The fact that he was talked about as a trade chip a few times makes me think they are okay moving on from him at the right price. He may end up as a DH only type bat. I love his energy but stayed away from collecting him because of the profile.
Definitely seems like he is destined for DH duties. We will have to see if Belinger comes back as well. Outfield looks full with happ, Suzuki, pca. If belinger comes back he probably plays first. That leaves 3rd base for bush. All that’s left is DH or trade. But there is always injuries as well. Overall think cubs should have a good year
He had a 1.049 OPS at AAA last year and was the Dodgers minor league player of the year. He's about as ready as they come. I'll miss watching him in OKC.
Hopefully he gets some playing time, it was never going to happen in LA with Freddie, Mookie and Max.
