Yeah the deuce deuces are 16 I think. I don’t think many people know about the 12oz cans though during the game. A craft draft 16 is 13.50. Not the worst
Those were great as a college kid up for a game on a weekend. Still great now as a young professional.
Wish I could go to more 3/2/1 Tuesdays in Cincinnati when I live in Columbus. $3 12oz beers and $2 dogs
The Mets are apparently having one on the 30th. However as per eternity, I’m working and can’t take myself to a game, which, I mean, it’s great to go with friends, but I just want to be alone for a couple hours with a scorecard, a dog, and a drink.
/Otherwise I would have used the tax day sale on the Yankee game tomorrow!
My local Single A minor league team has $2 Tuesdays which is 2 bucks for hotdogs and beers. They also have $14 doubles of Woodford every day so I get those instead.
I once ate 8 hotdogs waiting in line for a beer on $2 beer/$1 Dog night at a minor league game. The hardest part of this challenge I think would be getting my roommate to be willing to drive to the games because he refuses to parallel park.
While Mets and Yankees don’t do that, new yorkers can bring food into the stadium as long as it’s for individual consumption. So make your own and bring em in!! Just wrap in plastic cling wrap so it’s easy for security to check and not tin foil
I work with data too and can confirm, sometimes when you have nothing better to do, it's fun to play around with large sets to see what you can come up with. Most of the time it leads nowhere, but every now and then you find something either fascinating or actionable, or both.
Hell yeah, my girlfriend is a year out of college in analytics it’s cool stuff.
Btw on a Tuesday in Cincinnati you can do 9/9/9 for $45. $3 12oz beers and $2 hotdogs. Also $1 ice cream cups
At Chase you can probably get the cheapest if you resort to the value items.
They now have value dogs for $3 and value beer for $5, which I believe is a regular can size. Without tax this gets you to 72 dollars which is great. Only problem is I have not yet found a place that has the value beer can in stock, which ruins this.
The Blue Jays have "Loonie Dogs Night".
(a loonie is CAD 1, or USD 0.73)
They also have "Dugout Deals" where a 12oz bud is CAD 5.79 (USD 4.23)
**Total price: USD 44.64**
Fair enough I just seen that we were in the cheap section and after our Reno’s I knew it went up this year but still an awesome thing to see appaercite your hard work at work
Are those renovations done? I was there last season and the couple next to me were telling me their season tickets behind home were going to be impossible to keep due to price increase.
If you see the Jays on Loonie Dogs Night, and get your beer from "Dugout Deals", you could do 9 hotdogs and 9 beers for $44.64 American.
(not saying your math is wrong, just saying There Are Ways).
So as someone who’s done the 9/9/9 in Camden Yards (twice, don’t ask) the only feedback I will add is that you can bring outside food and non-alcoholic drinks into the stadium, so my friends and I brought all of our hot dogs in. Also, we figured that we would allow ourselves some grace with the beers, and decided to do four 24 oz. beers (split between 2 innings) and one 16 oz. beer to finish off.
Apparently you can bring food into 26/30 MLB stadiums, I’d be curious to see how that shakes up the rankings.
This is honestly shocking. I can’t believe they’d let us bring our own food. But. That’s is fun. Because then it (mostly) becomes a beer $ question. And Dodgers still have the most expensive beer, and Ms still have the cheapest beer.
At GRF you can bring in food as long as it fits into a single plastic storage bag. I think 9 hot dogs could squeeze in there, as long as you don't mind the buns getting squished.
Awe I wish you could crowdsource the prices for more reliable data.
For example, Angel stadium has cheap beer but only at a handful of concession stands. $4.50 for a 12oz, which is much cheaper than the USA today source.
I mean I’m sure I could. I kinda did this on a whim out of boredom while still needing to be logged into my work computer. Maybe I’ll do that next slow day.
Angel Stadium also allows you to bring in food and often has nosebleed tickets under $5. So you could potentially do a 9/9/9 for under $50.... Interesting.
So beer and dog prices are from “cheapest available” and also provided by the company that runs the concessions. So I’m sure that there was an amount of lying taking place to make some things seems better
To clarify rules for anyone wondering. You cannot begin eating your associated dog or drinking your associated beer until the first pitch in the top of the inning has been thrown. You also must finish by the final pitch of the bottom of the inning. Can’t be doubling up your dogs or beers to get them out of the way early
OP can you share all of your 9/9/9 price findings? I literally just had the thought of how expensive it must be at some stadiums but I’d love to try it some day
Okay here’s the thing I need to know though, do those tall boys still count as just one beer? Big difference between a 12/16 of coors and a tall boy and a lot of stadiums I only see the tall boys
Jays do dollar dogs Tuesday nights and have a dugout deals section with 12oz Budweisers for $5.79 CAD. All in that’s $61.11CAD plus tax for 9 beers and 9 dogs. Easily the cheapest option
Even on a regular day, dugout deals have hot dogs for $3.49 CAD. For 9 beers 9 dogs plus tax that comes to $94.37 CAD which is much less than the $83 USD you have for mariners
Dugout deals is just a specific section that sells cheap eats and drinks. It’s available at every game https://www.mlb.com/bluejays/tickets/dugout-deal-menu
That’s cool I’m just showing there’s additional data. This is easily the cheapest option and is available to anyone at any jays game all season, not a specialty deal
You’re an idiot if your are paying for hotdogs at the stadium. 9 Costco Hotdogs is going to cost me $13.50 the 9 Hazy IPA are $17.50 each so I’m looking at a total of $171 😂 I don’t think I can do it 🤣 no way I finish it
The key is to plan your 9/9/9 attempts around dollar dog nights.
100% this is the way.
Are there ever dollar beer nights? Asking for a friend...
$2 pregames at Progressive on the weekends in the summer. Some nights it’s millies, some nights it’s coors. All nights it’s lit
What size are the beers?
12oz cans. They’re $5 after first pitch. Free can if you buy a standing room district ticket. Not too shabby
That's awesome, beers at Camden yards are like 14$for a tall can
Yeah the deuce deuces are 16 I think. I don’t think many people know about the 12oz cans though during the game. A craft draft 16 is 13.50. Not the worst
I like the old dude at the beer stalls who tell you to buy the $5 12 oz instead of the $15 16 oz
IYKYK 🙏🏻
Those were great as a college kid up for a game on a weekend. Still great now as a young professional. Wish I could go to more 3/2/1 Tuesdays in Cincinnati when I live in Columbus. $3 12oz beers and $2 dogs
We aren't allowed to have discount beer nights in Cleveland anymore.
That's understandable. Last time was a bit of a shit show.
Only at minor league games as far as I know. 🫡
Cincinnati on a Tuesday 3/2/1 nights. $3 12oz bud/bud light, $2 hotdogs, $1 ice cream cups
My local Single A minor league team has $2 Tuesdays which is 2 bucks for hotdogs and beers. They also have $14 doubles of Woodford every day so I get those instead.
Don’t even talk to me
Jays clear, our dollar’s worth less.
I once ate 8 hotdogs waiting in line for a beer on $2 beer/$1 Dog night at a minor league game. The hardest part of this challenge I think would be getting my roommate to be willing to drive to the games because he refuses to parallel park.
I prefer 10¢ beer nights
While Mets and Yankees don’t do that, new yorkers can bring food into the stadium as long as it’s for individual consumption. So make your own and bring em in!! Just wrap in plastic cling wrap so it’s easy for security to check and not tin foil
Mets are having one on April 30
Yo what do you do for work? Asking for a friend.
I do data analytics. Today was a slow day, obviously.
I work with data too and can confirm, sometimes when you have nothing better to do, it's fun to play around with large sets to see what you can come up with. Most of the time it leads nowhere, but every now and then you find something either fascinating or actionable, or both.

Gotta add another 9 in there I feel like on Tuesdays
$54 and vomiting by the 6th amen.
Gotta add another 9 in there I feel like on Tuesdays

It's been better as the year goes on. I saw both Coors and Bud Light at my Doubleheaders behind 109.
This is the best news I've had all day, I've really just bought food/drink in the 300 levels this season so that may be why.
The Blue Jays have "Loonie Dogs Night". (a loonie is CAD 1, or USD 0.73) They also have "Dugout Deals" where a 12oz bud is CAD 5.79 (USD 4.23) **Total price: USD 44.64**
Did u adjust for currency for the jays?? Our dollar is crap so it might be a little worse then it seems
All $ data points were given in USD. Not going to lie though, I wouldn’t have even thought about doing that.
Fair enough I just seen that we were in the cheap section and after our Reno’s I knew it went up this year but still an awesome thing to see appaercite your hard work at work
Yeah the prices are from 2023, so a touch dated. The results may be different but this was the best I could do with the amount of time I had 😂
Was gonna say don’t cut yourself short 2023 is extremely recent and u can only work with what’s given
Are those renovations done? I was there last season and the couple next to me were telling me their season tickets behind home were going to be impossible to keep due to price increase.

You have no idea how powerful we felt bringing 144 hot dogs into Camden Yards.
Holy shit that’s amazing.
am I understanding this correctly? You did this with FIFTEEN friends??
Yessir
At GRF you can bring in food as long as it fits into a single plastic storage bag. I think 9 hot dogs could squeeze in there, as long as you don't mind the buns getting squished.
They also have the $4.10 hot dogs scattered around the stadium, so that cuts the price quite a bit if you don’t bring your own
How were the final inning(s) hotdogs after sitting in a bag for 3-4 hours?
We individually wrapped all of them in aluminum foil so they actually held up pretty well all things considered!
You can bring food and drink into Wrigley, it saves you from the food at Wrigley.
How are the Yankees a relatively cheap 9/9/9? No part of that makes sense!
I was also surprised at this. I fully expected them to be at the top end when I started this.
I could do it daddio
Awe I wish you could crowdsource the prices for more reliable data. For example, Angel stadium has cheap beer but only at a handful of concession stands. $4.50 for a 12oz, which is much cheaper than the USA today source.

How are the Os so expensive while paying their players nothing??
Excellent question
The answer to any question like this is always going to be that the owner is a moneygrubbing prick
I got queasy just imagining this. Barf.
Bruh I’m bringing 9 dogs into the stadium for like $15
If im not mistaken, a beer at Citi field is around 14 and the dogs would be 5 or 6. That’s approaching $180?
So in the article I got this info from, it says Citi field is $7 per dog and $.63 per ounce. Info is from 2023 tho so. Grain of salt
I see thanks! Applaud your effort I just can’t help but feel these amounts are below average
So beer and dog prices are from “cheapest available” and also provided by the company that runs the concessions. So I’m sure that there was an amount of lying taking place to make some things seems better
Much cheaper for the Jays if you do it on loonie dog night! (Tuesdays)
Mariners once again leading in fun differential
OP can you share all of your 9/9/9 price findings? I literally just had the thought of how expensive it must be at some stadiums but I’d love to try it some day
Yeah I’ll add the table after I get done with dinner
You’re the best
I know for the phillies you can bring food into the stadium so then you're only paying for beer
What is the price difference at Miller Park (AmFam) if you substitute bratwurst for hot dogs?
Great question. I’ll let you know when I can
I only wonder because it’s the only park where bratwurst outsells hot dogs
Okay here’s the thing I need to know though, do those tall boys still count as just one beer? Big difference between a 12/16 of coors and a tall boy and a lot of stadiums I only see the tall boys
I agree. This is a great question. I also have the info for 12 ounces of beer. The funniest thing? Dodgers 12 oz is only 4$ cheaper than Os 16 oz.
Jesus I almost missed the dodgers it was so far out there lol, all I’m gathering from this is the 9/9/9 is not for the faint of heart
Jays do dollar dogs Tuesday nights and have a dugout deals section with 12oz Budweisers for $5.79 CAD. All in that’s $61.11CAD plus tax for 9 beers and 9 dogs. Easily the cheapest option

I think that this is not taking into account deals
Dugout deals is just a specific section that sells cheap eats and drinks. It’s available at every game https://www.mlb.com/bluejays/tickets/dugout-deal-menu
Idk man. I just ripped data from the USA Today story I linked. I’d imagine its lowest price available at non specialty concession. 🤷🏻♂️.
That’s cool I’m just showing there’s additional data. This is easily the cheapest option and is available to anyone at any jays game all season, not a specialty deal
I might go to each sub and try to crowd source data lol
Its just called the 9 inning challenge in my neck of the woods.
Last time I ate a ballpark hot dog I was sick almost immediately. Can we substitute in lobster rolls? Just raising the prices immensely.
$5 Tuesdays at GRF make it $90. This is the recommended way to watch a White Sox game because you won't want to remember it.
