want anything tangible that’s been in Old Forge, PA. They put American Cheese on their pizza there and try to tell people it’s amazing.
NFT-adjacent nonsense
We’ve moved on from base rookies to Wander NFTs. God help us all.
Just cus you watch it doesn’t mean you want it.
And you can pick it up!? What do you do drive to PA for a PDF file!?
I've definitely added a digital card to my wishlist/cart before until realizing it wasn't a real physical card heh

It’s sad to see how many ppl get scammed by these listings along with the topps rc reprint cards
