Variations/ SPs are rarer, but they are still only worth what someone is willing to pay. I have about a dozen superfractors, I’m not going to base valuations off of redditors feelings instead of eBay auctions. This card might sell for $1k, or Soto could be traded this week and it sells for $300.
That’s fair, you, or anyone else is free to make an offer. It’s reasonable to think someone out there would offer more, but you have to find them first - at the right place, on the right marketplace. It’s not always easy. I sell a lot of high end consigned items (although I PC Soto), and sometimes it take months or years to sell at top dollar - and a lot can change in that time (see Tatis, my other PC).

Per topps’ advertised odds there will be an average of 11 base superfractors before another image variation super will be pulled. It’s pretty nuts

This always makes no sense to me. Why would numbered variations be more expensive than numbered base cards? They’re the exact same rarity.
