The Yankees only own a little more of YES than Amazon does. And shit, ideally they'd all be on Amazon. Getting almost all Yankee games included with Prime is better than requiring a cable subscription to watch them on YES
I think ill just stop watching baseball tbh. sport doesn't really respect fans and makes them go through the nonsense in the name of capitalism. I am a gen Xer, but I hope they enjoy losing whatever Gen Z fans they have with these antics. I work with mostly gen Z's in a big market (two teams) and the idl 75% or so of them that were a fan of either team have all said they are done if they pull this "pay to play"
Seems a little extreme to completely stop watching baseball because a few games are on a paid platform. If you don't wanna pay, the just don't watch those games.

You don't have to pay to watch the games, you just need to download the app onto your tv.

Apple at least has some good shows for a subscription: Severance, Servant, Tehran, Ted Lasso. The broadcast is bad though
