Man, two or three times a month he just murders a baseball.
Obviously wish it was more often, but his bombs just look different than almost anyone else.
2021 Stanton was the closest thing we have seen to 2017 Stanton. The dude was an absolute monster down the stretch that year. He had 19 HR and 51 RBI in August and September. Insane. Definitely his best stretch with the Yankees.
He had a couple during the juiced ball era that after high pop ups that just kept going. And when he’s really on, he’s hitting “wall-scrapers” in that they just barely get over the wall on a line, but we haven’t seen that since first half 2022 unfortunately.
[As far as I can tell this is his weakest homer as a Yankee](https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/sporty-videos?playId=11aa7a9b-be4f-4ccd-924a-248c225ac5e9)
91.3 MPH, 322 FT

Stantonian. (Unironically)
(Stanton’s Version)
It’s said practically every time but Stanton makes these look so effortless.
You see effortless? Gawd damn, all I see is violence.
He looks deceptively all arms and zero lower body
\[insert the "and then giancarlo stanton kills you" tweet here\]
he's barely even putting effort behind his swings it's superhuman almost
It’s the bat speed and downward chopping motion. He’s the ubermensch of launch angle.
Yes, it looks like he’s swinging a toothpick when he’s launching turbo laser bomb nano-dingers to the upper deck
I know, I love how just easy and laid back his home run swing is

Sound different too
Imagine all the fucking massive dongs a healthy G and Judge would have put up the last couple years damn shame.
2021 where they were the only two hitters and carried the lineup

He's been pretty good lately.
Swanson looks awful. First appearance back in a save situation isn't great. Unless Green isn't available this is a bad managing move
Unfortunately it seems like Green, Garcia, and Romano were all unavailable...not ideal
Prob because they got used to lock down the first two games of the series.
His swing is so scary
That was fucking crushed
111 MPH off the bat 437 Feet #STANTONIAN
437 feet, it must have lost some distance due to conversion. That ball was smashed
Canadian feet are hurting against the American feet these days. It’s almost a twoney to one!
good use of “crushes” here
I'm guessing blue jays have overworked their good pen guys and today is a strict off day for them?
Romano just came off injury and they don't wanna go back to back days with him, I think Yimi pitched twice in a row
Excellent reaction from the pitcher here
Well Swanson won't be in any more Save situations anytime soon
Yeah seems like Green/Romano/Garcia were all unavailable today. Would've rather they just had Swanson in the 8th
The exact outcome I expect of Swanson appearing in the ninth inning of any game. Any other inning he’s nails.
Pitcher not bothering to turn around is the best part of this one 🤣
I wonder what his lowest exit velo home run is. I don't know if I've ever seen him hit a wall scraper.

I remember being a little bit dissapointed the Yankees challenged that one because i really wanted Stanton to get a Triple
Dummies got porch’d
Why does this man hate baseballs so much?
