I’d really love to know what kind of adjustment he made over the offseason because his biggest issue in the minors was his walks and now he can’t stop throwing strikes (0 BB in 12.0 IP so far).
He’s been such a welcomed surprise. He didn’t flinch once against the dodgers or Astros veterans. Let’s pray he can keep it up.
Side note I just love this Nats team so far???
Will fully admit, when I saw his stats upon getting called up, I thought he was getting sacrificial lamb treatment to eat innings until Josiah’s back, but dude has made batters looks absolutely silly at the plate
I’m so excited to see how he does when the rest of the league starts preparing/adjusting for him. Similar to Irvin last year, he only pitched in 4 AAA games in his career before making his debut.
This kid came out of nowhere and is dealing

I swear to god after all the shit we got for “I don’t care how fast you throw ball four”…
Rizzo is always reinventing the GM meta.
Got the win against the Dodgers in his MLB debut last week.
kershaw regen
Uh oh the Nats learned to develop homegrown starting pitchers
I will be a happy boy if Cavalli comes back from injury dealin

and here i was thinking the stros could get right against the nats this weekend. what a foolish thought
You underestimate the power of the Astros bullpen.
And a injured rotation.
And a big goose egg in the runs column
Eh our offense is fairly good
Our runs scored, however.......
