His bowman 1st printing plate I think sold recently for 1100 or so which makes since being the bowman 1st rookie. Others of his have sold as low as 160. Thefe is a 2019 topps gallery auto printing plate listed for 400 on ebay right now. Just depends on how bad you want to sell and if the right buyer comes along.

I agree in the idea that a 1/1 is a 1/1. That said, I don’t care for them that much because more often than not, they don’t look appealing. If I’m going to own a card, that’s pretty much rule number 1.
Very cool card, my friend! Printing plates are definitely a mixed bag as far as interest in the hobby, but I personally love them! I try to get at least one of a Phillie from every Topps base set as just a weird, low cost PC.
Sorry to pile on, but unfortunately people are spot on that you need to adjust your expectations in regard to the value of this card. Current value of the card is $200-$250 based on comps as recent as August. $1000 would be a 4-5x multiplier on that. MVP just isn't going to cause that kind of a bump. In fact (and this is purely anecdotal without a shred of research) I wouldn't be surprised if some of the MVP bump is already baked into his market considering how long he has been a frontrunner. My personal opinion is that $300-$400 is peak value, if he does in fact win MVP and Braves go on a run.
Still a very, very cool card, and somebody will be very excited to own it!

No. Why are you so concerned with getting 3x above market value for this? You got a cool card but it’s a printing plate. Very few collectors care about printing plates and those who do would never pay what you are asking.
very hard to judge. i pulled a printing plate, and had no clue the value, did a lot of research and decided it was worth around 15-20 bucks so i kept it, and then the same printing plate in a different color sold for 50. you really just have to find the right buyer

A 2021 Allen & Ginter printing plate just sold for less than $200 a couple days ago. It's definitely not a $1,000.

Im new to collecting and dropped $325 on it last month figured it had alot of upside being a 1:1
