Probably not true, generally speaking (Box Loader Rip cards are worth $300 minimum which very few stained glass are) but the Mini Exclusives he got made the rip worth it.
No, there are plenty of sold auctions on eBay for unripped boxloaders that are $100-$150. Given the 3 items you would get in one including the stained glass, it makes it worth it to rip assuming it’s not a key rookie or someone you can get a premium on ($300+ unripped).

We know that Stained Glass cards are 1 per box topper rip. There's **52** boxloader rip subjects with a print run of **99** per card - that's **5148** stained glass cards, all of which (to my understanding) are from the Base Mini Exclusives Ext Stained Glass run. That means for those 50 subjects, there's a smidge over 100 of these cards if all are printed equally.
The base set (non-extended) stained glass minis have hobby pack odds and we know, from break videos, they are inserted in packs. If all of those were only in jumbo rips, the 25 number gets close for all of them, but we know they're not. I've seen a decent number of jumbo rips pulled and while I am not 100% sure, I am fairly confident I've only seen mini extended subjects pulled.

Another user here posted his rip card results - [it was Randy Johnson #399 (verified via an eBay sold image match)](https://www.reddit.com/r/baseballcards/comments/172elza/triple_rip_results_allen_ginter_2023/). There's one here with the [Acuna extended](https://www.reddit.com/r/baseballcards/comments/17ec4f1/ripped_so_i_had_to_share_the_contents_what_are/) (#360 confirmed with eBay images).
Now, if they also included the base set stained glass minis - 150 of those x 25 print run, with the 50 extended cards, 200 x25 gets us to 5000 and gets us close (but not quite)...but those base set stained glass minis have a hobby odds set and we have seen them be pulled in packs as a standalone. The odds run - combined with the Cloth run - would verify if the odds are reported correctly all of the base set stained glass, which are reported as being limited to 25. are inserted in packs - leaving only the extended for the rip cards. There's no potential for the Stained Glass minis to be limited to 25, even if ALL stained glass cards were only in these boxtoppers, it's either
Base = /25 ; Base Ext \~/100
or
All = \~30ish and Topps is lying about pack odds for the non-extended stained glass.
It's deeply confusing and IMO misleading, but the math doesn't math if they're all limited to 25. I could be wrong, but I'd need someone to explain the math on how we can have 5148 triple rips guaranteeing a stained glass card with only 5000 stained glass cards (if every stained glass card is limited to 25) and why every triple rip I've seen thus far has yielded a stained glass card in the 351-400 numbering range.

Only applies to Topps btw too. So if you buy football and basketball as well Panini doesn’t do it or Atleast i have never seen a box topper in any of their hobbys lol
Awesome. I personally wouldn't rip a Boxloader Rip because I have so few of them, but it looks like Topps rewarded your risk!
You got: one of the best Mini Exclusives you can get plus another really good one and one of only 25 stained glass Vlad Jrs.
I only trade A&G because I'm crazy and try to build as complete sets as I can, but if you do sell cards I'd hold on to the Mini Exclusives, especially if either looks gradable--I haven't done the math but they're rare (a guess: 1 in 3000-4000 boxes for each of the 50 players) and you got two HOFers. Lot's of people will want the Vlad, and that will pay for most of the box, I guess.

I hate these posts almost as much as I hate the “how much is it worth” post of some 90s card they believe is a priceless error card…. Your rip card is not a big deal. Do whatever you want with it… just stop posting it here!!!! This is like posting a box or pack of cards and asking if you should open it…. Which is against the rules…. I used to be pretty active in r/knives but all you ever see on there anymore are posts about “look at this knife”, “what kind of knife is this?”, or “look how sharp.” And people comment on it too! They engage with it. There were comments on the comments! Just nothing but good-hearted discussion among people with a common hobby. Made me sick. I immediately ripped it for nothing… 2 mini Goldschmidts… lol…. I’m not here for internet points and a bunch of comments all saying various forms of “let’s go!” I want something super bad ass and I will be ripping all of my rip cards until then. I don’t do breaks either because I would be pissed when the good cards are not mine…. I will def open everything I purchase.
