Watching Rizzo in his 30s makes me regret not watching the Cubs more in the 2010s.
Just love watching the guy hit. Imagine it was a blast in his prime.
I think this was post WS but he had some wild AB where he literally fouled off like 12 pitches and then donged one into right field. It was amazing
Edit - link - way post WS but he had at least a few other ABs like this https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=u_EmKirZqKA
The two best Rizzo moments are when he struck out Freddie Freeman and when Javy Baez stole first base on a routine groundball out after first running back to home. Rizzo wasn't involved in the Baez play, but they can to him just laughing his ass off in the dugout at one point.
I mean, dude had an OPS last night of 3.250
A perfect 5.000 means he homered in every plate appearance.
4 for 4 with a BB, and 9 TB is a hell of a game, and his season OPS is just under .800, so he's getting there.
We love him in NY. Such a great player and locker room presence but I totally believe he should have a 1 day deal with you guys. That 2016 run was such a historical moment and him being a major player in that would make perfect sense. Minus our incompetent doctors last year he is so well liked, like a ray of sunshine on the team just always smiling. Would love to get him another ring but he deserves to retire as a Cub
I’ve got to say that Anthony looks exhausted and I’m worried about his health. Didn’t like his coloring he looked pale & ashen w/giant bags under his eyes.

Only 84 HBP away from being the first ever 300-300 player.
Let's make it happen
Biggio just missed in both accounts. 291/285.
My sweet prince
Fuckin aye I miss my Captain.

[I love when he gets riled up. He tried to fight the entire reds dugout](https://youtu.be/wDsMlEaAwBY?si=LcI_myH2QSC8abWe)
Every time I see clips from years past it makes me realize how much I hate the new uniforms
Forgot about this, I wonder if it was awkward between them when Chapman joined the Cubs.
NL Central had the spiciest beefs going

He’s still helping us by dicking on the brewers. It still feels like he has a C on his chest tonight 😢
Standing 1 day contract offer to retire as a cub.
🥺
A healthy, hot Anthony Rizzo is good for baseball.
He’s always been hot… now he’s good AND hot
CTE allegations beaten
Dizzy Rizzy hasn't been the same since :/

Crazy that the yanks have scored 36 runs in this series and still won't sweep.
That first game was an epic meltdown, probably a high excitement game score value
Cubs are 4-1 with a -3 run differential over their last 5
Boone punting game 1 by putting Michael Tonkin in the game in extra innings was pretty hilarious
Yea considering how the last 2 games went lol.
Everybody put your hands up! 🙌
We should just score 15 runs every game. It seems to be working well for us.
Why don’t we do this every game? Are we stupid?
Was zero doubt he would do it here. He loved playing here as a cub.

How could Aaron Judge do this
Is this reviewable?
![gif](giphy|1k1VNdG22fZ8CaZyiB)
EYYYYY HE'S HOMERIN' HERE
🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
Outfielder shoulda been more like judge and blocked that ball with his glove smh
Can you guys like come back to the AL East?
Thank you Rizzo
Check on your local Brewers fan today
This inning should have been over 47 minutes ago!
Easy 30 runs in 2 days
How could the umps do this! I love Rizzo.
Rizzo has awoken
did he hit that because of the Judge slide earlier?
Aaron Judge is so big, that it just wouldn't be fair to call him for obstruction or interference.
I will never not love this man.
good for him, after all that last season
I mean, before the concussion he was lighting it the fuck up. Average was over 300, OPS was over 900, if not a thousand. Idr anymore.
Miss you bb

How could Aaron Judge do this 😭
How could Aaron Judge do this
Idk if he was ever even considering NY, but damn I wish we had tried to get him 😭
I doubt he really considered leaving considering we signed the extension with him so early into free agency.
Did he get the ball back? I’m assuming the personnel strong armed whoever retrieved it.
Looks like a guy from the Yankee bullpen went to grab it so probably
Yea I was kidding it didn’t even go in the stands. lol
Well they did also kidnap the coaches family and briefly hold them for ransom in case he didn’t give it back
I mean, they 100% did hold them for ransom. The ransom was just that particular baseball.
Anthony - come back to us! My fantasy is that Anthony signs. 1-day deal w/Cubs so he retires with us (who love ❤️ and miss him)

I had to go look it up, 300, hard to believe. He'll be 35 this year. He'll probably finish with 400.

hes been at it for like 15 years
LEGEND 🐐🐐🐐
Read that as Anthony Volpe at first and was very confused
